Try a forced reboot. No data is affected by this. To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

If that doesn't fix it, try this next. Reset all the settings. You won't lose any data, but all the parameters of the device will have to be entered again in the settings app. This includes WiFi network passwords. Settings > general > reset > reset all settings.

  • traffic jam on the HP Deskjet 3050 all-in-one series takes J611

A few weeks before Christmas, and all seemed well after that I installed it, I bought this printer. I have printed about 100 pages on startup ink, before he asked me to replace black ink. It has the color and black ink, but I have (almost) to print black text pages. Since I replaced the black ink cartridge, I always get an error "jam of transport." The cart moves around, but then gets stuck on the left side. There are a lot of rattling (stuck), then two beeps of ground high, followed by rattling more as it tries to move to the left, until it gives up and - error.

I followed the steps on the scoring of the question, but there is nothing in the field of transport it hampers. I followed a guide to troubleshooting a week ago, but it does not solve the issue. It is a 7 step guide. Then today I got an auto troubleshooting update options, I followed, but did not work.

When I unplug the printer from its rear and check transport I don't see no obstructions, then I plug it it in and close the cartridge door and that's when it starts to by clicking on the left side and get stuck.

Help! I can't print anything now.

Thanks Samierus, I ended up coming back to where I bought it and they had extended the date of return policy so that I was able to negotiate it. I picked the Photosmart 6510, and hope for best results.

  • Laptop stuck on Windows 7 loading screen, beeps continuously

My classmate laptop is stuck at the loading/starting Windows screen 7 (the black) and it beeps continuously (until I turn it off). This happens only on NORMAL startup, as reboot or adequate powering.
I have already put the RAM, but the problem persists. I noticed the HARD drive light flashes in conjunction with beeps so I tried to get that too, but it does not solve the problem either.

Any other ideas? Should be replaced already?

  • P7-1067cb: stuck on the screen beeps HP Desktop HP Pavilion (p7-1067cb) computer

Hello. My HP desktop computer recently stopped working. When I turned on the PC, the monitor would not turn that she was unable to receive a signal from the GPU. Soon, I replaced the old video card and PSU (Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750Ti) and Cooler Master Elite 460W. The monitor on and displays blue screen of the HP with the text "press ESC for Boot Menu". He stays on this screen, until the computer product 4 long beeps and 3 beeps short and fast right after the last beep long. Then the display shows the message "Monitor going to Sleep" and continues to do so, even if the PC is still on, and the fans are still running. Here are the procedures I did to try to solve this problem.

-Removed all the dust, cleaning radiator and fans
-Replace the thermal paste on the CPU cooler
-Removal of RAM sticks and handed over to
-Installed the new power SUPPLY and GPU
-The fact that all the cables are securely connected

I've had this computer for almost 5 years now, and I've been keep clean. I would be very happy if someone could help me with this problem. Also, thanks for reading and sorry for the big wall of text.

  • Annoying beep of Satellite P10 873

Hi, im this annoying beep intermittently from my toshiba, ive had more than 3 years and over the last 3 months or so this started beep to sound.

It looks like a number being pressed on a pad of phone, very loud sound and the most annoying numbering and occurs randomly.

Some days I don't hear it at all.
I searched on through all the settings for modems, and system sounds.

Control Panel and programs to no result and ive heard when nothing is connected to the pc to avoid externel gadgets

Also I searched this problem a few times and there is no apparent answer, my supermulti drive cannot read CD more but it can burn, it is said that every cd I put in that is a blank CD - r, it reads the dvd but cannot burn DVDs and it will not read ram dvd more all solutions outside a new drive?

It looks like a serious hardware issue... you spilled some liquid top? Such a sound comes from a key that is pressed constantly, this may also occur when keys are stuck because of some dirt in the keyboard or liquid that has dried and is today a sort of 'super-key-glue' that allows keys get stuck.

Did you notice that some keys are "suspended"?
Regarding your disk: have you ever tried a few updated firmware? And this is surely more interesting: what programs burning or cd player for the applications you have installed?

    welcome them

  • Satellite A200-1O5 - beep at startup

    Hello

My satellite makes sometimes a few loud beeps when starting the Bios for about half a minute.
After that, it starts to boot the OS (Vista) without any problem.
But something must be wrong (because of the beeps).

    What could this be?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

If a stuck keyboard key it can cause these beep codes you have spilled something on the keyboard in the past?

Everything works correctly if Windows has started, or do you have other problems too?

As already written Akuma I recommend you contact a service provider authorized too. Guys can check your laptop because it is difficult to say what part is affected without exact diagnosis and it is possible that professional people. You can find a list of all FSA here:

  • Satellite M40x - repeated beeping during post

Hi guys. I have this problem.

When I turn on my laptop, as soon as he gets to the Toshiba Logo screen it freezes and starts a repeated short beep lasts forever. I learned that a key has been blocked, so I tried to press some keys in case they return to normal. After a few tries, I managed to find the the only way to continue startup and loading of windows, is to keep the f1 + f2 + f3 pressed together all the time. I managed to log into windows I opened Notepad and published the keys then, I see we're stuck. A 44444 immediately started to type... Since the key 4 seemed all right, I thought it would be a problem with keyboard, so I tried to unplug. But the same thing happens with the Ribbon of keyboard completely disconnected from the motherboard. It freezes at logo Toshiba and beeps.

After some research on the net and this forum, I found that many people experience this problem with different laptops, but I see no alternative but to replace the motherboard, I also found a topic stating that it was the fault of media buttons, but I tried to disconnect them as soon as I pressed the power button , unfortunately no different result.

This forum is my last hope, someone has encountered something like that and fixed it? Thank you.

    Hey Buddy,

  • Mac makes beeps and will not allow entry keyboard

iMac with OS Yosemite, 4 GB.  Was working fine when I stopped yesterday, but on starting today I hear a continuous beep (maybe not the best description) or his intermittent whenever I try to enter keystrokes in a browser.  In addition, a series of double hyphens (see table) runs in the search window, as if a key is "stuck" I took off my keyboard, but it still happens.

Indeed, my imac has been 'hijacked' I can't do anything.  I checked e-mail, but when I tried to send a msg, the automatic string of dashes fills the screen until I close the e-mail.

I rebooted and also tried to start in safe mode, but the problem persists then I can't run any utility to try to resolve the problem.  I look at my directory and noticed that a file with a name something like zebrouss (?) was there, which, if I remember was a type of malware... and wonder if this could be a source of my problem.  Help!

  • Satellite A100 beep at startup

My Satellite A100 still beeps at startup (or when he wakes up after hibernation) as if a key is pressed down, and it will not stop until I press one ' ~ ' key (just below "Esc"). In addition, it begins this character by typing in the field log-in on the start screen.

Any ideas why this might happen?

    HI Maria,

It seems to me that if the key is either stuck or is defective. It is possible that the keys are shorted or the rubber under the top key shared so that contacts of does not return to the open"" position.

I suggest that you only contact authorized Service partner who can check the keyboard.

  • Satellite C650 - stuck with the underscore and black screen boot

    Model: satellite C650

Operating system: windows 7 Home premium

Problem: when I try to turn on the computer I see the Toshiba screen and then a black screen with a underscore that blinks several times then stops, and the computer is blocked like that. The fan seems to be working. I can't go to mode without failure or boot options, even if I press f8 or f12 nonstop.

Last time I started mode, I was stuck on the screen but the connection keyboard touchpad did not work and I couldn't stop. After that I have the strength of closing down and try to restart stuck like that. No beeps or anything like that.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you

    Good news.

  • 3 beeps after startup chime then nothing

    Hello

My iMac intel (2011) was working fine earlier today.  Then I came back to find it on the gray screen with the apple logo.  I tried to restart it, and it became stuck on the gray screen with three loud beeps, after initial startup Gong.

I tried resetting the PRAM, re-sitting my RAM (it's the RAM of origin).  It does not start in safe mode.

I used the built-in Apple hardware test and it has detected an error with the following message:

    4MOT/4/40000003: DRIVE HARD-1268

I ran the test again and got the same message error but with 1283 rather than 1268.  Is it a hard drive failure?

Any ideas how to proceed?  Thank you.

The error is specifically for the hard drive fan motor, but as the fan is controlled by a circuit in the HDD it is more than likely a failure of the hard drive. I saw most of the errors 4mot have had a faulty hard drive.

  • Satellite M30 - beep Constant and powers On / Off by itself

Last night I turned on my laptop Satellite M30 Special Edition and the login page appears, as usual. However, after entering my password the screen just went black and is stuck like this. After waiting a few minutes, I turned off the computer (hard restart my only option) and that's what Toshiba technical support told me to do the last time this happened (a few years ago). This is where the real trouble started.

Tried to come back on the computer, but in addition to the white screen now is a constant beep sound (like a key is stuck perhaps). The only way to make the beeping stop was soft reboot of keys, which I did several times. CTRL-Alt-Del would stop the noise and computer would shut down for a few seconds, but then immediately join the beep goes again. I finally managed to get it remains powered off mode, which is the way he currently remains.

I tried to unplug the AC and remove the battery and nothing, which makes sense. Just AC, he did the same thing, so try does not seem to be a battery problem. Tried to power a few times and always the same situation - white screen, the beep and the need to hold the power button for a few seconds get the machine to stop and stay off.

    Help, please!

    June

P.S. I contacted support and they suggested to bring it to an authorized service center, but I don't want to pay large sums of money to fix something simple and and I don't want to pay for a serious problem that can't really be healed/fixed. Any advice or suggestions on what could be wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a hardware problem - probably the motherboard. The only solution would be to take it to a repair center.

I hope it's just a change in minor liquid that has damaged the keyboard, which should not be expensive to replace.

  • Desktop HP Pavilion h8-1150z: desktop HP Pavilion h8-1150z - 6 beeps and no start

My Home Office HP Pavilion (Pav HP h8-1150z AMD (Angelica) 3 c NAPC) is about 3 and a half years (and apparently 6 months past my HP Care Pack coverage extension).   It runs Windows 7.  Yesterday while the computer was not idle, he began to make a new sound of snoring (a bit like a fan noise).  So I stopped the machine.

Now, when you try to restart, it gives 6 beeps and goes no further.  It's always a little strange noise of snoring.  After my research, it looks like it's some pre video failure.

I tried to remove the graphics card and re-sitting there.  While I had the video card, I tried to restart.  The sound of snoring had gone, but still have the 6 beeps.  While the Office has been opened, I also reinstall memory and blew out the dust.  Still no luck.

I've seen a few suggestions to clear CMOS but don't know what I would need to do it with this machine.  I unplug the machine and press down the power button for several seconds to erase any residual power.

Any suggestions/recommendations?  If it looks like my graphics card has gone bad, any suggestions on how to buy a compatible replacement?

    Thank you.

    old_geekster,

I talked to Support PNY and they agreed that the graphics card, I bought should be compatible but does not appear (maybe because I was running an old version of the bios on the HP computer, but I found myself stuck in being not able to update).

So I ended up finding another graphics card (EVGA GeForce 8400 GS 1 GB DDR3 PCIe 2.0 graphics card 16 x) and that did the trick!  Once I have installed the new card I was back running.

Thank you once again for all the help you have provided me and your community support!

  • Stuck in the HP configuration menu, when I install my 760.

I have a problem when I start my computer. I have a HP H8 - 1020. So, I went to install my new graphics card which is an EVGA GTX 760, I changed the power supply to a CX600M of Corsair, but when I start my computer I'm stuck on the HP Logo/setup menu, then if I wait until there is a series of beeps. After these beeps my screen goes black. Now, if I reinstall my old graphics card, it starts without a problem and I can continue to use my computer.

    Any help/advice would be great.

    -Matt

This isn't a new issue, see here with the HP8-102 x series.

    Big_Dave had a suggestion:

On this post, ask the OP how many beeps are heard between breaks?  You can go to the partner Services media library, find the series, then watch motherboard diagnostics codes.

What is suspicious is that the card EVGA 760 is backward compatibility with a motherboard no UEFI.  I have a NVIDIA 660 in my PC FL and had to get a fix to allow him to work with UEFI. I asked EVGA why the patch has not been incorporated in the new Council and they said it was to allow backward compatibility with older non - UEFI PCs. So I suspect the 760 has the task and is not compatible.  EVGA will have to confirm this suspicion.
