Symbols in disc label

Anyone knows how to insert symbols in disc label?

It is not difficult,

But you can do it easily, like change the wallpaper desktop.
You must type the codes.

Visit SmartUSB.net. It explains step by step how to insert symbols Flash Player.

Insert symbols Flash drive

Use the same method on your internal hard drive, disk labels. It will work.

As you can see I have 6 drives of virtual clone. Each has a custom icon, but only 5 have a custom label. However, you can see in the registry that drive M has the exact same DefaultLabel key as the other 5 discs, but its label is empty!
It's make the OCD in me go crazy! I tried everything that I can imagine. I deleted all the virtual drives and uninstalled virtual clone drive and disappeared in the registry and deleted the key driveicons reinstalled drive clone virtual and end upwards with exactly the same thing! A key is created for each player and each of them has a key defaultlabel but only records M is empty, even if its registry key for defaultlabel is "Virtual CloneDrive"!
I hate vista and windows registry of! * What the * is more write the bloody God defaultlabel on just the M drive! I mean that I have to do clean and reinstall windows to remove an obscure registry key that is somehow the defaultlabel for just the M drive key substitution? It's maddening because you cannot contact someone at microsoft who could have any chance to understand why this is happening!

  • Windows Vista backup and restore: no path to write the disc label

    Original title: Back-up-Windows Vista

Automatic backup on windows vista provides a label to write on the dvd in the external disk drive. There is no pop-up window to indicate where to write that the label - so fails it AutoSave.

When I insert a blank DVD RW in the drive E back-up indicates firstly that there is no disc in drive E. When I insert this disc a second time, that a pop-up window indicates that I have to label this disk as shown above, but there is no path [local] who then shows how to label this disc.

    Brucebkb123,

I would, if I were you, save all the time and the aggravation of the use of DVDs for backup of files.
Go to a RELIABLE computer store (not Best Buy), ask for an EXTERNAL hard drive for backup of files. Not the 'E' drive that you said. This isn't an external hard drive.
Today, a drive Ext. hard can easily be done for less than $100. It is well worth, instead of pulling your hair.

Make sure what you say "external hard drive for backing up files.

  • Laptop HP 15-f162dx: THEIR is NO OPTION of DVD FOR DVD RECOVERY DISC CREATION IN the HP RECOVERY MANAGER'S

I HAVE HP 15-f162dx NOTEBOOK PC in WHICH I AM creating RECOVERY DVD DISCS IN "HP RECOVERY MANAGER", BUT in THE "HP - CREATE RECOVERY MEDIA" IS NO OPTION TO CREATE a DVD. EARLY CLAIM.

    CONCERNING

    Ok.

I don't see that as a real issue or problem.  The ability to create a recovery media is part of the purchase, and you do not have the ability to create a recovery media.

Why don't you use the option of USB flash drive?

The USB stick recovery is higher on the recovery DVD disc in a number of ways.

    (1) a usb flash drive are not damaged by just scratching the surface, unlike the DVD in a set of recovery disks. A scratch on the side of disc label #1 and the whole is unusable.

    (2) a recovery, when from a usb flash drive takes less than an hour, so that once made with one set of recovery disks can take up to four hours.

    (3) not all DVD media can be used to create a reliable recovery DVD media.

    (4) DVD media can be easily destroyed by heat, if you live in a region of the world where the temperature is normally high.

    (5) usb recovery media creation takes less than an hour, compared to the time it would take to make a recovery of the DVD disc.

  • WANT 5660: Calibration of the disk labels

My ENVY 5660 printing, scanning, copying Photo - year not for labels. It prints only about a quarter circle on the left side of the document.

    Hi @Smoky1,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your problem of calibration.

I understand that you use a 5660 ENVY of HP printer e-all-in-one with a computer of Windows 7 and you get the printer to calibrate for disc labels. I would like to help.

I mentioned HP ENVY 5660 e-all-in-one printer Specifications and found that the labels did not appear as a media type supported.

Calibration only that this printer is designed to do is the alignment of the printer, which takes place during the initial installation, or when the ink cartridges are replaced.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

Indeed, if this help you to achieve a solution please click the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

  • Need help to use a recovery disc for v3 - 551

Sorry for my English, still a student.

OK, so after having received these 5 discs, one being the system disk, recovery of 1, 2, 3 then language pack.

The problem is I deleted my partition on the HARD drive so that I have order the recovery disk because apperently I can restore my system with the factory settings. The instructions State to

1: Insert the disc labeled System.

2: reboot the computer and press f12

3:when you are prompted for the recovery disc, remove the system disk and insert the first disc of recovery. blah blah ect

So apperently I have the "system disk" boot up first then I can use the recovery disks. The problem is that I am unable to because in order to start this system disk, I need to set up in the UEFI bios 'comes like this to factory settings' that's fine. Boots/loads fine then once for the disc to load Finally I gives me two options.

1: new installation of system disk C:

2: restore all partitions of HARD drive (it's what I want), but once I chose option 2 I get the notice "Please start this recovery disk using BIOS legancy mode. I even then choose option 1, same message.

If I change the settings of the bios to legancy I can't load the disc then get this message 'WARNING fail' telling me I need UEFI mode.

    So, uh, Yes, ideas?

system partition MBR table on EFI System... windows 8 TPG... Well hit me further in the head. Fixed, in reading your link. Thank you. Once I formatted the HARD drive by using windows disc 8, restoring the system started working. I had formatted HDD previously with windows 7 disc. I know...

    Hi TerryodO'Donnell.

The manufacturer of your computer would have installed extra software on your computer to create CD labels.

So, you can use LightScribe system software to create CD labels.

  • The disc numbers tags support

    Hello

I have a problem since the last update of the firmware with albums divided into 2 or more CDs.

All my music on my rocket is in mp3 with ID3 v2.3, UTF16 text encoding tags.

All files belonging to the album even if they are on the first or the second CD have the same exact album label (not to mention the number of the disk), but have the right disk number in the number of disc label field. In addition, the number of the disk is mentioned in the name of the file.

Here is my file name template:

Artist, (year) Album (drive x) - XX track.mp3

When sorting by name, all the songs are played in order through the disc number before the track number.

Before the last update of firmware, I managed to get the album to play in the right order, probably because the "rocket" seems to give priority in the name of the file for the order of the songs.

Since the last update of the firmware, the "rocket" seems to give more importance to the track number tag:

the 1st track of the 1st disc is played first, the 1st track on the 2nd disc is read.

then it's the 2nd track of the 1st disk, then the 2nd track on the 2nd disc and so on.

Files with the same number of track belonging to different disk label are played one after the other, the track of the first album always practiced before the track on the next disc.

This means that the files of sorts first rocket by tag number, track, and when there is a conflict, using file names to sort titles that share the same track number tag.

I know two solutions of workaround for this problem (in disc number album track field, updated the tag number including before the track number disc number), but none of these corrections satisfy me. Number of disk in the album field means that I have to select the second drive, when the first is finished (I sort my music by albums). The second is more interesting, but it requires me to manually change the files.

My question is; is it not possible for the "rocket" to take into account the disc number tag before other criteria when sorting of files in a future update?

Add this feature to the "rocket" does not seem to require a lot of work for me.

    Thanks for reading.

(oh, and support replaygain with selection of track/album gain would be greatly appreciated!)

Yes Discnumber will be in the next update.

  • Labelling of a backup CD

I have Windows Vista and the automatic backup set. I have the backup set to my reader of CD E. When the backup starts, it stops and asks a disc with a label how to label a disk? I tried to format a blank disc again 3 times and after formatting, none of them work as a backup.

    Hello

In Windows Vista, there is no model integrated to create DVD labels however; You can visit this link to create labels for CD/DVD.

This problem occurs if you use the "backup and Restore Center" to back up files and folders on a CD that contains already data or on DVD, which already contains data.

In order to provide a reliable backup, the "backup and Restore Center" point is not compatible by using the media to which data has been written.

To work around this problem, insert a new blank media in the CD drive or in the DVD drive when you use the "Backup and Restore Center" item to back up files and folders in Windows Vista.

    This behavior is by design.

The disc is bootable - simply insert the disc 1 in the bin and restart the machine - you should have an option to boot from the CD (if not, read your manual for instructions) - recovery then reformat the hard drive and continue the installation.
MAKE SURE THAT YOUR DATA IS BACKED UP FIRST! -to external media.

  • Can't print CD label

When I try to create a cd label, I get a popup that says that he install work and models on my device. It starts at 3% full and stays there. I uninstalled and reinstalled the device drivers on the HP site, but obviously the photosmart essentials3.5 are not included because the installation date remained the same. My printer is a C5540. How can I fix this so I can get a field to type and print a disc label?

Thank you. Apparently, there was some time of Pépin the first I reloaded the drivers for my printer. I searched for help more and eventually found the drivers reloaded again and this time they are working. This shows only adolescents are faster on the capture with computers than men in the 1970s.  Thanks again

  • Labelling of all objects in a layer

I use illustrator for the analysis of scientific imagery and I was wondering if there is a way to text label all the objects that I chose only one.

example: I select all the objects in a single layer (50-100 items) and type in "CTA" now all objects have "CTA" written on them.

If it is a script or something to help with what she would be most appreciated.
    Thank you!

I think that James' replace Script would be more useful.

    http://www.illustrationetc.com/AI_Javascripts/ReplaceScripts.htm

    1. make a symbol of the label of the CTA.

    2. duplicate the layer of objects.

    3. select everything on the copied layer and run the JET_ReplaceWithSymbol script. Each selected object will be replaced by the symbol of the CTA.

If the original objects are of various sizes, symbols that result will be of different sizes.

You'll probably want to turn each symbol of uniform dimensions, but sorry, I don't know how to do this in artificial intelligence.
