Synch email POP3 & WebOS 1.3.1

Since the deletion of an email from my server 1.3.1 update is no longer removes it from my Inbox on my pre. I have currently no email on my mail server, but I 231 'new' and 'unread' emails in my pre canned. I tried to restart the phone and even went as far to delete the email account (it took the front 15 hours to do) and then add again, that did not help at all. I have to move in my trash folder and then empty trash to get them off the coast of the Pre.

Everyone knows this? If so, have you found a solution?

First tests with WebOS 1.4.0 and the option "Sync to the device server" turned on simulates the behavior of synchronization WebOS pre 1.3.1 by e-mail.  I am back - light the auto sync and continue to test.  Thank you Palm!

  • Email pop3 my Ipad 2 Air

When away from home I correctly sent emails pop3 my ipod touch using gmail outgoing server after you add my pop3 address to my gmail settings.

I just bought an air of Ipad 2 and reflect the parameters on that. However whenever I try to send mail from my pop3 on the gmail server address he rejected her and puts a copy in my Outbox. When I go home and log on to my Wireless it and send them.

I thought it's probably a problem with the outgoing server, but as it still works fine on my ipod touch I do not understand.

    Can anyone offer any help?

    Thank you

Did you use public WiFi or data cell phones to send e-mail while you're not home? I'm guessing that the network does not permit certain outbound ports. SMTP port are you using (look at the outgoing SMTP settings)?

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not access email POP3 with Blackberry, but works fine in other e-mail clients

My company recently moved hosting of emails to a new dedicated server (with Lunarpages - www.lunarpages.com).

We have normal, ordinary POP3 e-mail accounts that is accessible through any regular desktop mail client (Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc.)

I put one of these accounts successfully on my Torch 9800 last week and had no problem. Yesterday I deleted this account in order to demonstrate to a co-worker, how to add a new account, and I could not add a new account by using the same parameters since.

This isn't a problem of carrier or to a particular device (tried on several media and several BB devices, all without success), but it's a specific problem Blackberry. It is limited to my dedicated server as well, not all servers hosted by Lunarpages.

I know I put the correct settings in the account name, e-mail server, etc, because this worked on my flashlight and the same settings continue to work correctly with other phones and email clients.

I suspect that there is some kind of disagreement between my server and BIS. Can anyone suggest what the problem could be here still, or even who I should talk to? My service provider is unable to help because it is not specific to them and my Lunarpages server provider is completely baffled. Please, any suggestions are welcome!

    Problem solved.

If someone needs to know, http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB11036 describes the IP addresses that must be unlocked in order for the BIS interact with a mail server.

However, DO NOT included on this list has been 74.82.80.0/24, another server RIM, I discovered this morning had been blocked by my server. This list has been updated end of 2011, so I guess they changed things since then. Anyway, once I unlocked which will, everything works now.

  • Email - pop3 - valid - bis - blackBerry Smartphones do not receive emails

I'm new to blackberry and I have a new storm 9500 series of verizon.  I have installation three (personal) e-mail - a yahoo mail and two POP3 accounts.  My yahoo account seems to work perfectly, but the other two pop3 do not seem to receive at all.

    Here are the details:

    (1) I have set up all three through the device

    (2) when the pop3 were not working after the initial validation, I contacted the technical support of Verizon and they informed me on the BIS website.

    (3) I've deleted my pop3 accounts and rebuilt the BIS Web site and post them without problem

    (4) I received my validation messages on both accounts pop3 without problem

    (5) I got one or two test messages for each pop3 account

    (6) shortly after, I stop receiving all messages for pop3 accounts.

    ((7) repeat steps 3)-6)

Finally, I went to the websites of these two providers of Internet services and looking for something special for blackberry support and can't find anything substantial.  I am at a loss.  There is no configuration of filters and I checked the box to forward the e-mail to the device.

    Thank you.

Bifocals - thanks for the response.

I think that I thought about it.  But to answer your question, Yes, I always send Service books to update my BIS accounts.

So, I use the simple Outlook Express on a PC "always on" at home.  It seems that my two ISP in question send a copy of the e-mail to BIS timely so my client at home receives emails before they are sent to BIS.  In the my client ADVANCED options, I had to put my messages to be left on the server for a day to give enough time for the e-mail accounts that you want to synchronize with Blackberry.  It seems that there is a lag of 10 minutes to receive emails on my client vs my device.  I tested this all day with good results.  So, originally I had my emails being rubbed server after childbirth.  What they obviously not send to the BIS and my client at the same time to give of their time to the process seem to be the thing.

  • Smartphones from blackBerry Curve 8330 - Email POP3 problems: Incorrect password

    Hello

I'm having a problem with the email on my Sprint Curve 8330... I had the camera for a week or two and email works fine, but I'm currently having a problem with one of my POP3 email accounts (I have 2 Configuration on the phone).

My Outlook suddenly wonder over and over again to enter my password, and I received an email on my camera, stating that E-mail was are more distributed, because my password/username must be updated. No e-mail password have been changed, but I followed the instructions and logged onto my email configuration and back my password. When I saved, he says that the update of my account was not.

This happened to me for a few hours last week and told me it was just because the BB/Sprint server has decreased, but it lasted about 7 hours HE and continues today. The server is really low? I do not understand exactly why I can't get my email on my PC either, but that's exactly what happened the last time. I find it also strange that only one of my accounts POP3 is affected.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hello HeroicDiva,

If your Outlook and BlackBerry Internet Service reject your password or asking you for the password, then your password has changed on this mail server. My advice would be to contact your host or IT admin who cares for it to reset the password to something you want so that you can update both places and get back up and functional.

    See you soon!

  • Mail application will not connect with my email "blank email".

    Hello

I had my email working in the mails via POP3 for several years successfully.

As part of installing another e-mail provider, I decided to make changes and removed the "Blank email" POP3 account and set up on IMAP. Since he did not accept all incoming mail and I lost everything in my Inbox!  The connection to the server to send emails (via SMTP) works, but the 'sign in' doctor says he can not connect to IMAP and tells me to "check that the username and password are correct". Both are! The IMAP connection is configured to run on Port 993, such as advised by "E-mail Virgin."

My webmail works fine. The problem is with Mail not with the provider.

I wonder if there is a file set that is still ongoing with the old POP3 settings?

I have an iMac OSX 10.9.5 running

    Help appreciated.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Gmail vs housed in Email

I'm having a time difficult with the gmail app and the built in email (I separated texts and emails in two different icons).  The built-in email with which I am connected my gmail seems to get messages almost instantaneously so that gmail is a few minutes late.  That being said, I like the layout and functionality of the gmail app better than the built-in email.  My dispute is that there is an indicator to have a new message that appears due to the integrated email, so whenever I get a new email and I look in the application gmail, I then go to the messages icon and 'read' is here also to make the new email indicator go away from my home screen.  Should I just save the email in the e-mail program integrated even faster or conditioned with duty watch each email twice?  Is anyway to stop that the indicator display on the home screen?

what you want is a feature that is not available for all e-mail providers.
Google Mail can do to ensure you are using the channel of communication between the servers of Google and Blackberry.

This link is made by your configuration when you go on your carrier's BIS site. Here, you log in and configure the server to Google, your google email address, the password, and the channel of the type.

There are two types of channels for email: POP3 and IMAP4. You need IMAP4.
