• Old, inaccessible synchronization device remove the account.

  Hello, I'm a bit of a handyman and a tech junkie. However, I still find sync is a very useful and practical and applied it to all of my devices (tablets, phone, multiple computers). Because of my ongoing quest to improve things, however, I am frequently change OS' are and uninstall apps/reorder records on many of these devices, so I find myself often need to reinstall firefox (and thus re-synchronization).

  The only problem here is that sync recognizes each new iteration as its own separate device, even though a large majority of them cease to exist entirely and are gone forever. What makes my "other devices tabs" page a huge pain to access, as most device names are the same and always have many pages active in them.

  How would I go about the removal of these old accounts of my sync account? Change my password is not good at all, because given that the devices cannot access the server, more they are always present in my database and therefore are always boring. Any help is appreciated!

  It seems that you have disconnected the old Firefox Sync and re - he added. • synchronization: How can I store the mails for different accounts remotely and manually copy the most important e-mails in local folders on both devices?

  Hello. I have two machines and two accounts, so what I want is this:
  I want only to store mail from two accounts in a remote place and copy more important mails to local folders.

           (I will be grateful for any ideas as to where/how this "cloud" can be - specially free places)
           * Can I have a copy of these local folders in both devices and the remote storage?
           * Could i synchronize devices so that: when i move a mail to a local folder in any device, its copied to the same folders in

  The first awkwardness that I see is that there is no clear format in which to store the messages remotely such that you can work with them in an email client. It may be possible to set the option "Local Directory" of the account in Thunderbird to point to a remote folder (DropBox comes to mind) but I've never tried, and I'd be nervous about what happens if the connection cannot be established, or if you happened to access it simultaneously from two different locations. The other concern is that mail stores are fast becoming big, and you would be forever download and download large files (several gigabytes). Thunderbird stores what looks like a folder that contains many messages separated as one big file, so there is no simple possibility of incremental changes to load up/down.

  The idea of local folders in Thunderbird is to detach messages from servers, therefore they do not follow what is happening on the servers. I say this to emphasize the distinction between files stored locally and permanently ("Local Folders"), against copies cached files online ("synchronized"). It is not sure to consider your folders synchronized as permanent.

  So folders synchronized on an IMAP server are "mirrored" in Thunderbird you do not have a local (although temporary and transitional) copy of messages. This is done primarily to avoid download repeatedly the messages if you re-read, and it makes the fastest search more effective. But these "synchronized" track of message that are deployed on the server, and so if they are deleted from anywhere, all devices that are synchronized at one point also see messages deleted endangered. (Except if you have saved a local copy on the local folders account).

  I use a gmail account quite as much as you described; Copy or move messages to this account, so that they are visible in my phone, my tablet, my own laptop and my computer works. It's free, and it is "in the cloud"; the only reservation I have is her private life. There are other suppliers (e.g. 1 & 1/gmx) who do not seem to have the fetish of collecting data that google thrives.

• How can I download my favorite offline to synchronize the server to synchronize their?

  Firefox is the only browser that I use and I have tons of bookmarks. I use Firefox Sync to synchronize my favorite devices mainly on 4 (2 desktop, 1 laptop and 1 tablet). I added the new bookmarks from the PC which has still all the bookmarks, and they have been synchronized correctly on the other 3 devices. I think somehow these specific bookmarks (which are missing on the other 3 devices) got disconnected/irreversible of the Firefox Sync server.

  Now, since I was the missing bookmarks on a PC, is it possible to download these bookmarks unrelated to Firefox Sync Server so that they can be re-linked and synchronized on other devices? If so, how can I do? If not, what else are my options to get my favorites back and sync?

  You cannot add whatever it is located outside of Firefox Sync. The service only connects through an installation of Firefox.

  As far as trying to solve this problem with bookmarks 'lost' on 3 devices...

  1 disconnect all 4 devices Sync.
  2. then on the PC which has still all of your bookmarks, install this extension - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/places-maintenance/ - to rebuild the database of places on this device. I suspect that is where your problem started.
  3. when the 'maintenance' is made, reconnect this synchronization device and let it run for like maybe 24 hours to fill again the synchronization with the data server "fixed".
  4. then you can start to reconnect the other 3 devices Sync one at a time (do the last Tablet), allowing some time for each device to "Digest" some changes are made during the re-sync connection.

  Do not rush synchronization at any time - depending on how many bookmarks and how much history you have: maybe add a device by day and leave Firefox running for a long period does nothing else.   First of all, let me say that your code is very nice!

  The problem is that you are using the fast sample for the device that is supposed to be slow clock:

  

  Even if you specify the rate as 10 Hz, the clock itself is still at 10 kHz (by specifying the right rate allows the DAQmx driver determine the size of buffer etc and don't actually change your external sample clock speed - however, it changes the rate of the simulated device).

  My recommendation to synchronize devices would use the built-in PLL and lock to the reference clock 10 MHz of your PXI chassis.  Your devices would always share a trigger to start, but each would generate its own sample clock based on its time base that is locked to 10 MHz reference.

  I tried the manual transfer and automatic synchronization of music library, but both ways, it would be just complete all four steps very fast and no songs would actually moved on my device. I tried to turn on and off, turning the cable 8 different ways, update of iTunes (was actually the latest version), but nothing really worked.

  To answer your question about the identity or the keystrokes, you can run a malware scan to search your computer for malware. Regarding the identity, the user with the e-mail address that appears under the wrong name can receive your confirmation email to reset your password and may be confused (assuming that the name is the email that does not display properly)

  To answer your question how sync works when the next to the profile name icon is incorrect. Can also provide a screenshot of it? What is an email? I don't know which menu you're talking about.

  1. You must disconnect the incorrect account name.
  • Open Firefox with Profile Manager to verify that there are no more than a profile using several profiles
  • Otherwise disconnect the account in the preferences/Options > Sync Menu
  1. Make a copy of the profile with the link above or below
  • Backup and restore Firefox profiles information
  1. Attach the appropriate account name and synchronize devices or that the account does not have the profile data is in the profile folder. Create a new account with this profile will keep you informed.
