Synchronize the Smartphone blackBerry Bold 9700 with Desktop Manager

I have trouble log my Bold 9700 with Desktop Manager (PC) for e-mail, my calendar and my contacts. I am on gmail and understand that I will not be able to synchronize my email, that's fine.

Calendar and address book: I was told to click on my calendar with my menu button then Options and disconnect the wireless connection, this option does not exist at this location. Am I doing this wrong?

Once I click on Options what happens, it's run by Tuping - painted paper - number of rows in icon - default reset settings

Help!

Hello and welcome to the community!

There are two places to check (and disable), and the KB explains both:

  • KB22430 How to enable or disable syncing wireless contact with the BlackBerry Internet Service

Sorry for not responding earlier; been out of town on business.

After much trying this and that, I discovered the issue referenced on the site 2010 download, or point and click.  Of course, although it is acceptable to Microsoft it is not supported by Blackberry once you get the real disk, you will need to uninstall the point and click on reinstall via the disc.  This allows also to Office 2010 to run faster given it is on your hard drive and not a virtual place.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones support comes to buy the new blackberry bold 9700

Hi everyone I just bought the new blackberry bold 9700 from at & t and im paying $ 25 a month for the internet and I have the black iphone theme. I used to have the old curve and I thought I knew everything there was to know about the BlackBerry, but now I am having a problem... on my screen theres a envelope which according to him as the number 1 indicates that I have a message that has been closed, but I do not know how to open it. It is not a text or bbm message or an instant message. my phone is not related to my email, so my question is how can I find where this message is in my phone and how to open it because it is really starting to annoy me haha please help!

Open the application "messages".  Press the 'u '.  Brings you to the last e-mail unopened.  If there is nothing in there, press the menu key and select 'View Saved messages.'  Do the same thing in there with the U key (if there is a lot.)  If it is not in the saved messages, doing the same thing again, and then select "view folder" and each search folder until find you it.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Bold 9700 for ORANGE bought in the UK, but never used does not work with TELSU SIM in the Canada

I had a Blackberry Bold 9700 as a gift.  I think it was made for the Orange network in the United Kingdom ('Orange' written at the bottom of the BlackBerry in the front).  I tried to use it with my TELUS account in Canada with TELUS SIM.  The Blackberry does not register any wireless network signal.  The meter of signal display "SOS" only and no TELUS network is avaiable.  My position is Mississauga (Ontario) and Telus wireless covers this area for sure.  I checked that the device is not locked by going to Options-Advanced-online SIM card and typing MEPD Options Online.  The options that appear to say 'off '.  The device seems to read the SIM card because the SIM card # appears.

Y at - it someone who has the same problem and its resolution.  A large part in this regard, the obligation for any input.

    Hello

I just discovered the reason for BB does not not with TELUS that I wanted to inquire about registration CDMA you mentioned...

A smart guy, he asked me to check the frequency bands that supports my BB.  Its sub Options => on.  "3 G bands" that supports my BB are 1, 4, and 8.  These correspond to the IMT 2100 MHz, AWS 1700 MHz and GSM 900 MHz respectively.  The frequencies that TELUS uses in the Canada are groups 1, 2, 5 and 6.

So, finally tech TELUS came with the answer that my BB is designed to work with some UK frequencies and not with TELUS frequencies in the Canada.

I've misunderstood and used the term incorrectly HARD LOCK.  The BB I have shows all the options as "disabled" when I go into options in advance-online SIM card and press the MEPD.  Also if I press MEP2 unit not asks me to input MEP codes.  Nothing happens.  This led me to believe that this device is not locked to ORANGE network so the lack of a better term, I used little HARD LOCKED.

Much obliged for your entry.  It has been enlightening.  Thank you very much.

  • Synchronization problems Blackberry Bold 9700 with Bluetooth of Windows 7 drivers Sony Vaio SZ series

I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 with a clean reinstall on my laptop Sony VAIO VGN-SZ470N. Full specifications can be seen here: http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&kw=vgn-sz470n/c&lp=8198552921665095013&productId=8198552921665095013#footNotes

My goal: to sync my new Blackberry Bold 9700 wireless via bluetooth using the built-in radio. Many people have had problems with this and the forums are littered with solutions that have worked for others, but I'm having no luck.

So-called: Device Manager software Blackberry won't recognize devices that are managed by Windows Native Bluetooth stack.

    What I did:

Windows will automatically detect my bluetooth radio and installs the "Bluetooth USB Controller (ALPS/UGPZ6)" (hardware ID: USB\VID_044E & PID_300D & REV_1915, USB\VID_044E & PID_300D) driver. With this driver, I can go to the "add a device" with my phone in discovery mode, and the computer will not conclude it.

If I go in ' control panel-> add devices ", the Add Device Wizard window will tell me it's looking two detectable Bluetooth devices found in the range. I went into control panel of-> see devices-> UGX (which resembles a bluetooth adapter bit) and there was no "bluetooth settings option when I would right click."

After reading on the Blackberry forums that the BB only synchronizes with the Bluetooth of Windows stack, I updated my driver ALPS/UGPZ6 to "generic bluetooth adapter. The selection of this driver also installs driver for "Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator. It also adds the bluetooth icon in the lower bar of good start near the time and date. I can now go to 'Add a device' and it will show my BB 9700. When I connect, matching Assistant is displayed on my phone and in windows. I enter a code on my blackberry and enter a code in the wizard windows. Both devices and then tell me that pairing has been successful. However, the two machines are.

Once the BB is paired, tent windows install the drivers of the two newly discovered devices, then gives me an error and States that the drivers cannot be installed. It is said that it is impossible to install two drives, both devices are listed in the device as "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" Manager (Hardware ID BTHENUM\ {426c6163-6b42-6572-7279-44736b746f70} _LOCALMFG & 000D).

In "devices and printers > Bluetooth' BB 9700 is now listed with a status of 'troubleshooting needs'." Although the devices are paired, the BB will ever show a status of connected, rather it will continue to just try to connect every two minutes or more. I can connect to my friends MacBook, but I have no idea how to test the fact that the connection works. I also noticed that in the screen 'Add features' phone bluetooth of my roommate. So, I looked for ways to resolve the missing drivers.

I found three solutions supposed for the driver installation error which has not WORKED for me.

    (1) the first is to right click on the two strangers 'Bluetooth' devices in Device Manager and updated the driver in both cases to "RIM Virtual Serial V2". When you try to implement this solution, the status "needs Troubleshooting" will disappear, but blackberry Device Manager will not find the BB 9700 to add for bluetooth sync. Nothing else seems to change. Complete instructions for this solution have been listed here: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Pearl-BlackBerry-8100/Need-Bluetooth-Peripheral-Device-driver-to-connect-to-8120/m-p/263541

The other way, I tried to fix the driver error problem was to remove all the listed drivers and reinstall the generic Bluetooth USB controller and the enumerator. Then I went and downloaded the Windows Mobile Device Center Driver Upgrade. For the two unknown devices labeled "Bluetooth Peripheral Device", I chose the Bluetooth radio driver > Microsoft Corporation > peripheral support Windows Mobile.  Once again, the status in devices and printers troubleshooting message > Bluetooth devices disappear, but still the Blackberry device manager can't find the phone. I found the original steps for this here: http://www.computers.nepalesemap.com/index.php?topic=3.0

    (3) supposed to be the reason why the blackberry will not sync with the ALPS driver installation is because the windows bluetooth stack does recognize it not as compatible. So I uninstall the Bluetooth devices and blackberry. I restarted and the computer reinstalls the driver ALPS.

I found a solution which says to edit the c:\windows\inf\bth.inf file and add the hardware ID that is listed in the device under the ALPS HardwareID driver manager. I have add the ID of the hardware to the list of devices, but the bluetooth enumerator installs ever, and I can't access the Bluetooth settings.

Does anyone else have this problem? Can anyone help!

    Hi Cptnnemo,

How do you close the computer, you have your Blackberry?  As with any Bluetooth, the device must be 3-4 FEET away from being discovered.  Please follow the instructions on the MSFT made, then try to keep your 3-4 feet away and try the discovery mode.

BlackBerry Bold 9700 os6 - how to remove the status bar (3g, indicator of service) at the top?

I love the new OS6 and MEDIA SYNC is great.  Finally my itunes music is available on my blackberry!

You can "get rid of it.
The only change you can make is the 5 bars can be changed by the numbers by pressing ALT + NMLL (instead of the signal bars, you see the actual level in dBm)

  • TELUS of Smartphones blackBerry Bold 9700 in Northern Ontario?

Hello, I'm about to buy a Bold 9700 from telus, and I wonder if the unit will not operate even where I live.   I live in Timmins, and we do not have ' have 3 + coverage according to the telus website, but we have Rev.A CDMA coverage (which is what I have on my htc device), and we also have a GSM coverage with the rogers network.

The Blackberry Bold 9700 from telus will work in Timmins in ontario?  Will's use of Rogers GSM bands?   I'm better off getting the Curve 8530, which is a CDMA phone?

Thanks for the comments, I need to know before you buy.

9700 will not work with CDMA.

Bell/Telus works exclusively on the HSPA network for the 9700 unsure about Rogers however.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Bold 9700 wifi but not bbm

As of right now I'm temporarily in Argentina, but my carrier is T-Mobile in the United States, where I have an unlimited plan. I have a bold 9700 with OS5. Now, with my T-Mobile chip if I get a WiFi I can navigate and use bbm. However, with Argentina chip from another phone (which does include no data) when I connect to wifi I can browse but do not have bbm. In addition, despite being connected, the rest white wifi dim (as opposed to the more dynamic version) icon. I am struggling to understand why with a single chip it would allow me to use bbm and why he would not with each other. It's annoying to have to constantly switch between the two circuits to be able to use bbm. Any ideas?

It's actually pretty simple. Your TM SIM includes all BB owners... when it is inserted, you have access to these services, because your BB can authenticate (happens in the background, you do nothing) to the servers TM BIS (via WiFi). With your Argentinean SIM card, you have no BB service... and as such don't receive them (because, not having the card SIM of TM, your BB cannot authenticate on the TM BIS servers). Regardless of the access channel (e.g., network WiFi vs data carrier), you must run with a SIM card which has a BB data plan in order to use the services BB owners.

    Good luck!

It's good, it means that the connection to the USB port on your handset is good.

I know that you may have tried this... but try again. New charger, new battery, charger different, different load location (another outlet). "You have a DC car charger, try it).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Snycing Blackberry Bold 9700 with Contacts list in Outlook

    Hello

I just bought a Bold 9700, and everything works well except the synchronization of Outlook contacts.

I am also the synchronization of calendar, which works fine, but when I sync the contacts, I get the following error message ox80040Fb3

I have the latest verson of the Blackberry user tools software and I tried to uninstall and reinstall again, but the same error comes back.

If I only sync the contacts from the phone to Outlook then it works, but I can't sync both ways or from Outlook to the phone.  My phone is a Blackberry Pearl, I have had no problem of synchronization with Outlook.  The Version of the user tools for the Pearl Blackberry was Version 4.3, I re-installed and tried, but I still got the same error.

I think that she must have a problem with the software on the phone, as the problem did not happen with my other Blackberry, and it happens with both versions of the software.

I use Vista Home Premium with Office XP.  Someone at - it ideas?

1, while that synchronize you the address book, it goes through the numbers, as 1.2.3... 1233 HANG! You know he has problem with address 1233.

2, export the address book from Outlook to Excel, then to identify contact contact 1233 (be careful on what address line starts on Excel - on mine it starts on line 2), then 1233-> row 1234.

    3, delete the contact.  go back to step 1;

I had to remove 5 on about 2000 to make it work.  I can't say why these 5 did not work - I just like many other contacts with Chinese characters. BB9700 suspect "sees" something we cannot see. But removal of sync works.

    What a pain!
