Syntax of HP to convert error

Hello

I have a new HP first graphic calculator.  My old G 48 died on me, and decided to make the switch.  It's so different from what I am accustomed.

First of all, this is my first HP Info:

Software version: 2014 3 31 (6030)

Hardware Version: has

Version number: 1.1.0 - 46

A function that I use a lot on my 48G was converting units.

So I tried starting using Convert on my first HP and when I tried to convert I had a syntax error.  Looked around in forums and somewhere, he updated firmware, I did.

Now I have 2 errors.  First of all, when I press "Convert", I get a new error: wrong number of arguments

Then when I try to convert I get the same error of syntax.

I think I know where the problem lies for the syntax error, when converting should put units (of) I think.  But for some reason any length that is not, for other units, he made (km2).

I tried the feature on the virtual calculator on windows and on the virtual server an everything works, but on my physical, I always get the same 2 errors (even when the units are in (), with no result.

Can anyone help please?

Thank you

Please let us know some examples of expressions that you tried, what you expected, and what has happened to the place.  ALSO please let us know how your premium is in (for example entry RPN, or CASE mode), because the first behaves very differently according to the home and CASE parameters.  The app is the active application (displayed in the title bar) can alter the behavior of premium.  When you know these things, we will be able to discern why you get syntax errors.

If I had to bet, I'd bet a nickel that the problem is due to your first RPN mode.  If so, you must use RPN, not algebraic syntax.  Example: 5_ft, Enter, 1_in, Enter, CONVERT-> 60_in (as well as on your HP 48).  Earn a penny?

DISCLAIMER: I do not work for HP. I'm a happy user of HP Calculator.

  • (Newbie question) Interval syntax question / explanation of the error

Ok. So I reach into a big ticketing system based on Oracle (64 bit 11g 11.2.0.1.0) where they store 'ticket-open-time', 'ticket-fixed-time' and the interval of 'time-to-repair. Initially I wanted to calculate the number of minutes of the time of repair. 6 hours and countless Google searches later, I'm not about to the appropriate syntax. I was able to work around the problem through a simple calculation based on the values open and resolved. What I can't understand, is why I can't apply the same syntax extract just the interval field.

Here's a simplified query that works:

    SELECT
    To_char (OpenTimeGMT, ' ' the HH24: MI: SS DD/MM/YYYY) "OT".
    , TO_CHAR (ResolvedTimeGMT, ' ' the HH24: MI: SS DD/MM/YYYY) "RT".
    , TO_CHAR (TimeToRepairGMT, ' ' the HH24: MI: SS DD/MM/YYYY) "TTR".
excerpt (days of day (ResolvedTimeGMT - OpenTimeGMT) the second) "days".
excerpt (time of day (ResolvedTimeGMT - OpenTimeGMT) the second) "hours."
excerpt ((ResolvedTimeGMT - OpenTimeGMT) minute second day) "Minutes."
    , (extract (day of (ResolvedTimeGMT - OpenTimeGMT) day to second)) * 24 * 60 +.
(extract (hour of the day (ResolvedTimeGMT - OpenTimeGMT) the second)) * 60 +.
extract (minute since (ResolvedTimeGMT - OpenTimeGMT) second day) "TotalMinutes".
    FROM there where

    Which produces:
    [OT] 24/09/2012 20:06:29
    [RT] 26/09/2012 13:56:13
    [TTR] 4000/02/01 17:49:44 - Note the year.
    [Days] 1
    [Hours] 17
    [Minutes] 49
    [TotalMinutes] 2509

    The question:
When I write [extract (minute of day (ResolvedTimeGMT - OpenTimeGMT) the second) "Minutes"], I get 49 minutes I expect

When I write [extract (minute since (TimeToRepairGMT) second day) "Minutes"], I get an error "syntax error was found in the interval value expression.

The three fields are declared as 'date' DESC command (even if TimeToRepairGMT is clearly an interval, based on the value of "4000/02/01 17:49:44" ""). While I can plough with my work-around, I really want to know how to deal with intervals that are stored in Oracle tables as dates. Any help is appreciated!

In fact, it is more likely that it is just a DATE, who got the year wrong somehow. Show how you have assigned values to these columns.

While I can plough with my work-around, I really want to know how to deal with intervals that are stored in Oracle tables as dates. Any help is appreciated!

The intervals are difficult to work. I suggest that you use very little, or not at all. Keep the storage points in time as DATEs, but store the length of the time as a NUMBER; either the number of minutes, hours, or days, depending on what is appropriate for your data and your business needs best.

Let's say you decide to keep TimeToRepair as the number of minutes, the length of time of OpenTImeGMT to ResolvedTimeGMT. When you subtract one DATE from another in Oracle, the result is a NUMBER, the number of days between these two DATEs. To get the number of minutes, which multiplied by the number of minutes per day. So the forumla for TimeToRepair is

    (ResolvedTimeGMT - OpenTimeGMT) * 24 * 60

If you store the length of time as a NUMBER, it is very easy to get totals and averages.

If you want to display this number of minutes like days hours: minutes: seconds, then you can use an INTERVAL, but just for display. Use the NUMTODSINTERVAL function to convert the NUMBER to an INTERVAL DAY TO SECOND:

    NUMTODSINTERVAL (TimeToRepair, 'MINUTE')

    I hope this helps you.
Whenever you have a question, it is useful to show an example of what you have tried and what results you want to get. Post CREATE TABLE and instructions INSERT for examples of data and the results you would get from these data. You will get answers sooner if your question is specific. "How work intervals?" is a very difficult question. Many people who can help you to not trying to answer a question as broad. But if you can formulate your question as: "I need help understanding intervals. Beginning with this data... I tried thinking it would follow... but instead, I got... Why is this? The manual SQL language, to... says..., why is... happening? ", and then it will be easier to help you.

  • DNG Converter error message?

I recently bought a new camera Nikon D7100, not supported by my version of Lightroom (ver 3.6). I downloaded Adobe DNG Converter 7.4.0.137 and managed to convert a little over 1,000 RAW D7100 files. Tonight I inserted the card of the day with a little more than 500 images on this and the converter converted DNG 185 of them without any problem. Image 3186, however, he has begun to deliver the error message in the screenshot below:

    Screen shot 2016-01-25 at 8.11.03 PM.png

I don't think that this is the result of a faulty card because I reinserted the card in the camera and get an overview of all images without problem. Does anyone know what could be the cause? And what can I do about it?

    Thank you!

If your destination for converted DNG files folder is also on the camera card where the originals are, the card can be full and will not accept more images. Make the destination hard drive. Or copy the originals on the hard disk before you run the conversion.

Yes... a bit embarrassing, but on the machine to virtualize, /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny are configured to deny access to the subnet as my ESXi server is on.  After fixing these files and confirming that I can ssh to the machine of my subnet of virtualization, I get this error.

    Concerning

It is an error in the majority of cases (because the application is disabled by default).  Newspapers are more detailed is necessary.

The only case that I saw a difficult question is if the ESX host name have been changed since the ESX 4 OS has been installed.  This means that there is a shift of actual certificate.  You see an error in the Converter Wizard.

Do you get problems when you use the converter?  If so, screen capture and explain the situation.

On the Linux server you are converting.  When the converter reaches step 3 Options display/change the last option is called Helper VM Network.  You can change this option and add an ip address.  The ip address must be on the same network to your default gateway on your Linux server.

    REDA

    Hi reda,.

Cannot get a dynamic conversion. The html export was not successful.

copy the subfolders under necessary/custom/DynamicConverter/lib, so that the HTML conversion process gets access to the class dcexport files.

These files can be obtained from an instance where DC works fine.

Apart from that, you need to install ContentAccess group of hotfixes on your University Complutense of MADRID since changes to the architecture for DC terms now that this component is installed.

Also you can have a read of the Note: 1073153.1 of the errors associated with DC

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you
    Srinath
