  I plug an ASUS GeForce GTX STRIX 750Ti to use in my Pavilion P6 - 2069sc, but when I start the computer after installing my GPU, the screen hangs on the blue HP startup screen.

  When I try to hit the ESC key to enter the BIOS or any other keys it comes just a beep of the machine.

  It is a long beep every 20 seconds or so from the computer.

  When I use the integrated graphics card, everything works as they should.

  Because your computer has been manufacturer Sept 2011, there Legacy BIOS.  The latest vBIOS UEFI was initiated at the HP units at end of 2012.  That said, either you stay with a Legacy BIOS GPU card, or choose a dual hybrid card BIOS.  The GTX 660, or GTX 670, all of which are two high-end of the legacy card would be far superior to the GTX 750Ti.   All the current hype is looking for a lower quality card, the 750Ti, based on the more low power and some GTX offering a BIOS hybrid via Select manufacturer. The Asus could not be hybrids, as you can testify.

  Based on your existing new POWER Pack, (hopefully a quality unit), 660 GTX would be good.  In my humble OPINION, an EVGA GTX 660 is better based on your power supply of the system. Please call EVGA for re - check a Legacy BIOS.

  Hi, wondering for a while if someone can help me...

  My xp system will not load past the Blue error screen that is displayed when the computer stopped suddenly or inadequate.

  No matter what are the measures that you choose to take (safe mode, the most recent configurations... etc) the system will just beyond the blue screen on the windows logo download page, where the loading bar moves about 10 seconds before returning to the blue loading page.

  So far I have tried to leave the computer as long as an unused months while I was abroad, remove the battery for varying amounts of time and leaving the computer as long as a day.

  In the absence of a recovery disk, I have no idea how to do to return to the form and would like to receive advice or suggest, keeping in mind I'm not a computer genius (if had'nt you may have guessed). Preferably, without losing my element pictures and videos stored on the hard drive, but it's just preference.

  It does not seem good friend if the Windows operating system does not start even using safe mode, then I don t think you will be able to run the operating system without new OS reinstallation. :(

  To back up data from the HARD drive I recommend that you connect the internal HARD drive to external USB HDD controller and a backup of the HARD drive on another computer.

  I finally managed to fix the problem by the chance. I had discovered that this problem was caused by the sypnatics of the laptop touchpad driver. Uninstalled A & reinstall it with the correct driver from the laptop manufacturer websites. Did not expect that it is the cause of all the problems. Thank you for your valuable advice.

  You can see if you can install a Sata addon hard drive controller card. There are some of them which are not very expensive. There is of course no guarantee that it would work.

  If the disk controller hard motherboard is defective, then the original hard disk can still be good.

• You can save a broken computer? My computer does NOT start after the blue hp screen.

  In the past months, my computer has been the object of a freezing randomly, and Ctrl + Alt + Delete does not work. I stopped him via the power button. I force close down as one normally do, and the computer does not start and displays the same black screen and the same fan/air weird sound. I stopped him and I hit the side RIGHT this time, I think and when I turn on the computer, the usual blue HP screen appears with the establishment, boot, diagnostics and system recovery things. HOWEVER, after this screen, a black screen will appear with this weird blue symbol on the upper left corner, I have never seen this and it looks like a circle with a triangle and a Pentagon below and it remains essentially on this screen forever. When I try to hit the establishment, boot, diagnostics and the shortcuts to system recovery, on the lower left side of the screen, it says "Menu boot loading...". ' or whatever the shortcut of loading represents, but nothing ever happens. When I press the other keys, this tapping noise comes from the computer at each tap of the keyboard.
