    Problem with CD-ROM!

Hello, before a few months my cd-rom doesn't work properly, one of these days, I decided to install the new game, and it shows that my cd-rom will not read the disc!
OK, I thought: Maby the cd is damaged in anyway so I'll put another cd to see if the problem persists, I had a new cd empty and rolled on the cd-rom and waited but nothing showed... I searched some tips on this problem and here's what I did:
    1. clean the pc with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Norton.
    2. re-installed CD-ROM drive (HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT30N)
3 downloaded Fixit and troubleshooted CD with it, it says that the disc was not readable, anyway I know it's readable!
    4. download CDCheck and checked the E: pilot, it is what comes out of http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/8175/48433351.jpg

  • TX - trying to install a few games

Sorry I'm new to all this and usually does not need help, but it confused me. I bought a few games to put on my Palm TX, but the installer tells me that I have to put them on a map, so I put the card in the TX and tried to install via hot sync but he won't do it, because there is no application on my handheld that will open these files - I have something put on my TX to do? I can't put games on my TX as I did other palm pilots before - I don't ' know why, but the installation program tells me that the games are go on a card, not your handheld itself. ??? Help please.

What format are the downloads?  They are in the .zip format?  If so, you must "unpacking" the zip file compressed to find the right Palm files.  Most will include a "Readme" file with installation instructions.

  • Operating system does not (error) after installing a new power supply

My Thermaltake 480 ran only 2, 6V on the 3, 3V line and gave me problems with my screen. I installed a new 500W Thermaltake now my OS will not charge.  Enter the bios isn't a problem. But then I get a normal system beep and error loading OS.

I was extremely careful about static electricity. All cables are connected properly as far as I know. When I turned on the switch on the back of food, my computer immediately without pushing me the normal power button in front of the computer. I have been concerned about a power surge when it happened and maybe it's the cultrit?

In addition to losing some files (please no speech backup), I hate having to reinstall my OS and must go through installing all my programs.

    Any suggestions?

There is no way that a new PS should affect your boot process, if it is installed correctly. Back in the PC and check all of your connections. You have either loose something in, connected it backwards or completely missed. If necessary, disconnect everything and start again.

When you go into the BIOS, your hard drives and optical appear actually? They appear on the screen of your POSITION (if it is not disabled in the BIOS)?

  • Inspiron 2650 'View System Info' not see newly installed memory

You wanted to spend this memory to laptop to hand to his grandchildren.  Original Config: 128 M RAM 128 M plus additional system in the "support extensible user."    After checking with Dell, I ordered a key of 256 M to replace the 128 in the decision-making of the user.

'View system information' in 'My computer' has not seen the new memory.  Reference called Dell.  They said they had sent me the wrong memory.  I now have the correct memory for shipping.  Meanwhile, I reinstalled the old stick of 128 M.  'View system information' reports STILL 128M.

My question: do you think that the system actually USES the 256 origin but only REPORTING 128.  Or what the hell is happening?  Is there another place (in addition to seeing the news system) to see what resources are actually on board and used?
