T410 - devices without drivers
Hi guys, I just did a clean install on my T410 (Type: 2537 RY9) and I have 2 unmanned devices which are:
- Base system device
- Network controller
Im working on Win 7 x 64.
I think that the absence of these factors is causing my LAN to do not be able to connect properly. Can someone show me where I can find the drivers above? Thank you very much!
Hi flem_power,
Have you tried to install and run the system update 4? Update system should give you the possibility to download and install the drivers for your computer and should correct the missing drivers. It will also give you options to download and install other drivers and software from Lenovo. Just make sure that you use the update of system 4.0 for Windows 7 and earlier versions.
Here is the link to download and install the update system 4:

I know that in the past with other computers laptops lenovo, you must install a fix/patch before you can to get the device recognized by drivers. Anyone know if this is the case or what drivers, this could be?

T410S frezze problem. (I read all related to theme and using latest drivers)
Hi all, I bought a new T410s in Lenovo U.S. online store in January 2011.
T410s 2901 CTO
i5 560M
4G of RAM * 1 (by myself added an another 4G)
Intel SSD 160G
Switchable GPU / Intel HD + NVS3100M
Multi touch screen
Gobi2000 3G WWAN card.
Intel 6200 AGN WIFI card.
OS: Windows 7 x 64
configuration of base as above.
I have a problem of frezze despaired of the T410S. It's totally random. When it's happened, everything is frezzed and the computer is totally dead.
I read the related topics in this forum, my T410s overheat issue, when it is using integrated graphics, the CPU card
temperature is about 50 c/122 ° f, the fan speed is about 3000.
I also installed last site of form lenovo drivers and BIOS of the machine is v1.41.
I tried:
Remove the 4G memory that added by myself. -No effect
Disable switchable graphics card BIOS. -No effect
help ~ please ~ BCZ it's a new machine, I won't ask for lenovo to replace the motherboard.
Any suggestions?
I have one of these T410s. He did action gel several times last December. What I did I thought he was the pilot chart + audio driver, because when sometimes a film/youtube is played, it freezes.
I did download the relevant drivers from the Intel Web site. Then use the device drivers to uninstall lenovo those. Reboot, it will show a screen very ugly as the default resolution of window 7 is low res. find intel drivers and install it, reboot.
If that fails, uninstall the audio driver and use the default window 7 (from windows update).

T410 - cannot connect to internet (wireless)
Hello world
I have a new Lenovo T410 (used). In the first 2/3 weeks, everything was fine. The computer was installing updates whenever I turned it on, however, any problem. However last week I'm more available to connect to the internet through wireless connections. The button on the right side of the computer is turned on, but on the dial-up connections, the message is this: '' no wireless adapters found'. I have an another Lenovo (T450) and I can access the internet via my wireless network.
Please find below links to 2 images describing the problem. Anyone know how to solve the problem?

Thanks in advance.
Hello, mgomes021
On your laptop network card drivers do not work correctly a reason any, or wired Ethernet or the wireless. It is the main cause of the connection problem. I guess an other laptop drivers needs are not installed.
Launch application ThinkVantage System Update on the support site, it will find the drivers and updates for your laptop, let application to download and install those at least critically.

Vertical T410 'bright' bar on the screen (regardless of OS)
Hi all
Today, this bar "brilliant" has appeared on the screen of my T410:
and it's NOT the camera plays up.
What is the LCD screen about to die as it also happens inside the BIOS where supposedly no drivers are installed? It's time for a replacement under warranty? (It's under a deposit of 3 years guarantee)
Thank you

Your LCD is not about to die, but he certainly needs replacement under warranty.

T410 USB Ports not working not
Hello, I would just start by saying I am new here and I'm not too aware of the label, so I apologize in advance.
I bought a 2522EC8 from Lenovo Thinkpad T410 manufacturer refurbished a few days ago. My USB ports are simply not what either. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers. The only sign ports USB show is when I plug in my mouse, the mouse lights up, but it does not actually work. When I look in disk management, the only drives that appear are reserved system, drive C: and D: drive.
I don't know what other information I need to provide, so thank you for the advice on that. Thank you!
Thanks Mithun, none of the four worked at all ports. I had checked the BIOS, plugged and replugged multiple different devices USB, uninstalled/resintalled drivers, downloaded the chipset drivers all. Nothing has worked. I ended up simply return the laptop. Thank you for your answer!

Windows XP on T410 - pilot unknown
Hello
I installed Windows XP on my T410 (2537 - 25G)
I've got 3 unknown devices.
PCI serial port
PCI Simple Communications controller
unknown device.
No idea this here.
Thank you
Joe.
Hi montepe,
This should fix both the PCI Simple Communication and the PCI SERIAL controller:
http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/document.do?sitestyle=Lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-74374
I believe that the unknown device is the TPM module and if that's right, this is the driver you need:
http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/document.do?sitestyle=Lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-74404
Please let us know if these drivers solved the problem.

Hardware problem potential keyboard T410
Hi all
Since yesterday I was faced with a problem with my T410, which is potentially due to
a problem of material with the keyboard.
A few specific keys don't work anymore. These seem to be the key to turning the power on, the Fn key.
the Alt Gr key and the ThinkVantage button.
I guess it's a hardware keyboard problem, since I can't use the Power On button for
start the laptop. Fortunately, it is possible using the marketing of the fingerprint reader.
When the laptop is running (using Windows 7) everything works fine, except the cited
buttons. I can't access any functions of the keys (e.g., the reading light) Fn or Alt-Gr symbols (eg.
the symbol that is on my keyboard press 2 @) or power down with the power button.
I tried various easy fixes:
* By ensuring all drivers are up-to-date
* Remove and replace the keyboard
* Static discharge procedure (unplug all power, 10 presses and holding of 30 sec of power button / stop)
Check the Bios settings
* Replace the battery
* ...
Unfortunately, it has not changed the situation.
I wonder if the simultaneous malfunction of these specific buttons pointing to a certain
hardware problem. I hope a replacement of the keyboard can solve this problem, but it could be a
problem with the motherboard.
Advice would be welcome.
Thank you
HD
It's hard to say, it could be the motherboard (more unlikely). But more likely it is the keyboard that plays up. The keyboard is least expensive to test for specific problems that you mentioned in the T410, so it's the most cost-effective test for fault case.

T410 built in Firefox printing
Hello
We decided to plug in 2 of our T410 Smart zero Clients directly to broadband, so that members of the public can access an online form in our reception area.
so the cliet starts directly at the building in the web browser (firefox)
Is it possible to connect a usb printer and print directly from firefox? If so, how?
the printer is recognized within the parameters of clients (devices/usb Manager), but is not available when you print from the browser.
I'm guessing it's to do with drivers printer or lack of them.
Anyone can shed some light?
Thank you

ThinkPad T410 boots only if the power supply is plugged
Hello
I have a really strange bug. My thinkpad T410 (2537-UQF) with an OCZ Vertex 3 SSD boots only if the power supply is connected. If I have a full battery, and try to boot without the power I get a blue screen after about 60 seconds on the screen where the windows logo appears. I have Windows 7 installed fresh a few days ago.
I think its possible, I've done a few failure with drivers. The power management ThinkPad always stops working after startup. So I deleted the program using the feature "msconfig".
I'm not really sure what I can do about it. Any idea?
Thanks for any answers in advance & regards
Rain
OK I solved the problem:
The workaround is to set to battery power settings in the BIOS to auto. If the power in the Bios settings are on maximum battery life, the system does not start if you use the SSD OCZ Vertex 3.
Hope this helps everyone who has the same problem. I need 4 days to understand this.
Greetings, rain
