I think to upgrade my HP ENVY dv6 Notebook PC (serial number: product [personal information deleted]: C2Y41AV) screen, hd version with a full hd variation and also a new backlid keyboard, the mine's regular keyboard. I don't want demolishing the pc to know that I ordered the parts and they are not compatible. I tried to get into the user part, but I get an error:

  And cannot find the parts I wanto to replace, in the way I'm supposed to. I was able to do last week, but don't think that the page would come down so, I did not write the numbers down. I know that you are looking for parts was successful and I am in the list the regular parties as well as those that I want to upgrade the laptop with.  The problem is:

  (a) cannot determine the witch parts to order more.

  (b) in the page is not displayed if I buy other additional documents to those that I needed. IE: cables, etc.

  (c) where I can send the parts and where I can order and how to pay for them.

  (d) if there is a technician or a certified staff, I can contact for comprehensive services.

  You see, the problem is I bought this laptop a long time ago, and already it got replaced due speaker and fan, so the warranty problems made me a new (this product). But I noticed 3 small details on the screen and not complained of the fact that I've already lost 3 months of work in addition to 1 job offer and did couldn t afford to keep so just used the laptop as if it were on vacacions unpayed.

  Now, I thought to upgrade rather than buy the same hand he already has.

  TLDR

  Need to know if my WANT of HP dv6 Notebook PC (serial number: 2CE3090ZS3 product: C2Y41AV) can be improved with the full keyboard apart and backlit ranging from hd without the need of other parts.

All people of material, I spoke so far were pretty negative, but what they said seems to me just a case of replacing the LVDS cable (standard will not support 1080 p, which, if true, leaves me speechless around) then replace the current screen by a 1080 p with appropriate physical characteristics (correct size screw fixing positions (, the position of the connector, etc.). Anyone has experience to do or have relevant knowledge to share? It is my first attempt to upgrade a laptop screen, so any help welcome.

  I have a T430, the display is faulty, when I looked for a replacement for where I am, I could not find T430, I found only T430s replacement screen.

  Two portable computers use the large number of the same panels, at least 9 of the 14 of the T430 parts list.
  So, connectors and interface signals are the same.

  Preinstall Windows 7-> Recovery media creadted-> upgraded to Windows 8-> Windows.old folder have been deleted-> trying to downgrade to Windows 7 using Recovery-> failed to retrieve media!

  As you mention that you created the recovery media and it fails to restore your system with Win7 preload delivered, I would recommend that you contact the Service, let them know that your created set failed to work and ask that they provide you with a set of factory recovery DVDs. The details are below.

  As I said the computer cable is the same for HD and FHD (one cable) panels. The Group of experts said is compatible according to the list on the Web page. So no problems, you can upgrade your screen.

I'm sure that a slab TN fits (I guess that Lenovo do not have a chassis of different screen according to the type of screen)? I wonder if it is possible to replace TN with an IPS a slab?   All screens laptops use very standard panels. As a pro, you NEED a sreen right for your business, I'm talking about 4 screens of $ figure here.   Kelly, welcome to the forum.

  Drivers update is a maintenance procedure.  They should be updated as soon as they are available.  You can run Windows Update, update HP to obtain the latest drivers, and other updates.

  Hi, I'm new to the forum so please, be gentle. I have a Dell e6420 i7 nvidia4200 and an evo pro 1 TB samsung. I bought a whole new screen touch LG HD and installed, the image is much better, but I'm having a real difficult time getting the touch at work! What I did to get the correct driver I sent a message to a seller on eBay who sells a model touch screen and asked them the serial number in the hope that I could get the drivers from dell Web site, but... When I try to install it says that it cannot install because my laptop is not x 86, I managed to get the human interface, through administrative tools/services, but there is no option to boot the usb interface? Do I need a new Ribbon for the screen (the one that supports the touch) or all Ribbons are the same? does anyone know of a work around please? I would be eternally grateful.

  PS I am happy to give a 'finders fee' if anyone can find me the right driver or information to make it work
