T430 screen - lines/points

My 3 month old T430 worked very well until this afternoon.
Now my screen looks like this:

BBCode (forums of discussion & forums)
[IMG] http://i.imgur.com/h0KmyT4.jpg [line]

I'm not able to boot in the bios. I have also connected to the tv (vga) and it shows the same thing. Once she showed
the connection, but it was like just for a second and returned to points and lines.

Is this a common problem?

Thank you very much for your comments, I appreciate it.

Receipt back to the center of service today. They replaced the screen and the display cable. Works fine now.

    Hello

I have a big problem with my laptop. There are thin lines, thickness, colors on my screen and some of them disappears when I turn it on. My warranty expired about 7 months ago and I was wondering if I still have the right to extend my warranty for this laptop? Once it is extended, if no repair is required they will do it again for free?

    Thank you for your help

    Hello

I put t think that your can save the laptop for the extended warranty.
In my view, the standard warranty must be valid if you want to extend the warranty.
But I think that the service point in your country can give you more details about the warranty policy.

But the lines also appear on the external monitor?

  • Sony Xperia Z5 Premium screen pixelated when the landscape and square on screen grid points.

When I turn on my new Sony Xperia Z5 Premium landscape mode, I can vaguely see a lot of horizontal and vertical lines on the screen.
But when I shoot in portrait mode, you can't really see them more

I tried the 4K images and video to see if it was only a matter of scale down, but it wans't ' t. Even at 4K, I always saw them.

Finally, I used a magnifying glass, just to make sure I wasn't seeing things, and I, they were much more noticeable under the magnifying glass.

It's rather annoying. I want to watch YouTube or websites in landscape mode, but the screen will look pixelated. Reminds me of the old QVGA screens. Loses clarity and crispness of images, videos, etc.

In addition, it seems to be points, LEDs, I don't really know what they are, in the screen of my phone, without worrying if my phone is turned on or off. They can be seen when the light is reflected by the screen. I did not have this problem on my Z1 or Z Ultra.

If it's a screen defect, please let me know, so I can return the phone while it is still brand new condition.

    Thank you

    Hi guys,.

That's right, the lines are the digitizer behind the glass and is present on all Xperia devices and visible on different angles.

  • Satellite x 205-S9800 - jagged on screen lines

I have a x 205-S9800 Satellite. I use this PC mainly for gaming.

I keep all my drivers updated. The standard toshiba nvidia driver has had his most recent update in 2008.
However, my games don't run as smooth as it should with this system with the specifications that it does.
I went to the nvidia site and download the latest driver for my system software.
Now, my games work better than ever, much more smooth than they were with the driver of toshiba, BUT I get random graphic anomaly on my screen where 2/3 of my screen will look like serrated lines.

All icons, etc., located in this 2/3 of the screen to look as if they are diced upward while the other 1/3 will look completely normal.
To remedy this, I have restart my computer. This effect is completely random and can usually occur during any activity.
When you use the nvidia toshiba driver but my games are so slow and Lag I'm lucky to pull 20 frames per second.

I wouldn't go back to using the driver toshiba given that my games are not even worth running when you use it.
If this sounds like a driver problem or a hardware problem?

Maybe nVidia drivers caused the failed system?

If you reinstall the original Toshiba drivers, do you still see the irregular line?

  • Broken on my Qosmio laptop screen lines

I can see dotted red on my screen during startup and it boot completely doesn t.
Can u attend to this problem?

Had the same problem with vertical blue lines dotted on a Qosmio G30 (PQG - 30F). Doesn't seem to be a problem with the hardware screen so that when the machine starts in mode safe lines missing.

I tried to run the product recovery CD, it seems to work ok, but when I reboot the blue machine screens to halfway through loading Windows. Safe mode does not either and there are vertical blue dotted on the monitor (but not on the BACK of screen that invites to indicate the mode without failure or normal boot etc.).

  • T430 and T430s screen connector

    Hi all

I have a T430, the display is faulty, when I looked for a replacement for where I am, I could not find T430, I found only T430s replacement screen.

The T430 and T430s, the same screen connectors?

    Kind regards

    Osama

    Hello and welcome, osrashad

Two portable computers use the large number of the same panels, at least 9 of the 14 of the T430 parts list.
So, connectors and interface signals are the same.

  • T430 screen upgrade?

Is it possible to uprade HD T430 display it on a HD screen +?

It is certainly "technically" possible. You replace the Panel and cable. This is not a replaceable part by the customer, then you can affect the warranty status. Fuse backlight on this model is VERY easy to blow, so make sure that the battery is removed, and you are grounded. Also, I suggest to unplug the cable from the motherboard before working behind the Panel. It would be bad to blow your motherboard.

  • How can I change the color of the plots (lines, points) in the collection Scattergraph plot

For example, I go through a foreach loop and draw two points. How to distinguish this set of plots of the yet to come? How can I change the style, color and have separate lines (instead of on the line connecting everything) for each of my plots? I don't know how to set everything up, but it still does what he wants to do. TIA.

    Hello

The problem you see occurs because of the following lines of code:

The _data and _data2 scatterPlot3 value

    _data = scatterPlot3

    _data2 = scatterPlot3

When you do this, you define _data as _data2 to reference an object of the simple concession - scatterPlot3.  Yes, even if you have (from the code you have posted at least) three slots in your collection, they are all pointing to the same object of point cloud.  So when you change the color for one, it changes the color for them all.  However, I think that you have fallen on the right solution in your last sentence.  If you want to have multiple locations on your ScatterGraph, each with its own color and style, they should each be separate and unique plots in the collection plot of your ScatterGraph.  Based on the code you posted, you'll see this if you comment just the two lines shown above.

Please let me know if something is still uncertain.

  • Vista hangs at the Welcome screen, restore points have been removed. Any help?

I've had trouble with this during about a week now. For reference, it seemed to just happen out of the blue - have not installed new drivers or hardware (to my knowledge). In addition, tried a restore a few weeks ago point and seemed to work... once. Now I can't explain it, but all the restore points have been removed too!

I'm not an expert, but I try to tackle these things and could help. Here's what I've done so far:

    -successfully started in safe mode.
    -Open "msconfig".

-tried to narrow down the suspects with Services' first.
    -Disabled all "Services".
    -Restarted and restarted successfully.
-Tried to reactivate Services' one by one.

-I got to the reactivation of service 'IKE and AuthIP IPsec keying modules' and restarted. Met again hung up on the Vista Welcome screen.
    -Restarted in safe mode.
-Disabled the "IKE" service... ». Restarted fine.
-Repeat the re - turn on and off cycle again, has got the hang up once more for good measure.
-Re-enabled all services except the "IKE" service... "and rebooted fine. Working on the computer now. [Dell Inspiron E1505 Laptop, running Vista SP 2 with 2 GB RAM]

Did some research on this service and I was wondering if it is an essential service that I should be running (see link below).

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc733299%28WS.10%29.aspx

I've saved personal files and try to avoid restarting own Vista, although whereas wiping and running Linux if possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Viza,
I got exactly the same problem on Inspiron 1501 a parent who tried to correct - i.e. problem hanging welcome screen. I have just updated the drivers wireless to the support.dell.com site and have had 3 reboots success in a row, which is 2 more that I could realize by adjusting the parameters of startup using MSCONFIG. Interest how did you decide to update the wireless drivers?

During the game Fallout New Vegas, the computer froze. I was forced to turn off the power switch. When I rebooted it was blue in dotted lines that go up and down the screen vertically then it bluescreened. The blue screen says that 'nvlddkm.sys' was responsible for which is something to do with my graphics card driver.

I tried to boot into safe mode and uninstall the drivers and the device manager card and reinstalled everything but it kept happening.

  • Screen line is missing, cut through the ink levels. Office Jet 6500, 709

Does anyone know how to fix the contrast on my front screen where it shows the ink levels, time? Two lines disappeared shortly after I got this printer and it is sometimes difficult to read ink levels when the level is just where these two lines are missing. These two missing LCD lines go all the way across the screen from left to right. Thanks for any help.

Looks like the LCD screen is broken.  It is really not that you can do to solve this problem.  Really only three things I can think might fix.  One is an update of the firmware.  To get/check the firmware, click on this link, select your operating system, click Next, under step two click firmware in firmware, click the link and on the next page, click Download.  Run the utility that downloads and it will check the firmware and allow you to update if it's outdated.

If the firmware doesn't fix it, the next step is going to be a hard reset.  Just, a hard reset Erases RAM on the printer, but retains all of the user settings.

    To do a hard reset:

    1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.
    2. Pull out the power cord from the printer.
    3. Pull out the power cord from the wall.
    4. Wait 30 seconds.
    5. Plug everything high and trun on the printer.

If the hard reset does not work, the next thing to try is a partial reset.  A partail reset will reset all the settings of the printer and return the printer to factory setting.

    To make a partial reset:

    1. Follow steps 1 through 4 above, but will not go past step 4.
    2. Plug the power cord into the wall, but connect are not in the printer.
    3. Press and hold the # and 3 buttons.
    4. While maintaining the 3 and # buttons, taken the printer back in.
    5. When you see lights up, release the buttons.

If the partial reset doesn't fix it, it won't be fixed.  I'm sorry.
