I want a screen that rivals the retina of imac. the one I currently takes to long to edit because I guess where I think that changes must be made, and then send the picture to my iphone to see what it has changed again. I calabrated the screen with an x-rite color Gerard, who helped but still no where near where I need whether.  Its a POS of windows 8 and the model is a Pavilion

Hello

All screens laptops use very standard panels. As a pro, you NEED a sreen right for your business, I'm talking about 4 screens of $ figure here. I have set the screen resolution, reinstalled the latest driver. but still the screen is not displayed in full screen. If I install Windows Xp, then the display is in full screen mode. How can I get a display full screen with windows 7?

    Hello

I suggest you to check if the steps help.

In Windows 7, click on the F11 key at the top of your keyboard. This will make Windows return a mode full-screen.

To cancel the mode full-screen and window restoration to normal display, press the Esc (Escape) key at the top of your keyboard.

Check your graphics card catalyst Center and change the settings from there.

I also suggest you go through the help article and check that it helps.

  • It is not possible to use "Show pointer" on 7-inch screens.

It is not possible to use "Show pointer" on 7-inch screens. The second pointer on the left, who would normally stimulate the ALT is not visible. The pointer is hidden behind the left hand tool bar! I use Photoshop Touch on a 7¹³ of Nexus and I, it's a great software and it became even more impressive if that problem is fixed ;-)

I can't repro this on my Nexus 7 2013 I can see the 'hold' in the bottom icon to the left, but it is a bit hidden by the icon 'redo '. I can still tap to finish the operation, even if I can do it again.

I was also able to get around by touching the icon screen, 1st icon from the upper right. This allows a full view of the "hold" icon

Top of page compatible processor is

  • Pavilion dv6t-7000 Quad Editio: upgrade screen 1366 x 768 to 1080 p

Look at page 28 of the manual even. HD and FHD panels using a different cable, so we know that your cable for the 1366 x 768 will not work on an FHD 1920 x 1080 screen. You can try to order the set of HP.  I ran among the FHD on HP Partsurfer Assembly part numbers and they are not in stock. To do this, the much cheaper is to order only the FHD Panel on eBay and order the right cable separately.

The right cable part number is 682057-001 and HP has it in stock at $52:

    FHD cable for Intel processors.

I couldn't find the FHD cable anywhere else.

Then, you can save money on the Panel by buying it on eBay for around $75:

    http://www.eBay.com/ITM/15-6-WUXGA-led-screen-for-HP-682090-001-/161575189357?PT=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item259ea1bb6d

$125 dollars or more to move to a screen 1920 x 1080 is probably cheaper than we thought it would be. If HP had the whole Assembly, it would be more than $200. If you are outside the United States, after back and we can try some other sources.

Personally, I like the matte screens. Glossies and mattes are the same panels. Glossies are less expensive because they actually just leave off the coast of the last stage of the application of the coating material Panel quality varies a bit in order to get shiny screens shabby and pathetic of the matte screens. On ebay, I buy only sellers with high feedback and sales figures and usually get good quality panels. I've probably changed in recent years on mobile billboards to a hundred, and I like to think that I know how to get them as cheap as possible.

  • HP Pavilion p6210y: Office flashing after upgrade Windows 10

I have a flashing desktop (goes black and office) after upgrade to Windows 10.  Once connected, it is fine for about 10-15 seconds, then it starts flashing. I couldn't do anything - click on anything except CTRL-ALT-DEL to go to the Task Manager.

I did the upgrade 2 x already. Before my first attempt, I do nothing with my PC - I did not update the driver. When I arrived the office flashing after improvement, I panicked and immediately brought back to Windows 7. I was able to get to the window of recovery during the period of 10-15 seconds just after the connection. Fortunately, he returned to Windows 7.

After the first test, I read a little about the similar problem and so I tried some of the proposed solutions - update the drivers on my PC, to disable reporting services Windows (all on 10 to win), to try to go to Safe Mode.

So I tried again. I updated all the things I can to update (for most drivers) before the upgrade. Do you have PC Clean up. I had the office flashes again. It's the same thing. So while they are flashing, I tried to disable the windows reporting services that is very difficult to do with the Office of flashing. He did nothing clearly. So I went in Mode without failure. After starting in safe mode, I got the normal screen for about 5 seconds, but a blue window quickly flashed and then the desktop on Mode without failure just turned black, only the visible cursor.

So, I rolled back to Windows 7 new.

I don't have a lot of things/programs on my PC that I uninstall programs right away if I know that I will not use. I do scan of cleaning/Virus from PC on a regular basis.

    Information about my machine:

    HP Pavilion p6210y

    Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit

    Video card: NVIDIA GEForce 9100

All the suggestions/help will be very appreciated.

The only thing that solved the issue is reset my machine while keeping my personal files.

I've never understood what really caused it.

Thus, after the upgrade when the screen is flashing, I have reset the PC.

    What is more likely?

Is my video card failure? Or could it be the motherboard?

It's probably your video card or your RAM. I have a link to the video card that would work on your power supply (300W). http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16814132026. I looked at the specs of your model. How much RAM you have on your machine? I would recommend that you upgrade the ram just in case.

    Hello:

I can't find any specs on that you bought it from memory.

Your PC will run from 8 GB of memory, but you must be careful as to what memory you select.

You must get the PC3-10600 (1333 MHz) memory and it must be of low density.

You can't get PC3-10660 or PC3-10666 memory and cheap will be high density and will not work in any case in your laptop.

You can see this related posts with someone who had the same problem, and when he bought the good memory, his problem was gone.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/hardware-upgrades-replacements/dv6t-3000-RAM-upgrade/m-p/2492127#M17965

I think you bought PC3-12800 memory and this is probably the high density - two bad things.

  • Pavilion P6630: Failure of RAM upgrade

    I have a HP Pavilion P6630 with 2 x 2 GB DDR3 - 667 MhZ sticks inside (factory standard).

According to information I found on the motherboard in combination with my Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - Bit, support maximum memory is 16 GB.

So, I advanced and bought 2 x DDR 4 GB 1333 MhZ (PC3-10600 Dimm). Once again, according to the information I have found on the HP site when I looked up my model.

When I took the original poles of the blue orbits (M4 + M2) and replaced by my new, the computer is stuck on the "intro" screen (where it says press F10 to enter the BIOS). He didn't get into the BIOS, it of just sitting there and did nothing.

From there, I tried all possible options:
Put the old back and added the new in the empty slots, leading to the computer going on market and stop and and and...

New sticks seem to work because the system recognizes in M3, M4 and M1, M2 of installation. Here is the single channel configurations, however. And once again, when in these slots, the system go away and start and stop.

As already said: I tried all possible combinations of old and new and locations, but there is really only one that works: my two older in their original blue locations.

I did a reset of the CMOS and I took out the battery for half an hour. No results.

And Yes: I push the sticks in lampholders enough far, etc.

I'm desperate! Hope someone can help me.

The trick to a successful upgrade memory is:

Memory modules is not not the sellers have to sell with the HP published specifications of the motherboard requirements. It is a strategy to upgrade memory that quite often results in disappointment and a situation of no bootable.

Purchase of memory modules that are guaranteed compatible memory manufacturers. If possible, stick with the manufacturers of memory known as Crucial, G.Skill, Kingston, Hynix, just to name a few.

Add memory to the memory modules already installed unless you are absolutely identical to the original modules in all respects.

Memory manufacturers use configuration utilities on their corporate Web sites.
