  But to be honest, I doubt that this could solve your problem, because to me, it looks like a hardware related issue.

  If you have some problems with some Toshiba applications installed, I recommend you to reinstall the program and TOSHIBA common Modules that doesn t work properly!

  I suggest you reinstall the drivers for the tablet on the computer by visiting the manufacturer of the Tablet and check if it helps.

  All devices are properly recognized in Device Manager? Did you check that?

  As far as I know, you need to install or update the driver Dual Touch. This dirver is for screen digitizer and touchscreen model. It enables the feature that the Tablet PC pen or a finger can be used as a pointing device.
  You can download this driver on the Toshiba site.

  The touch screen of my HP Omni 10 5600ea Tablet stopped working again. A Windows 8 previous restoration and installation of the graphics driver temporarily solved the problem when it happened before, but now it's happened again and I don't want to have to restore my computer every time that happens. Please give me a permanent solution to this problem. I tried to reinstall the graphics driver and updated the bios without result.

  I did a clean install of Windows 8 on a X220t.  Since the initial start, using a finger on the touch screen worked correctly.  You might drag on the edges, show the charms, arrange windows, scrolling, etc.  You might even see microsoft faint "tracer", following the movement of your finger on the screen.

  Once I installed the windows updates and updated system Thinkvantage, the possibility for the acts suddenly disappeared.  Now, you can use your finger to move the cursor of the mouse around, but gestures don't work.   You use the stylus for input, you can however make the sweeping gestures.  What gives?  I uninstalled all drivers I could find, but it has not solved the problem.  I uninstalled all HID devices and let them detect again and still same.

  Then I tried the wacom specific windows 7 drivers, windows drivers 8 and lenovo windows 7 drivers and are slow to return it works correctly with the help of the finger.

  Under Tablet and PC settings, it shows 'pen and touch support limited '.   I really want to start from scratch and go by driver to know that which blitzed it or I'll get a finger gesture to teach my own windows. :-)

  PROBLEM SOLVED:

  I used a copy of Windows 8 Pro system manufacturer.  Apparently, this version does not support multitouch on devices if the drivers of contact are not Microsoft Certified.

  I bought a windows key "retail" Pro 8, made a re-activation of the key system, does not have one thing or move any software, just rebooted and now hop, everything works fine.

• X 60 Tablet does not respond to stylus on Windows 7 entries

  Last week I installed Windows 7 Ultimate (full license) in a dual-boot on the side of the original OS Windows Vista Business configuration. After using Windows Update and Lenovo system update 4.0, most of the functions work well, accept for entry of stylus (in portable mode, or in tablet mode). I checked if everything still works on Windows Vista and it does. But in Win 7, it won't recognize the pen or entry of the finger. There is no device errors or warnings.

  Another important change is that I switched from ZoneAlarm Internet Security Norton Internet Security 2010 (including Norton Utilities) (used in Win Vista) in Windows 7.

  I tried to find the right driver on the Lenovo support site and searched via Google and in this forum but could not find a suitable solution for my setup. Some threads in this forum mentioned using Wacom drivers, but they don't seem to support Windows 7.

  Anyone of you have an idea what to do? I appreciate your help.

  Hi all

  It took some time to find the solution that works for my system. I came across a Windows message that I was informed that my system needed a Wacom Enhanced graphics driver update (check http://www.wacom.com/tabletpc/driver.cfm). After the installation of this driver, my screen now responds to the pen and finger touches. Finally it works now as it used to be in Windows Vista.

  I know that Adobe have stopped just ps touch, but probably I should still be able to use it?
