Tandberg profile 52 TMS device added

Friends,

I have a challenge by adding Tandberg profile 52 double at TMS and get the error "object reference not set to an instance of an object".

TMS is running on 13.X

Profiel is on Tc3.1.1

but we have the same combination of features added in TMS already.

Thank you

I saw this stack trace once before, and that's when you try to add a system that had been previously recorded and then deleted (not purged). Could you take a look and see if anyone tried to pre-register to MSDS?

And as Manu says: as soon as you migrated to TMSPE, consider upgrading to TMS 14.1.1 where we have improved the error handling when adding systems.

Kind regards

Kjetil

  • Cisco TMS device virtualization

We will virtualize the TMS device to a virtual machine, but had a few questions regarding the parameters:

    1. are there things that I have to watch what is using the same IP address?

Let's change the name of TMS

    2. do I need generate a CSR that is new for a certificate, once I have install TMS on the new VM?

    I guess that Yes

    3. should I stop replication on our control VCS and highway regarding MSDS?

    4. any other telepresence infrastructure changes I have to make before you migrate the virtual server?

    1. Are there any things I need to watch out for in regards to using the same IP address?

We will be changing the name of TMS

You change the domain name FULL of server TMS, or do you mean that the actual name of the server is changing?  As long as you do not change the IP/domain name FULL you'll be fine with respect to systems added to the MSDS.  If you change the name of the server, you'll want to change it in the TMS using TMS tools.  See the most recent Administrator's guide, that I don't remember the name of the option.

    2. Do I need to generate a new CSR for a certificate once I install TMS on the new VM?

    I assume yes

We use a wildcard certificate, so we are able to download the same certificate on all our servers no matter what they are as long as they use our domain.  Depends on your configuration.  Unless I understand this question, that I can't have the certificates for our group, just know enough to get.

    3. Should I stop replication on our VCS control and expressway in regards to TMS?

    Probably the best.

    4. Any other TelePresence infrastructure changes I need to perform prior to migrating to the virtual server?

We have migrated our MSDS from a virtual machine to another, at the same time, adding a second server for redundancy.  As long as you don't change the IP or the FULL domain name depending on how you have your systems point to TMS, you should be fine.

  • Replace the TMS device

    Hi all

I only appliance TMS with VCS and TMSagents (applications MOVI), then my TMS has error and had to be replaced by a new.

is there any procedure to do this replacement for the TMS have TMSagents with VCS to ensure that replication will not be problem. Sorry, I just worriying on replication to be failed.

because I have a large number of users MOVI.

    Thank you all

    Hello Kalinda

What kind of error you see on the server of TMS? Maybe the ist possible to fix it?

Before you replace your server TMS device, you need schedule downtime for maintenance.

You should back up your sql database and the agent MSDS database. Then install the new TMS server with the corresponding version of the former and restore and backup agent MSDS database. You can then enable replication again.

Keep in mind that the TMS appliance server is EOL and EOS, but also you can be able to take advantage of the Cisco migration program.

  • Free Jabber on Tandberg profile 42 C20

I'm registered for free a Jabber account and have my client Movi works well. I am trying to set up my profile 42 C20 Tandberg to connect to the account, but have problems. My SIP profile is configured as follows:

    The default transport: Auto

    DisplayName: SIP profile 1

    Outbound: on

    TlsVerify: Off

    Type: Cisco

    URI: proxy.global.jabber.com

    1 authentication

    user name: [email protected] / * /

    password: *.

    Proxy 1

    -vacuum

I get an 'Impossible' for SIP message when I look at the Diagnostics > System Configuration page. Fill the proxy section? I could find instructions on how to configure my client software but not for a Tandberg codec device.

    Thank you

    -mike

I don't think it would be possible, because free video of Jabber service is supposed to Jabber available video only and not meant for something else.

  • The URI of the TMS device field

I have a situation where a customer has an existing VCS C/E and MSDS to the United States. They added a new C/E VCS in Asia. American systems have the domain customer.com and new VCS in Asia for apac - vc.customer.com.

In TMS, (they are still using TMS Agent, not PE) Movi/Jabber clients are all configured and use the device URI of [email protected] / * /.

The only way I could get a Jabber client to register for VCS in Asia was to change this device URI to apac - vc.customer.com.

Is it possible to add a secondary device URI in TMS? Or is it a translation that I can do in VCS to either allow all movi/Jabber accounts to register as. customer.com?

    Thank you

    SoC

    Hi Rob,

You can create different subareas, save customers jabber based on their subnet ip addresses.

Also according to what you have defined in the SIP domain VCS, you can register your jabber/Movi customers based on the SIP domains.

You can use the CPL to change coming for registration domain names.

  • The Profile Manager select device unique error has occurred

    10.11.4 / server 5.1

Profile Manager... I have a lot of ups and downs with that.  Since the update 5.1, if I'm going to choose ONE device (not a group), the Profile Manager throws up the dreaded "an error has occurred" message and forces a screen refresh.  Also, I get this when you try to delete an enterprise application (we use VPP now so don't have Enterprise).  If they are related or not, I don't know.

Proxy service error log at the time of the message "a server error has occurred."

Our web filter is the 10.114.128.99 address in the case where that helps diagnose.

    Bump!  Anyone?

  • TMS DEVICE DATA PORT

Trying to find in a manual of what should be given on my PC port setting.  Tried N-8-1 @ 9600, 19200, 34800 with no luck?

Any idea is appreciated... Thank you.

The device used TMS screen LCD - no data for the configuration port.  The serial port does nothing for the TMS images.

  • Where to see how ISE is profiling to a device?

Where ISE I see how it is profiling a device?

I would like to confirm if she done it w / just YES via MAB or other mechanisms such as the sensor in the camera, etc.

    TIA

If you use a version up to 2.0 ISE so can be the planned audit to the

Administration > identity management > endpoints

    ISE 2.1

    Visibility of context > endpoints.

from the moment that you click on the endpoint, get to know what probe used for profiling with attributes.

PS: rate if this can help!

  • Update the profile of UCS after adding vNIC?

I've got profiles service and blades running off this service profile. Each blade has two vNIC and I must add two vNIC more their. I want to add the additional vNIC to the models and let the service profiles "updated" with the new vNIC. This happens automatically if the models are "updated", but all my models are currently "initial" so they wont push the new config vNIC on the blades.

To get the blades to recognize the new vNIC should I re - link models with the new vNIC to the profile service, or is it a 'push' that I can trigger model somewhere that I'm missing?

The blades are running ESX and I don't want an unplanned restart.

    Thank you!!!

    GAK

    Greetings Ganesh,

When you use static models (Initial report), the only way to apply your changes would be to untie/re-bind the SP with the updated model.  As it is an "original" model, you can make changes without them "pushed" immediately.

As a great value, the best option for you would be to:

    1. remove your SP to the SP model

    2. Add the new vNIC to the SP Model (currently has nothing attached/linked to it)

    3. place your first ESX host in maintenance mode & close.

4 link again this ESX host service profile to the model (this will cause a re-association event)

    5. turn on your ESX host & check for changes

    6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 for your remaining ESX hosts.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Kind regards

    Robert

    * Note: I much prefer original models for the reason that they don't PUSH configuration changes that can potentially cause a reboot.  Updated models are good if you make profile changes that do not require a reboot to apply - IE. Add or remove a VLAN.  Apart from that, your Initial model will keep your changes "locked" without risking any config accidental push/reboots.

  • ISE is profiling not properly devices

    Hi friends,

can someone else help me? I use ISE 2.0, but this is really not peripheral profiles, printers are explained as cisco routers and switches.

    Thank you.

    1. what should I sensors profiling, you have activated

2 - is for wired or wireless

Thank you for evaluating useful messages!

  • CUCM SQL: Profile of device without line number [1]

    Hi guys,.

We will clean our environment of Callmanager right now and I want to get the device of the user profiles that have never been deleted. Is it possible (my thought was via SQL) appears at least the profiles of the device, who do not have a line number [1] that are associated with (the DNs already have been deleted, but there is still a lot of old profiles laying around)

Thank you for a short answer

    see you soon

    Marc

Maybe someone can do it easily with SQL, but my thought is you can export the UDPs, filter profiles that don't have the directory number 1 in the header, and use this list to remove the profiles.

  • Numbering button and find name in Device Profile

    I have two questions.

    1. How can I activate option "Dial name" in CUCM 8.6, I don't have this option in the Configuration of the end user.

    2. How can I "FIND" button next to the key one-piece phone in the profile of the device configuration window.

    Thank you

Composition composition name seems to have been used for the old AA, I do not see how that it is above 8.5, so it must have been deprecated, I found it in a server 8.5 I

  • Tandberg TMS v13.2.1 - Activation of Windows problem

    Hey all,.

Recently, we had a few problems with our TMS where we tried to RDP to it, he would immediately start us and we couldn't get in. We then tried KVM to the machine, there is no possibility to connect (screen, keyboard, and mouse were unresponsive). We decided to turn off the machine and it works. Once the aircraft came, we could RDP and connect again, however it came with a "Windows Activation required" screen. The TMS only has no internet so we cannot activate this way. I tried to activate windows via the automated phone system, but it gives us an error is not a valid product.

The version of TMS is 13.2.1. It runs Windows Server 2008 SP1. Has anyone encountered this problem? And can I contact Microsoft or Cisco for this problem?

    Thank you

    John

You need to track down which updated the TMS device to Windows Server 2008. Cisco supports only the device with the original operating system (Windows 2003).
