  You can try to reinstall the game then uninstall them. You can also consult the menu 'start' where games are listed, there may be an option to uninstall that there are listed.

• iTunes game NOT the DRM songs free download...

  Recently received Sonos speakers as a gift and discovered a large part of my purchased iTunes music could not be played. I bought an iTunes subscription Match and followed the instructions to remove and re - download purchased DRM-free music. It is that some albums are re - download WITH DRM.   I found that some of my recent purchases originally uploaded as copyrighted content, but when put in correspondence in the library, I was able to use the right click > delete the download option, and then use the cloud icon to download a new free version of DRM for the same.

  I used a separate library to release my DRM content, then added the tracks in my main library and to clean a deduping (windows only) script. Canned script ratings, play counts, playlist membership and since I tweaked for this project, also retains the date added information.

  Problems with my Qosmio X 500,
  BIOS version is currently 2.9

  The laptop is just off in games, initially it is that bad, could play games with weak graphics, but from time to time it became impossible.

  The trick to this is to create folders with names of your choice in the data partition and store your photos and other data out there. You can store all your downloads in a folder of your own making.

  When you install programs, they'll take a capacity of storage in the C: partition, unless you create a folder in the D: partition and install it.

  When you copy files on the D: partition, the original in the C: partition files are no longer needed, so they can be removed.

  Do not store all the files in the recovery partition and do not remove the recovery partition.

  I hope you have at that time there already created a recovery USB. If you have not made a USB key recovery, it would be a good idea to work with it.

• Why a game not load in Vista Ultimate but in Vista Home Premium?

  First time user form. I need help! I just bought the new Need for Speed Undercover PC game.
  I bought my son the game, so that we could play together online. His system has XP Pro installed on it.
  The game works very well. I have Vista Ultimate and will not go beyond the screen of the installation directory. I tried to install it on the new laptop from my wife who uses Vista Home Premium and it worked fine. So what would be the difference between these systems two vista? Am I missing something here?

  Is your drive E:\ where you install the game from? (e.g. CD or DVD)

  If so, the media may be bad.  The disk might have scratches or other problems, or the drive itself could be dirty.  A can of compressed air which will usually clear upward.

  The fact that the file is named autorun.dat is odd.  Any possiblilty that installation runs two times at the same time?

• Installed Directx11 and now no games not working - need help

  Recently, I had windows 7 and for some months now, I've been able to play my games very well (warcraft 3/world of warcraft/civilization 4) without any problem at all.

  Yesterday, I tried to get a new game called heroes of newerth, then departure I got an error that I found, after rising, it was supposed to be fixable by obtaining the latest version of Directx.
  So I've updated to DirectX 9.0 c (which worked very well for a long time) to Directx11, using dxwebsteup.

  Warcraft 3 freezes simply on the launch screen.
  WoW know either update directx 9.0 c and update your video driver (FYI I did the last yesterday, then don't suggest for me to update my graphics driver I did already). And then will not start.
  Other games say error running script of D3D and an assortment of texts simular to that.

  When I run DXDIAG everything happens perfect without any detected problems and showing Directx11 under version. I tried to run dxwebsteup several times in case something has not installed right but without success.

  During hours of research this problem and through Needless to information on Directx, I found that these four fail conclusions:
  1. run the DirectX 9.0 c Installer and it will overwrite Directx11. I tried and it didn't.
  2 uninstall Directx11 will run - regedit - HKEY LOCAL MACHINE - SOFTWARE - Microsoft - Directx and the deletion of this file. Supposedly I could and then restart the computer and install DirectX 9.0 c. After you remove the folder and restart, I noticed several things; but above all, nothing has changed. My computer do not redo the Directx folder, it disappeared completely. The problem is not gone, and also when I try to launch Directx9.0c nothing happens as usual. In DXDIAG, it still says there is no problem and the version is still Directx11, and when I try to run dxwebsteup I get a new error: internal year error has occurred. Please be DXError.log and Directx.log in your windows folder to determine the problem. I'm distraught about what it means and it seems that I myself got in deeper problems.
  3 download a program that can uninstall Directx. I tried this but I have found no program that is compatible with Windows 7 which uninstalls Directx, or y at - it even not with vista.
  4. I am hallucinating; Directx11 is backward compatible, and for this reason, it is impossible to downgrade or install Directx11 Windows 7. No, I'm not hallucinating, it actually happens and even if Directx11 is supposed to play games that require fewer versions of Directx mine isn't.

  Is it really impossible to uninstall/downgrade Directx11?
  Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening and how I can get Directx11 for work with my games?

  No.... it wasn't just a game, it was all my games and the problem was Directx11. At least I was, because I made the post I managed to solve the problem of what I was I canceled my video driver and everything was perfect, once again, so it must be something to do with my video driver updated and is not not properly compatible with directx11.

  my system is a laptop with Vista Home Basic, hav just installed service pack 2, but had these errors before, intel celeron dual core 1.73 ghz t1400.
  I am trying to install two old games, alien trilogy and army, both men are on the perfectly legal full versions of records.
  When I try to install the alie trilogy, I get the message "c windows system32 cmd.exe, this system does not support mode full screen" after the back, opens the window. After that, I have to press the close button.

  For the Alien trilogy.  This site contains information about how to work around the issue that is detailed, but you can't find it useful.  If you have an older version of XP laying around, you can consider creating a configuration dual-boot, you can boot into XP to load these old games and use Vista for everything else.
