  • LAN died after turning the Mode standby with Windows 7!

I have a motherboard Intel DX58SO with the last LAN driver v15.3.  After my computer goes to sleep and then he wakes up, back to the top of the LAN adapter is turned off and it won't work again until I restart my computer. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and I was using Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit before with no problems. I did a fresh install of Win7 and not upgrade.  Anyone have any ideas?  Thank you for your help and your time!

Here is a copy of the email I got from the Intel Technical Support.  In fact, I solved the problem until I got the email. Decommissioning of the bios resolved the problem for me.

    Please contact Customer Support.

I understand the LAN adapter will extinguish after the system returns to "standby" mode on Windows 7 *.

In this case, we recommend test you the system with BIOS version 5200. Please perform a BIOS recovery to make the update. The file can be found at:http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18938&ProdId=3018&lang=eng

For the BIOS recovery instructions, please visit:http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-023360.htm

If the problem persists after using BIOS version 5200, please try to use driver version 14.6. You can find this driver to:

  • Problem with the mode standby in Windows 7

    Hello friends,

I have a big problem when Windows 7 updated itself. I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L505D. When I close the lid, it will automatically 'sleep' mode. Unfortunately, the screen is black and the laptop is still in progress, I have to stop it and then turn. Is it a problem with the driver 'stack '? Please, help me :)

    >.. After Windows 7 update itself
    How to understand this?
Have you installed the Windows updates or what?

Have you tried to restore the OS using System Restore tool and check if the problem persists?

  • Bookmarks toolbar disappears whenever I close the browser. Have you tried all the recommendations.

At the time where Firefox has become very slow, I've been running Chrome for several versions. I'm now trying to switch to Firefox. I have 27.0.1. My bookmarks toolbar disappears whenever I close the browser. I tried all the recommendations I can find including zero and change of name, etc, but nothing has failed to cure the problem. Restore default used to work for the current session, but now it does not work. I'm about to give up and stick with Chrome as the bookmarks toolbar problem is driving me crazy. I'm about to try to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. And this will be my last resort, unless you get a solution to this problem. I've been a Firefox user since its inception up to 16 or 17 years old and like Firefox, but this seems to be common according to my research. BOOKMARKS BAR IS A MUST HAVE!

If you like Advanced SystemCare software that could restore some files from older versions to protect these files based on changes, and then check the settings or uninstall this software.

You can also check the problems caused by a corrupt localstore.rdf file.

Have Vista Home Premium. When I put the computer on the mode 'sleep', it closes and moves to the State of low consumption with the screen. But in a few seconds without touching the key or mouse it starts again. What is going on?

  • ESXi 5 managing network not automatically start after reboot, or when the output of the mode standby

HI all 5 ESXi installed on HP BL460c G7. HP C7000 Enclouser system connected to the NAC (switch HP series A5800) via the Module HP FlexFabric 10 Gbs. The server has 6 vmcins:

    (1) management network - 2 NIC (1 GB per nic)

    (2) vMotion Network - 2 NIC (1 GB per nic)

    (3) Vitual Machine networks - 2 NIC (2 GB per nic)

    (4) zFCP - 2 network cards (6 GB per nic)

After you restart or when the output of the mode standby, the management network starts does not automatically, you need to restart manually from the console directly. Hypervisor ISO downloaded directly from the vmware Download Center and all the recommended HP drivers downloaded and installed from HP Download Center.

OK, another thing you could try is this change that HP recommended for my situation. The CLI performs: esxcfg-module - s "heap_max = 20971520" be2net

and reboot. The memory default chunk size is not large enough and will change to this size in the next version of the driver.

Also, have you tried yet 5.0 U1? There are a lot of bugs in U1.

    ON THE PROBLEM

This problem has happened recently. Once I turn on my desktop mode computer "sleep", it cannot reconnect to the Internet and I use only cable internet which computer is connected via ethernet to the cable-internet-modem/router cable. The computer seems to be able to view all available networks, but she was never able to connect to the Internet (after waking up from sleep). At the same time that the computer seems to have slowed a lot, I have no idea why, but I guess he's trying to reconnect to the internet and this process of reconnection is devouring its resources.

I had other problems with this computer during this past year the half, but will not go into great detail with them now. These problems have been losing some dll. file that was ment to display the Win 7 great/normal devices connected to the computer, and a total system crashes / freezes after having updated graphics drivers AMD ATI Radeon 3000. However these problems seem to have disappeared after Windows 7 service pack 2 update. Also, I scanned the computer several times with a well-known and apreciated overall software security, no virus or other major security problems have been found.

The only problem that seems to have the computer right now is just this question, I am trying to solve.

Any suggestions to check and make what?

    Hello:

A few suggestions, you can try...

    1. install the latest driver W7 ethernet of the Realtek RTL8105E ethernet adapter to your PC.

Download, unzip and run the application configuration of the 2nd on the Web page below.

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1 & PNid = 14 & PFid = 7 & Level = 5 & Conn = 4 & DownTypeID = 3 & getdown = false

    2. go in Device Manager, expand network adapters device category.

Left click on the Realtek ethernet card.

Click the power management tab, and uncheck the box to allow windows to turn off this device to save power.
