  Your graphics driver is actually obsolete. ATI released yesterday, the v9.7 their CCC / graphic driver package. I highly recommend the upgrade.

• Windows XP Professional hangs once a day

  During the last three months of my computer, a PC of 16 months that are running Windows XP Professional, has been freezing about once a day. The only error message that appears on the event log is a system error, Print source, event 23. The Description is "printer hp LaserJet 1000 initialization failed because an appropriate hp LaserJet 1000 driver could not be found." I had uninstalled my LJ 1000 about 6 months ago. After that the accidents began, I upgraded my bios and ran CCleaner to clean the registry. However, I always get the same error message in the event viewer. How to remove completely any trace of the LJ 1000?

  First of all, remove the printer in printers and Faxes applet.  To remove the drivers, while in printers and faxes, click the file menu and then click on "Server Properties" and then click the drivers tab and remove LJ1000 drivers, restart the computer to apply the changes.  I am not convinced that this event 23 is the source of your plant, but remove the drivers and see if things improve.

  I did a search for this error and Im see articles on corruption ESENT/JET on 4K sector hard drives so I followed the instructions and asked the fix for microsoft in favor KB 2553708. I received the fix and got an error when you try to apply the update. "Setup has encountered an error: 0xc8000247" I was able to apply the update on the original hard drive and fix the disk to the advanced format, but I'm still getting the error of image, partitions are aligned properley and I've updated to the latest drivers install IST.

  IM wondering what to do next? I feel I have tried everything.

  Since there is a corruption with the packages on your system (shown in the papers above), it can be advantageous to try to run CheckSUR to automatically repair packages. • Burning DVD Maker to 98.9% errors

  I'm trying to burn a WMV video to DVD that has been converted to a 1 hour long FLV video to 320 x 240. DVD Maker cannot create the disc. The Windows event viewer application log records these two entries:

  I burned the DVD in the past, but all this happens from time to time. The last time that I fixed it by unchecking the compressor in Movie Maker AVI codec, but that didn't work this time. I have all the latest Microsoft updates and patches including SP2 and all the latest hardware drivers. I tried to uninstall all 3rd and associated codecs advantage DVD creators. When I convert the FLV file to WMV format, I used the Koyote free video converter program. I uninstalled for too much from this program. Would be - that something inconsistent of the conversion process? Both of my DVD/RW drives were recently replaced and tested good. I have the same symptom with the reader. Here are my system specs too:

  Hello hscowan,

  Have you already tried the Windows Installer Cleanup utility? I do not see an answer to know if you have tried to see if it help you clean a
  corrupted installations.

  If the cleaning tool does not help, the only other option would be to contact Nuance, the seller for Dragon speaking naturally. They have supported
  for their product. I saw an article here not be able to install on Windows Vista if it is an upgrade to Windows XP. Don't know if your installation
  was an upgrade or not.

  The other option, I would try is temporarily disable User Account control and see if this will help get installed it.

  Around 0:05 AM GMT, errors have occurred. HP Solution Center asked to restart the computer.   I am currently implementing navigation for a file using the CameraRoll since File.Browse () methods are still badly broken. I have implemented a method of load using the example of the documentation. Unfortunately, it seems simply crash the application. Here's the code to date.

  I'm detection to see if the film is supported and then using one of the two callback methods to load the file.  It could be done with the method of a reminder if we could rely on the event. Target property from the File.Browse method, but we cannot and this is another problem.

  In any case, it seems very simple. When he runs in the sim card, the supportsBrowseForImage property is true indicating it is supported, but on the browseForImage() call, the application disappears. The callback is never called.   Yep, the BIOS update.  Just follow the direction of HP and just in case where to save your data.

• Windows 7 Aero Desktop stopped working after installing IE9 & windows update last night (and reboot)

  I installed IE 9 beta on Windows 7, then installed windows 2 critical updates that night and restarted my PC.  Aero works does not in the morning.  Here are the errors in the event log:

  For some reason, I have no longer than 11/6 recovery point so I can't roll back.   This utility only difficulty and just sayd that the Desktop Manager is disabled.   I was digging on the net for days, but no luck.  Ideas?  Thank you!
