  Good so I found the problem. It was real HARD drive I had in my system. After you told me to do what you had posted, I started thinking and wanted to try a theory. I connect a spare hard drive I had in another computer, I like a build up of hobby. It's only 200 GB, but still more than enough. Anyway, when about and installed the operating system on it and of course I could tell a MAJOR DIFFERENCE in the overall performance!

  The original HARD drive that is a Western Digital 500 GB took more than 2 1/2 hours to install completely; the Seagate 200 GB took only 20 minutes!   In my sandbox, I 'Wireless Network Connection 3' and "RTL8187B is linked to something".
