Telepresence call seconds Sx80 became as Audio calls only

Hi all

We have two Telepresnce SX80 (Ext:5001 and 5002) on different location and video call work HARD but when I try to call one of my Cisco Jabber on smart phone presentation of the call on Panel (answer appeal Audio only).

is it possible to make third call like video?

the applcaition for help on this envirment as follows:

The issue was not on the pool of the unit or the MRG, it was how the call flow looks like.

As you mentioned the call that creates the problem emanates from your smartphone, it would be the first thing, the video works when you dial directly between the telepresence system and Jabber on the phone?

According to the video smartphone may not be supported, keep this in mind.

If the video does not work on direct appeal from point to point it won't probably work a

multi-party scenario or,...

If the video works, keep reading, if not first fix the part :-)

Next part would be when you launch the multi party call how it is done and where is

the call ends upwards.

You have different scenarios, appointment, ad-hock or on demand.

I assume you are talking about meetings ad-hock.

In any case, it would be important to hear how the call is established at the end.

I see scenarios:

* This call is hosted locally on the SX80, when no multisite license is present a further appeal would be added as audio only

* Call Gets an audio only MRG lift, but who would also stop the initial video

* call gets lift for the MCU but the video is missing for the participant to Jabber

(Additional troubleshooting is required between the MCU and Jabber).

    It is a normal behavior if you do not have the option on the SX80 Multisite key.  You are allowed to a single video call and a second call audio only.  You must have the Multisite option key, or use an external MCU or telepresence server to fill the participants together.

    Take a look at the '[1.1] IncomingMultisiteCall conference Mode' setting in the SX80 Administrator's Guide on pg 76.  Note, this will prevent any incoming call if the codec is already in the middle of a call, so no one will be able to connect until the current call is interrupted.

    Two weeks ago my G4 motorcycle more suddenly lost network and began to show the only signal of emergency calls.

    I think that your best course of action now would be to use a SIM card of appropriate size.

    Please be aware that a badly cut SIM can damage the SIM tray, but let's first try the new SIM card and see if it works.

    Resolved to myself.  Already had a digital security password so I tried to put that in.  It was accepted & seemed to allow the network to reconnect that meant while I was off emergency calls only mode & could enter my password safe alpha & enter my phone.

    Rather strange but suggested that my SIM card can hold my old password that I used with my last phone.

    Unusual scenario but the hope that it might help others.

    My suggestion would be to use Audacity (a free audio editing application) to record the audio.  You can then change the audio stream as you seems to (for example, cut into individual pieces) and export it to a certain formats.
    I used it in the past to make an mp3 of the DVD concert album.  It works very well (if there is some time.)

    can give you some background info, version of pp etc are all files of the same format and the same source or mixed?

    You can add clips in the sequence manually multicam as a workaround? Right-click in the tray and choose open in the timeline to have access to it. from there, you can try to add the other two clips and even use if necessary synchronization tool.

    Using Report Builder, you can create a playlist option where you can specify several bitrate has + v flow m3u8 url (you already know) and audio only stream m3u8 url. This tool is just a serialize all of the information you provide to it. It does not flow generate individual m3u8 URL on its own. This variant playlist can be hosted somewhere. When the player asking this playlist variant, it identifies all correspondents m3u8 URL and bitrate. Player will play the url m3u8 than hasbitrate just below its bandwidth of entry.

    There was a time that audio input microphone of telepresence C40 goes OFF mode when you start the unit. Also when manually activate us it and end the videoconference call.

    The mode will be automatically extinguished.

    The configuration is C40 entry audio microphone is connected to the mixer of third party.

    Is there no workaround solution to fix?

    Ralph has opened a case with TAC and arrived at webex. It's just to let everyone know that we were able to solve the problem. Just to convey information. That's what we were doing on the webex session:

    Indeed, we found tha the microphones were shut off as soon as we have disconnected from the call. We checked the following things:

    xConfiguration conference 1 AutoAnswer Mute: Off

    xConfiguration MicUnmuteOnDisconnect Mode 1 Conference: on

    xConfiguration Provisioning Mode: TMS

    We turned off the MicUnmuteOnDisconnect first and the problem still persists. We have then canceled endpoint of the TMS suspecting that configuration could come from the TMS and checked by calling again. Hoewver, the microphones were always switch off to end the call.

    Finally, we checked the parameters of MuteOnInactiveVideo:

    xConfiguration Audio input Microphone 1 VideoAssociation MuteOnInactiveVideo: on

    xConfiguration Audio input Microphone 2 VideoAssociation MuteOnInactiveVideo: on

    We shot both of them off and the problem was solved. Ralph, please check this question as answered so that others can enjoy.

    I noticed that Skype to call does not detect any number on browser that encapsulated in the tag.

    It detects ordinary number, and I can use click to call.

    but not on numbers that currently into a hyperlink.

    I highly doubt it because that would mean that it would essentially convert/modify an existing binding that really wouldn't make sense for me.

    • It should be able to receive PSTN calls

    To achieve this, you need managers DN in a TICKET, for example named Manager_PT, which is not seen in other phones CSS (device and/or line depending on your configuration).     The last 14.0.0.176 update flash for IE9 seems to have solved the problem of stuttering. I've just updated and tried - running smooth as silk. Thank you Adobe for finally fixing.
