  • DVD showing "Temporary burn folder" instead of a real folder in Windows 7

I burned a DVD using CDBurnerXP, which contains four files in the root (and an another subfolder within one of them). The disc contains mostly JPGs... disk size approximately 2.8 GB. The DVD checked properly.

The last folder in the root called 'Tim' but show in Explorer as "temporary burn folder.

I opened the disc with IsoBuster and can see the ISO, Joliet & UDF systems all with the correct name of the file. This can also be checked with a disk editor.

  • Burning folder then tap dvd

    Hello

I'm going into a complete mess burning my PE7 project to a folder (can not see even 'burn to the folder"option!) I need to comlpete this project today so can u please give me the steps I have to take. I look in the forums, but still no the wisest. I guess that's the video .ts files which I then burn to dvd in the folder.

    Help much appreciated.

Are you saying that when you select part/disk, you do not see the folder option in the menu drop-down DVD disc? That's where.

Once you have created your DVD files in a folder, you use just any DVD burning software to copy the VIDEO_ts folder and its contents to a disc.

The question is... can I delete these files (after the registration of the Readme (in English)?

    Thanks for the responses,

    Hello

You can go ahead and delete those files in which the installation files have been extracted from when the installation has been successful. They won't cause any problems with the functionality of Photoshop & first 10 elements.

    I hope this helps.

I suspect that it was abnormal and error of windows system, the first time I run the PC after reformatting and restoring, there was no such desktop.ini in the recordable media. I notice it start up after microsoft windows LIVE essential and games for windows LIVE installation.

I have made many try hard but he still see the intermittently. even with security update and latest ms windows, updates essential...

first step, type "regedit" in start search, to run the registry editor program.

then go to the Edit menu, and then search FOR "shell32.dll,-21815", in:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderDescriptions\ {...}

check with "shell32.dll,-21815" and the relative path "Microsoft\Windows\burn\burn."

    If so found,

Export the registry and save it as burner.reg. then,

only remove the "localizedname' and the 'attributes' and keep the rest.  (CORRECTION)

then FIND 'Windows\Burn\', look for this register with the address "c:\user\...\AppData\...". Microsoft\Windows\burn\burn' or

Then make a new folder name 'burn '. , restart the computer, note start the computer to the top of windows significantly faster...

FINISHING WORK, SOLVE it... the desktop.ini will never appear in the recordable media player. all normal, can burn the recordable, the file to be burn save temporary burn folder will delete automatically after burning, everything as usual, no error.

    (CORRECTION)

I suspect the the desktop.ini performed from the Games for Windows LIVE search software keep for any PC games in the hard drive and remove-able, perhaps from this, the computer run more slowly than the condition of freshly reformatted / PC Restore. It acts like a virus that prevents the monitor and look for any PC games... and record them in the registry.

After of many trials/try, I noticed the access special setting by clicking with the right button on the optical drive for assets, the menu "registration", the parameters cannot be change and save/apply.

(eject the disc after burning master, temporary folder except location,...)

I found the solution, to keep the registry than the note above for deletion to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderDescriptions\ {...},

with "shell32.dll,-21815" and the relative path with "Microsoft\Windows\burn\burn."

only remove the "localizedname' and the 'attributes' and keep the rest.

Restart the PC, everything should be normal. Settings menu for registration in the optical drive capital can be adjust and apply / save, desktop.ini nomore see in the optical drive

I have several folders on a CD.  When I opened one of them to look at the contents, the folder was moved in the section "Files currently on the drive" to the section that says "ready to be written on the disc of the files.  It should not be written to disk, it is already on the CD.  How for it to be shown in the first section?

    I have Windows 7 Home edition 64-bit, with a combination CD/DVD drive.

I suggest you copy the folder that is located in the section "Files ready to be written to the disk" in your desktop environment.

I would then export, but it won't burn it directly to disk in a temporary burn folder, I can drag the created file in the drive before it will burn.  I would like to be recognized as a DVD drive and not a data disc.  Can someone advise me please how to do it please that the funeral is at 14:00 today and he currently 4.16 am. I was watching the video tutorials and I'm frustrated.

Sorry, but you cannot author a dvd-video with the trialversion. You must still CS6 which has no trial.

Maybe its possible with first elements 13 of the trial, he build a dvd program.

  • Find my temporary folder - NOT the Temporary Internet Files folder

Where can I find the temporary files folder? I'm not looking for the Temporary Internet Files folder but the temporary file folder. I recently downloaded a digital purchase from a Web site on my computer. Normally, I can right click and select Save target as and select the folder where I want to save it. But, for some reason any this site does not allow me to do this process. So I have to click on the download button and it starts to save the file in my folder for temporary files. I'll watch the Internet Temp folder - package not there. Then, I noticed there is a folder Temp basic - but for the life of me - I can't find? I tried to do a search advaced on my computer to find the file - it takes hours. I don't have the time to sit here and look for the file - do not to seem pretentious - but it is taking my business time. 1 can anyone tell me where to find the folder for temporary files? and 2. Anyone know how I can change when the files are automatically uploaded? I know you used to be able to do it via IE and tools. But I do not see this option. Any help will be appreciated!

The following article tells you where it is and how to clean it (if it's of any interest):http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/104637-temporary-files-temp-folder.html.

As far as downloads go, everyone I did always asked me if I want to run the file or save it, and if I select save it allows me to access the location of my choice.  I've never had one who just downloaded without any warning to some place that he chose.  The following article can help you by setting a default value or revise the value default or the fixing of the problem presented no option (even if it is by reference to another article):http://unlockforus.blogspot.com/2008/07/how-to-find-or-specify-download.html.

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows Vista folder size is 32 GB. How adjust us that to the 15 GB required for Vista installation?

I have windows vista ultimate 64-bit installed on a 50 GB partition.  The windows folder contains 34.8 GB, about 18 GB is exhausted by the winsxs folder.  I read a lot of the other threads on this topic, but have not yet find a sensible answer.  Buy a bigger hard drive is not an option, not because of costs but because of the weather, the amount of time I have to reload all the software and settings is unacceptable, especially if I have now every two months.  So is there a solution to this problem or not?  Windows 7 suffers the same?  I have to downgrade to XP?  Can I use the same number to install the 64-bit version of XP?

    Hi Luisbon,

Thank you for visiting Forums answers to Microsoft Windows.

Given that the installation of the operating system files are present in the Windows folder, it will occupy certain amount of space. The WinSxS folder contains the copy of the file system and other components. If you install many applications for Vista, WinSXS folder may be great because it will require to store multiple copies of the dll to enable multiple applications to run in windows without compatibility issues. If you browse inside, you can look at a lot of duplicate dll, each with the same name. These are actually different versions of the same files that are stored; different programs may require different versions. In short, Winsxs, acronym for "Windows Side By Side," is native assembly cache of Vista.

However, I have some steps that will help you increase your computer's hard disk space.

    Method 1

Delete all temporary files from your computer. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. click on the start search box.

    2. type %temp%, and then press ENTER.

    3. delete all files in the temp folder.

Note: Leave the files that refuse to remove.

    Method 2

Remove all the temporary files that may exist on CD and DVD burning.

To do this, follow these steps:

Delete all files in the folder in folder location to burn C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Burn\Temporary burn and delete all the files.

    Method 3

Run clean disc of the location (Start) > all programs > Accessories > system tools.

    Method 4

If you do not use Hibernation you can save space in the space of hard drive as the amount of RAM installed by turning it off. In the run window, type powercfg.exe off h (spaces note both) and press ENTER. To re-enable type powercfg.exe h and press ENTER.

See the link given below, where the user has had a similar problem.

  • CD burner is busy when you try to write media.

What should I do if my cd burner means he's busy.

I just finished burning a CD and wanted to burn another copy of the same cd and now the pop up says my cd burner is busy. How can I solve this problem

    Hello

    ·         What software do you use to burn the CD?

If you use Windows Explorer, follow these steps:

    1. you will need to "Temporary files are waiting to be written to disk" in the Explorer.

To clear pending files, select the files/folders in the 'Files to add to the CD/DVD' box and press DELETE. However, if you want to delete all files, click the CD/DVD drive and select 'Clear the staging area' from the context menu.

You can manually delete the files that are stored in the following location:

    %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CD Burning folder

    2. If any third-party CD burning software is installed on your computer, uninstall it and check for the issue.

    3. If no, try the DIFFICULTY in http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cd_dvd_drive_problems
