  I try to do a VI that will read a simple text configuration file.  The file will have entries like:

  URL = 192.168.0.1

  Port = 9000

  What I want to do is read the line and 'analyze' in 2 channels.  Then, based on the content of the first string (the part before the = sign), do something with the second part (after the =).

  I managed to open the file using "File open/create/replace" and but will have problems reading "Scan From File" to pull strings (it seems to define a mistake when I read in the first line, although my probes show that I had two channels).

  Anyway, once I have my 2 strings, it is a simple 'case' as the structure that I can use to search through all my "pre-defined first?

  Do not build something new. Just use the file Config screws - check under file IO functions. They will do exactly what you want.

  The model does not OCR functionality as part of the HP software.

  To scan the form of editable text, you will need to use any 3rd party OCR software.

  If you have Microsoft Office installed on your PC, most likely the suite will provide you with such a feature:

  1. Microsoft OneNote in Office 2010
  2. MS Office Document Imaging and Scanning in Office 2003 or 2007.

  Hello - I am using simple *. TXT files in the DropBox folder to create notes and sync with the computer in Linux (via DropBox).

  I can't find any method to create a new file to plain text (on sd card, dropbox,... file system folder). I can create document in the Docs To Go, but the document is saved as.doc (document ms).

  Edit and resave existing plain text (*.txt) files are pretty simple 'Docs To Go"(no problem).

  A tip?

  I don't see a way to do it. But I searched the text editor in BlackBerry World and got a lot of possibilities. Some look pretty good.

  I think I have to try a split of the string and see how big the table is either simply to count the number of newline characters. Since you said you have a huge file and your data are contained in 1 chain, then you should be able to do it more conveniently.

  Hi, I m trying to convert a simple text in .txt format of an audio file with the action automator´s "audio file of the text. It works fine but I´d like to improve results by adding silence between paragrafs and sections in the text. Does anyone know if y at - it an option or instance that inserts silences in the text that could be recognized by the Text2Audio action?

  Put this [[slnc]] 2000 in the text where you need 2 seconds of silence.

  But it does not work with some voices.

  Looks like you will need to use the RTT (-real time), which transforms the tiara time real number (fractions of a second from 0 AD) in a date/time string.  There is also a TTR function that goes the other way.

• What are the numbered text KB files? (i.e. KB961503)

  I have many text files in Windows labeled as follows... KB961503 (all figures are different) and some are followed by v2, v3 or IE8.  There are over 165 of them in windows, should I remove?

  You can refer to the created log files when Windows 'Patches' are installed by Windows Update (for example, KB961503.log).  If you have configured to "Hide extensions for known file types" Windows Explorer, you will not see the .log extension, but the files will open probably still in Notepad, when you double-click them.

  The first lines of these files should be something like:

  If the patch is installed correctly, the newspaper has no use and can be removed.  If you have a problem with a particular update, it is possible that the newspaper will have clues about the problem.

  Afer, install the drivers and the printer software on 64 bit Windows 7 Pro, the shortcut on the desktop and start menu entry "HP Officejet 6700' returns the text for the XML files .  When the icon is first you click a window asked me to choose which installed printer, and then displays the two xml files.  The first file is called 'HPSPProgress' the second 'HPSolutionPortal' using windows Notepad.

  The shortcut pointing to the following text:

  "C:\Program HP HP Officejet Officejet 6700.exe 6700\Bin\HP" - launch UDCDevicePage

  Web and print based access drivers will work perfectly, and the HP Scan program office works very well also. All the functions of the printer work properly. But this program installed a desktop will not work.

  I uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled several times as an administrator and with various parameters compatibility without success.  I tried to install the CD as well as on the internet with the same result.

  I have trouble opening a text file.  On the adobe website, I found an interesiting code to the url:

  When I tried to apply the code, the IDE threw an error on the line that begins with, "fileStr.open."

  Does anyone have any ideas on how to open existing text in the SRC directory?  I am open to move the text file, if that helps.  I chose the SRC directory as .png in this directory files open without error. I use the Flash Burrito.

• Export of Photoshop CC: unable to paste text in file name when exporting

  Recently I tried to paste in some text my Clipboard file name when the "export as" in Photoshop and paste functionality does not seem to work at all, BUT if I use 'save for web', I can paste the text in the file name my Clipboard without problem. Not sure if this is a bug or intentional? Either very frustrating. Help, please.

  I have noticed this problem using export as on the CC 2015.1.2 with my Mac.

  You don't need the double table much in PL/SQL. You can simply say

  v_comp := SUBSTR (p_csa, 1, 4);

  What are you trying to do here? For example, what you're trying to put between c_comp and v_csa_prefix?

  If you don't want space, then only concatenate all the spaces in the string before you write it and REPLACE allows you to delete all the spaces that have been copied from p_csa. For example:

  I guess you need the v_comp of separate variables, the v_csa_prefix and the v_csa_type for something.

• Text variables - file extension cannot be disabled

  I have a number of documents that have been created to CS6. All these contain a simple text variable showing the name of the file. When I opened these docs in CC, the text variable now shows the file name extension. I turned off this option in the text set up variables, but the extension still shows:

• Book and conditional text Tags file do not match

  With Framemaker 10 (CT 3, Windows 7 64-bit), when I click on a document in a book (& view > show/hide conditional text), there is no such thing as an additional conditional text tag that appears in the text document show/hide conditional.

  For example:

  1. In the book, My Book.book, I select Chapter1.fm (but do not open).
  2. Then I opened the group Show/Hide conditional text (view > show/hide conditional text)
  3. I see these two tags, text to hide and HideTextcondition. I use text hide but not HideText.
     • Apparently, at some point, I changed the name of the condition tag.
  4. I have to open Chapter1.fm.
  5. When I open the Panel of text show/hide conditional , HideText is not there.

  What I want to do is to remove HideText (that I don't use), but I can't find how to court. any ideas out there?

  A little more information that might help to understand what is happening:

  1. I select Chapter1.fm in the book.
  2. Then I select view according to the condition in the group Show/Hide conditional text .
  3. Select the hide field HideText .
  4. Click the left arrow (<-) to move the field to display HideText .
  5. Click apply.
  6. I get this error message in the book error log:
  • Cannot display the following tags because they do not exist in the present document

  So, can someone tell me how to get rid of HideText from files of the book?

  John,

  With only the open book file, even if one of its documents is selected, the show/hide box lists all the conditions in the book. The error message says you that the selected document does not have this tag. Thus, some other documents in the book has the label or that you think that you have changed the name in the past and he is still in the book file to.

  So first, I'd follow the suggestiong of Sheila #4. Save the BOOK as mif. Open the mif with a text editor. Search for the following sequence of lines:

  > end # ConditionCatalog

  Remove these lines and save the file. Now open the mif file in FrameMaker and save it as a FrameMaker book (in the record dialog, don't forget to remove the string ".mif" at the end of the file name or image will complain). The book was updated. FrameMaker will then create a new catalog of condition in the book based on conditions in the files of the book.

  If the condition is still there, then you need to find the document that contains still. You can use the Find function to search for conditional text with just this condition.
