Additional details
I have blocked facebook, but the report shows "visits", that just average how many times they tried to get on facebook, but they can't really?  So, I'm new to all this, thanks in advance for any help.

Does this mean it will show a 'visit', even if they have to ask permission to go the site?

    Hello

It is possible that you experience this problem because you are using an older version of Windows Live Family Safety. To do this, connect to the client Windows Live parental controls with the parent account, once connected, click the question mark, and then select parental control. The latest version is 15.4.3555.0308.

If you use the outdated version of the client, I recommend that you download and install the latest version. Please refer to this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-live/essentials-other-programs

I also want to confirm if lists of Web filtering is configured on the Web site of the parental control? Go to https://fss.live.com and sign in with the parent account, select the account of the child you are analyzing and confirm if the webiste is on the blocked list. Please also make sure that you enter the exact URL of the site you want to block.

Finally, refresh the client of parental control filter. Sign in to the family of customer security with the parent account, on the top right click on the icon that has 2 arrows (get latest settings from the Web site).

  • The number of rows that can be retrieved in the Discoverer report

    Hi all

Is there a maximum limit on the number of lines that can be retrieved in the Scout report.

    Kind regards
    Ankur

    Hi John,.

"Is there an upper limit for the number of records retrieved by discoverer?

There is no upper limit for the extraction of the records. IF you count very well systems you can do millions and billions. I don't so much think that those millions will be retrieved, if so recovered it will give you memory.

go to the query governor, and to restrict the DataSet to retrieve any value as millions or billions.

    I hope this helps you!

    Best wishes

  • System makes rattling then disables the active window

I installed Windows 7 on a Dell XPS 420 a year ago.  Since the installation, every 2 minutes or so, the system will make a rattling noise and active window, I work with will be disabled.  It doesn't matter if I work in Word, on the Web or e-mail.  Everything I type or working on stops immediately (sometimes making me lose 2-3 lines of typo) and I have to go to the mouse and click once to reactivate the window.  Extremely frustrating.  I closed all background programs, run a clean boot and run spyware or malicious controls, and nothing has worked so far.  Any suggestions?

    HI RAWolfe,

Everything first, go to Dell and look for any driver or other updates matching your system (use the serial number, but do not forget to change the operating system if you changed it when he sold to the current).  Update for those who are not topical - particularly that relating to the graphics cards and monitors - but really compare them all what you have now in Manager devices, and update that can be updated and are applicable.  See what follows to learn more about this, but here, let's assume that you are looking for not only those with problems, but who are not the latest available:

Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get pilots to leave the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.  You can also try the Driver Verifier Manager to see if you can identify the driver or the responsible device (assuming that it is the cause): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/244617.

Then, go to Control Panel / Power Options and make sure that your settings are not set to close things to the low "in 2 minutes.  Try to set reasonable limits to just to be sure.

Rattling noises often mean a hardware problem and often mean the hard drive.

Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

Type SFC/scannow, go and let it run.  It will scan and try to correct some of your system files.  If all goes well he comes complete with no corruption, it could not repair (if it has these post of corruption here or try to analyze it to find the problem or files using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228.  Try to put all the corrupt files here so that we can see if they can be repaired with good copies of the installation disc (unless there are too many).

While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run.  They tried to set itself to run at the next reboot.   Answer Yes and restart to run the program.  It will scan and attempt to resolve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a potential cause.

We will test your hard disk and RAM for hardware problems:

To test your hard drive, try HD diagnosis (http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html) or this test: hard drive diagnostics tools and utilities (storage) - Corp of TACKtech (http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=287).  If it fails the test, replace it.  If she passes the test, then it's probably nothing wrong with it.

You can also test your RAM to http://www.memtest.org/.  Here are the additional instructions that can help: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html.  If it fails, test each piece individually to find those who are bad and replace.  If it passes, the RAM is probably OK.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

I'm not able to get on the site using the connection to childhood.  But reports say the blocked site looked at 300 - 500 times.  Even if these are attempts (are they?) this should be reported elsewhere (I thought they were already), I want to see my children are actually using on the activity report. • While the iPhone overseas requires a reactivation, which sometimes works, but more often does not work. At the beginning he said that my SIM card was not supported by the activation policy assigned by the activation server.

    iPhone 6

    Network: Verizon

    iOS 9.3.3

Twice now, once in Costa Rica in April and, more recently, in Ireland, while that phone overseas warning reads as follows:

"your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is not reachable. Try to connect your phone to the iPhone to activate it, or try again in a few minutes. If the problem persists contact Apple Support to Apple.com/support. »

    or:

"The SIM card that you have currently installed in the phone is a carrier that is not supported in the title of the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This isn't a problem with the hardware with the iPhone. Please insert another card from a supported carrier SIM or ask this iPhone be unlocked by your operator. Please contact Apple for more information. »

My carrier is Verizon and I replaced the SIM card on my return from Costa Rica end of April despite the fact that the card is unlocked and good, in theory, for international travel,

Before you activate the phone is locked and I can't access applications like camera, that, when I travel, I need over the phone.

Apple says call Verizon. Verizon said, you guessed it, call Apple.

When I return to the States, everything works fine. I thought that the replacement of a SIM card would do the trick, so you can imagine my dismay when the activation warning came after I took the phone off airplane mode after I landed in Dublin and the activation warning came new.

    What is going on?

  • Are popups in activity report?

He showed on the activity report that my son has tried to access Facebook 54 times. He swore that it didn't, so I tested it myself under his log-in I accessed both, and he showed on the activity report I tried accessing it 4 times.  The only thing I can think is that Web pages that have 'Like' on them or have popups added the number of times that access has been tried.   The activity report must be accurate or we will be on our children for it when they don't really have.  Any thoughts?

    Hi Maggie,

Safe family activity reports will include visited but blocked, sites that include pop-ups. Also, sites that are redirected from other sites, or use a feature of this site (such as the Facebook Like function and share) will add also to the top of the activity report.
    Thank you.
  • Activity report of my child is generated automatically?

If it is generated automatically, how often?  If it is not generated automatically, how to request a report?

    Hi Darlene,

The reports are generated automatically when it is turned on in the Family Safety website. Once the child's account is used, it will start to produce reports that can also be seen in the site Web of FS. You can manually check the activity reports on the Web site:

    1. log in to the family safety with your parent account.
    2. in the title of the family summary page, click view activity report next to the name of the child.

Alternatively, you can set security for the family to send activity reports, the frequency of summary of activity report e-mail is received each week and can put off.

    1. log in to the family safety with your parent account.
    2. on the family summary page, click Edit settings under the name of the parent account.
    3. under Email Notification, click on frequency of activity report:
    4. choose your preferred settings 'weekly or Off', click OK.

Note: After changing this option, please refresh your family safety filter by following the steps on this link: How to update the family safety filter?

    Thank you

  • Cannot change the active title bar

    Hey people.

I use a HP Envy (Windows 7, etc.), a year or so old, but I just did a reset complete system - a few days ago. It is therefore running (approximately) on the parameters of the box.

However, I have problems by changing the settings of the active title bar for programs that do not have their own settings of active title bar (think Windows Explorer vs Google Chrome). This has caused some problems, especially for things like Mathematica, where the menu under the title bar is screwed up. More important still, it seems just ugly.

Unfortunately, go into the settings of customization (including advanced settings) in Control Panel does not work. In fact, the parameters are essentially the value by default and cannot not even match at the exit. It is quite confusing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if I can provide more information on the parameters, specifications, etc.

    Hello

Thanks for posting the request in the Microsoft community forums.
I understand that you can not change the active title bar on Windows 7.

    Please answer the following questions:

    1. you receive an error message on the computer?

    2. what happens when you click on personalization in Control Panel?
    3. don't you make changes on the computer before the show?

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I will certainly help the question of fixing.
Try the troubleshooting steps provided in the links and check.

Note: After the adventures of shooting set the computer to start as usual by performing step 7 above of the Knowledge Base article.

    Method 2:
