The AMD graphics card driver update

I have desktop pc HP Pavilion 500-242 running Windows 8.1 (pre-installed) which has driver AMD Radion HD D 7560/AMD Radion R5 235 double Graphic and when I searched the website of AMD and ran their graphics card auto detect culminating in the update utility is available. I downloaded... but the screen is blank... That is to say the black screen of death. I restarted the pc, but still the screen was black. I had no other choice but to return to the default configuration of PC.

Have I downloaded the right pair or should I use HP Support Assistant to check updates, but leading to nothing and I checked the HP website for driver downloads but don't know if the update is here.

Is it necessary to update graphics driver AMD if pc works ok?

Hello

HP uses propriety driver often enough for video cards AMD OEM.  Use the drivers that are displayed on the HP support site or to use the original AMD driver shipped with your PC.

  • The satellite L650 - 1 M 0 graphics card driver update

I want to update my graphics (hd 5650) driver.
Driver Toshiba site is old. I want the latest driver for my graphics card.

Can someone give some link to new driver?

You can check the drivers that have been released for other portable Toshiba supporting the same graphics card ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

AFAIK the notebooks with the same GPU are:
    Satellite L650D PSK1SE
    Satellite L655 PSK1JE
    Satellite L655D-PSK1SE
    Satellite L670 PSK3EE
    Satellite L670D PSK3NE
    Satellite L675 PSK3EE
    Satellite L675D PSK3NE

    Satellite Pro L650 PSK1KE
    Satellite Pro L670 PSK3FE

Otherwise, you can consult the page of the ATI driver, but the use of these drivers is your risk and peril since these ATI drivers are not modified for mobile use.

  • Sat Pro 2100: the graphics card driver updates

I bought a laptop from Toshiba in 2002 (satellite pro) and they have just updated the VGA driver once...
I bought a toshiba, then because they had the graphics card, I'd need for my study (virtual design) but now because Toshiba somehow don't think that new drivers are important I can't use certain features have new drivers and my chip does not support, but I have not the driver for them.
    Is this normal?
If it is then maybe I should get another brand in the future.

    Gaga Hello

As you know Toshiba have many different models of laptops, and I think that it is not easy to design and test many updates especially for older models. In my opinion, you should check what new portable has the same or similar graphics card and try to install the latest driver designed by Toshiba.

Unfortunately I put t know one you have and don't know if the new driver will be working properly, but you can try anyway.

  • Satellite P10 and the graphics card driver updates

    Hello

I'm a newbie on this forum, but let's get to the point. I have Toshiba Satellite PSP10E (PIV 2.8HT 800 Mhz, 1 GB of system memory bus speed and UNFORTUNATELY a GF 5600go...).
My (not only) problem is that Toshiba use engineering video BIOS version and it does not have the latest drivers for the geforce series. The most up-to-date driver that really works is the last of the series 5xxx... so you can see that none of the newer games can be run with a performance on this map... because older drivers don't use really not (available at directx9.0) 2.0 pixel shader. It would not be a problem if Toshiba would give an update not only BIOS system, but also the bios video (new system BIOS contains the same old video bios.

I really had to settle for playing games that are 2 years old? First of all pay a lot of money for a witch of the computer has enough power to run some new but don't care support Toshiba for this...

I was the proud owner of a Toshiba laptop, but I'm not! If I had to choose again, I decide to buy computer Toshiba...
My Question: is that Toshiba will do something with this problem? Someone knows how to help? Thanks for any help (I have not found such a problem in this forum, sorry if it has been the front sign) and sorry for my English (hope that's understandable)
    My video Bios is: v4.31.20.56.A6

    Hello

We know that you can not install the drivers downloaded from the download page of GF because of the restriction of material. It's not only the Toshiba models, but also on other producers of portable and if you visit the download page of graphics cards, it is always recommended to download drivers designed by the manufacturers of portable.

I think that nobody can explain why it's because I'm sure you know the reason. The performance of the graphics card will always be a topic of discussion and you will always want to have maximum performance for games with laptop, although performance may not be the same as on the desktop where you have the possibility to change the graphics card and install the latest drivers.

Because of this, I think that it is really unnecessary to some turbulence here. Believe me, you can buy what you want, but after two or three years you will be always satisfied with something.

In any case, good luck and enjoy life!

As for your question regarding the upgrade of the GPU. It would normally be at your disposal you have a CTO laptop, but I do not see the graphics chips that support unit that would make a significant difference in your machine. I'm you provide a link to the HP Support document: HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide of where if you look on page 3 you will see the graphics supported for your computer.

    Hello @heaterguy,

I understand that you are at the point where you are looking to replace your graphics card. You can update your graphics card. Just using a PCE Express x 16 graphic card and remember to keep in mind the requirements of power currently according to the Specifications of HP Pavilion p6240f Desktop PC , you have a 300 Watt power supply. If the graphics card, you choose requirement more power than you need to update as well.

Also, be sure to disable in the BIOS of your integrated graphics.

I hope that I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Satellite L50-B-23F - how to move to the AMD graphics card

On this laptop its says I have intel graphics card integrated over an Amd Radeon r7 m260 but for some reason its only using low-end intel graphics when I'm games. When I right click on the desktop and my window appears there is a tab to configure switchable graphics but the custom of thing open.

Someone at - it ideas as to why its not switching or can it put me myself.

    Thanks in advance

In Catalyst Control Center Power, click on select Maximum Performance when it is plugged
Then in global settings of Switchable Graphics also choose maximize Performance
Then click on the switchable graphics Application settings

Now, you would be able to add an application (for example a game) that could use this graphics card settings
Simply tap the exe of the game and add to the list of applications.
After that, you will see the exe file in the list. Click the graphics settings and set it to high performance.

By the way: this YouTube clip could be interesting...

  • My Z500 won't read the dedicated graphics card driver.

Or just got a new Z500, removed the BONE, it came with and Windows 8.1 is installed.

First of all, I had a problem that the screen was too low, so I fiddled with the driver and after removing and re - install the graphics driver Intel HD4000, I managed to get back to normal.

However, I tried to install PES 2011 on it, and everytime I open its settings, it would give a warning that my system does not meet the minimum requirements. It would show that he only reads the HD4000 Intel.

So, normally, I try to re - install the nVidia drivers and install new and others, but to no avail. I tried to check in the BIOS, but I'm only given two options: switchable graphics or UMA and not knowing what UMA is I chose the switchable graphics option.

    Any ideas what to do?

I'd be happy to offer more information, if necessary. It has a GT 740 M btw.

  • Question about graphics card driver updates on Satellite U300 series

I am installing Spyder2 Pro on Vista Home premium 32-bit, but I have problems with this load in CS2. I contacted Colorvision and they suggested that if the video card is more than 6 months old I would need the last update. I searched toshiba/intel Web sites and could not update, when I download and try to install it I have the version more up-to-date, which is 7.14.10.1263.

    Can anyone help!

    Hello

I think you probably have an error during the download of the driver. As I know the latest version of the Intel VGA for Vista Home Premium 32 Bit drivers is '7.14.10.1409 '. Please click [HERE: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2301&OS FullName = windowsvista + * + Home + Premium % 2 C + 32 - bits + version & lang = eng & strOSs = 153 & submit = Go % 21] and download this driver to update your graphics driver to the latest version.

Would be recognizing some comments if the update worked for you.

  • Satellite A60-106: ATI graphics card driver update

I have a laptop Satellite A60-106 and I was told to update my driver graphics ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP, otherwise I won't be able to view the photos taken from the video.

I'm unable to locate these updates on the Toshiba site. Nobody knows where and how I can get this update?

    Hello

I don't know if I understood your question right, but you are not able to look at images from your video camera to Mr. I'm wrong?
I put t think that the graphics driver has something to do with this action.

What applications did you use? How did you exactly connected the external device? Did you get any error messages?

Just for the info: I used last time on my laptop the driver from the Omega.net Web site. But on the Toshiba site I found a news that Toshiba recommended to use only the Toshiba drivers graphics and different drivers, you can install it at your own risk!

  • Why not the AMD graphics cards on the list work supported with Premiere Pro CS6 or CC?

I try to get my Radeon HD 7970 to work with Premiere Pro CS6.  The official compatibility list shows that I can use this card to accelerate the Mercury playback engine.  After Effects and Photoshop CS6, both recognize the card, but Premiere Pro won't.  I tried every fix there, I contacted support and they assured me that it should work with CS6 and CC.

I tried a fresh install of my OS and a new installation cs6, and then fully implemented to update the software.  I also tried the same thing with the trial of CC, which tells me that CC is actually just CS6 who was apparently a waste of time.

What should I do to get a support card to actually work with Premiere Pro?

My OS is updated, I installed the latest drivers for my GPU and also tried a fresh install of the CS6 and CC... no chance whatsoever.

The GPP setting remains greyed out, regardless of what I do.

It seems that AMD fixed their drivers and they now work correctly with Windows 8 Pro x 64. I'm guessing that TeamViewer put pressure on those who is too generic to actually work with Premiere Pro CC.

They work for something else, but not here...

  • Satellite U400: Where is the latest graphics card driver

I just checked on the Toshiba drivers and they are from 2008.
Where can I get the new drivers that Toshiba has fixed a few bugs and a few changed with the colors?

Here is mine it is old > 10/09/08 * Display Driver Intel Windows XP 6.14.10.4953 World Wide *.

    Hello

On the page of the Toshiba driver, you will always find the latest driver for Toshiba.
If there is no other driver out then this means that the other drivers don't exist.

According to your assignment, the graphics chip is designed by Intel.
Therefore, you can take a look at the Intel page for a newer driver for this chip version.
