• Why is the number of previous visits so high in the Security tab of the certificate information window when you visit a secure https site (in my case 13.400) even after deleting cookies?

  When you go to www.gmail.com and I right click on the colorful gray "google.com" showed left next to the address bar then it shows you the details of the certification. When you click on 'other info' and then go to the Security section he show you how many times you visited the site before. In my case it say zero, but this is not the case with my friend, his nuber of previous visits said 13,400 even after deleting cookies and history.

  Can someone tell me what this means and if anyone other than himself is perhaps looking at his email because he is a little worried now.

  One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

• InDesign keeps crashing and corrupting my files

  InDesign crashes on a regular basis, whenever it crashes I lose the last file that was open when the accident occurred. I can not re - open this file, if I try to open it, indesign crashes again and again. What happened 7 times in the last two months. I'm getting really sick of having to re - build complicated art files.

  It doesn't seem to be any consistency to when it crashes. Most of the time however, ID crashes right after (or as) the file that I worked on is closed.

  I'm on CC 2015 the latest version and I'm running OS X 10.9.5. (don't have not updated to Yosemite yet)

  I just tried to re - open file corrupted todays again once and it came with the following info on "an invalid image. If I press Yes or no, it won't let me open & ID crashes again.

  Please help urgently!  Is there any way I can recover my file corrupted from today?

  Oh also I spoke with tech support and they said that this is the fix for the current version of indesign.

• My creative cloud LightroomCC my Presets in my pictures files and I want to change the C:\Users\Frann-Serenity\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Develop file.  I think it takes to develop, but not sure. I don't know how the Lightroom folded

  I think that the presets should be installed in the C:\Users\Frann-Serenity\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom and perhaps even deeper in the folder to develop. I'm not sure because I'm a newbie at this. I have no idea how my Lightroom file put in my C:\Users\Frann-Serenity\Pictures.  I have to install Presets but cannot get to work because they land in my pictures folder.  Any help would be appreciated.   The presets are stored in images when you have an option enabled in Lightroom preferences.

  So, if you do not want them to be stored in the pictures folder, you must follow the steps below:

  1. go in the Lightroom preferences > Presets tab

  2 uncheck "save stations with this catalog" and click Ok.

  Then, the presets would be stored in default C:\Users\UserName\Appdata\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\.

  Have you tested the common graphics card driver that is part of the Win7?
  Uninstall the graphics driver in Device Manager.
  Restart the unit. Now go to Device Manager and mark the graphic card.
  Then update the driver using the automatic option.
  Usually the Win 7 should automatically find the most recent driver available and certified.

• Firefox crashes even after a clean install of Windows

  My Firefox keeps crashing. It starts up ok, but still crashes shortly after. I do not see a pattern in accidents, it seems random. Strange thing is that I had this problem before with Win7 and now he persists after installation clean full of Win10. The two hard drives formatted, no old files or anything left... It crashes in safe mode, too. On Win7, I could get locked out of the browser. Sometimes he would start crashing whenever I started the browser.   Seems that the problem is solved by itself. Not a single accident today. I don't have any idea of that which could have fixed, or what caused it in the first place. Curious, but no matter, I'm a happy camper now. I wish all support forums it was effective.

• The BIOS clock does not work after upgrade to Windows 7

  XW4300 workstation has been recently updated to Windows 7 from XP pro.  After the update, the system clock did not keep accurate time, then I entered the BIOS Setup and set the time here.  After several hours, I rebooted, entered the BIOS configuration and noticed clock BIOS had not changed.  I replaced the CMOS (CR2032) battery with three different batteries and BIOS clock does not always change.

  Occasionally, Windows 7 system clock will synchronize to the BIOS clock, which creates the incorrect time in Windows. I can see these events in the system event log.

  Is it possible that this problem is related to the Win 7 upgrade, or is it a problem without a report?  Suggestions to control or fix the BIOS clock beyond what has been done so far?  If I can't fix the BIOS clock, is it possible to prevent the synchronization of the clock in the BIOS Win 7?

  I have not found a CLRRTC jumper on the 4300.  Is there a jumper to reset the password (E49), and a CMOS reset button.

  However, I tried to reinstall the battery with power supply cable disconnected, and it reset the CMOS all anyway.  Reset the CMOS seems to have solved the problem.  BIOS clock has now begun to follow the exact time again.  I rebooted several times now, and the time is now correctly.

  I have two accounts, one I've appointed administrator and the other with my personal name. I checked in regedit where UserProfile is listed and there are files ending in 02 and 03 and they list the paths to these two accounts. The missing 01 is probably as a result of the problems I had to get rid of test-testpc that appeared on my computer when he returned for repair by the manufacturer. • I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro XI through Dell, the it - installed but the Basic program starts not even - the only thing I can do is open the forms - I'm tired of working with foreign personnel to solve my problems can someone seated?

  2 weeks as my hard drive (XPS18) locked Windows me - I could not go to a restore point, I couldn't do anything.  So I had to start from scratch - re-load the operating system - windows 8.1 Pro 8.1.  Then it is time for reloading MS Office 2013 - I got my Dell/MS product key - but had to get involved Microsoft (do whatever they did) to allow me to put it back in my current product key.  All resolved, then is the time to go to my Adobe product - I've contacted Dell and I shared the purchase and shipment showing slip $ 299.00 for the Adobe product.  I assumed that it is in my digital library - I could not find any digital library - so I called the customer support number (Overseas) and they couldn't help me.  Bottom line, I paid for an installed electronic product and don't have no way to access to re - load.  After several days and calls - I am at my last appeal on October 23 in the morning - bottom line the tech rep could not find any information on my Adobe product.  In order for me to get my business online, I ended up buying another Adobe product price still an another $ $299,00.  Yes, it was a new version of what I had, but again he did have to pay full price, even if it's an upgrade, then after installation, integration, and the Fund - I asked for documentation for the Adobe product and the license key.  He said "do not worry about this, all you have to do is call the customer service number and we will help you" - well this isn't enough for me - because you can see above what happened earlier and I am complete was dissatisfied with the results.   I've been a long-time buyer/user and believe in the Dell product - but the service the customer to your loyal customers really sucks!  As a consumer of your product (s), all that I pay because I should receive the required documentation, the numbers of license and any information related to that hardware, software and firmware - I should have a way to access.

  I was manually copying my photos my iPhone6 on my PC (Windows 10) and deleted the.   You should be able to open JPEG files, the. AAE files are the sidecar files that contain changes.

  Are the photos always in your phone? If so you could import it onto the computer.
