  • Message "the cartridge cradle cannot move." But he moves normally.

I have a PSC 1510 all-in-one printer and my operating system is Windows 8.1 64bits. (I used to have Windows XP and I had no problem for many years).

I downloaded the correct driver (AIO_CDB_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_140_408) of HP and installed successfully.

When I try to print something, the solution Center HP said that "the cartridge cradle cannot move." But there is no jammed paper or any damage.

I contacted HP through the phone and they had me reset the printer in a different way (by pressing the buttons cancel & paper together, etc.).

When I unplug driver and do this reset, my printer prints an alignment page in the first place and then running normal. When I plug it to the computer without turning it off, it works normally again. But if I turn the computer or printer and then turn on. I must apply the same reset procedure.

    Could someone help me?

    Hi MissTeriLynn,

I worked on this problem for about a month. As I said above, when I reset the printer, it works normally (prints of computer and copy individually). When I plug it into the computer, he continued to work on (print computer and copy individually). However, if I turn the computer or the printer off and on again, it does not normal (not print from the computer, no copy individually; just blinking red lights on the printer and the warning message on the screen).

I plugged the printer on another computer of Win8.1 without having to install HP components. It worked normal. Later, I plugged my PC disappointment once again.

I thought that the source of the problem could be HP Solution Center. And bingo!

Somehow, the HP software does the firmware of the printer get confused. I uninstalled all HP components and I have no more problems. I can't use all the features of my printer (scan especially functions), but I'm okay with that. If a new version of the HP Solution Center for Win8.1 appears, I'll try it.

Nevertheless, thank you for your response.

Test printing with the HP scan doctor indicates eveything OK.

Tried to foil alignment after attempting a print and same result, Sections C, D and E tilted.

Is it Terminal? Do I have to pull the plug and look for a replacement?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Hello OG53

It doesn't look good if you receive as many different errors. It doesn't sound like the printer may be on its way. Try the rest of the article below, even if it will deal with transport, which may be causing the cartridges to print at an angle. It doesn't look like a problem with the scanning mechanism both with ink system. You want to be looking for a replacement.

  • printer all in one psc 2210xi while trying to align the cartridge HP (Vista) "paper mismatch".

I changed a cartridge and try to align the cartridge but keeps paper be ejected with message "paper mismatch" on the front panel of the printer.  Same paper and size I always use but I changed out, unplugged and reset the printer and made sure pc the printer settings are compatible with the paper type and size as well.  Still no luck.  I know that this printer is older but it was gently used

In fact, I had already read the news you mentioned me and it did not apply to my situation of paper.  I was using standard letter size paper and had not changed type and size.  What I found useful is a blog that mentioned by changing the properties of the printer; printing preferences; type.  I got the paper type "automatic" and I changed to "plain paper" as the recommended blog.  After that, I was able to align the ink cartridges and print as usual.  I still have no idea what caused the problem in the first place since the previous setting was what I always used.  Thanks for your interest.

  • How to stop the printer to ask the cartridge by aligning

    1 printer HP Deskjet F4190, {content removed} (bought in 2008)

    2 Windows 7

    3 no error message

My printer is often asked to align the color and black dimensional although I haven't changed. How can I stop these? I'll make the alignment of each time I have change or check the cartridges.

In this way the printer prints a lot of pages for nothing and takes more time.

    Best regards, Erkki Kataja

I would start by reseating the cartridges and clean the contacts. This document is here on the alignment page to print often. It will give you the following steps to try to resolve the problem of troubleshooting. I hope this helps.

  • HO Officejet 6110 all-in-one printer gives a message to check the cartridges

The above printer has always worked well so far.  I have a message to Remove and check cartridges. I deleted them several times,

turned the printer market and unplug the power cord, etc.  The same message keeps coming up.  I changed one of the cartridges-

put in a new color cartridge and it is still there.

What can I do?   Help!  !

    Hello Renee,.

Have you contacted HP about this?

Maybe they're the best people to answer that for you because they know the material side of the printer.

We use HP cartridges or are they off-brand?  Sometimes, off brand cartridges do not recognize properly.

My recommendation would be to get the entrance of HP on it.

    Best regards

  • DJ 5000 - get a message "replace the cartridge.

All started to do this out of the blue today.

About three months ago I had to replace the whole system of ink due to a leak in the transport.  It is the only work that has been done on this subject in the past three years or so.

Today, I start getting a cartridge 'replace' in the cyan color slot.  So I put in a basket full, even if this watch full still about 25 percent.  No help.  No change in error.

So, I exchanged one on my 5500.  Still getting the same error "Cartridge to replace" on the Panel.  (Same cartridge does not give an error in 5500, btw.)

So, I removed all cartridges and put back them in one at a time.  Same problem, if I started with Light Cyan or black.

So I put in a new and remaining cartridge to run.  The same problem.

The only way I can get out of this error is to remove the paper and reboot the machine with the cartridges removed, then put them in one at a time when it says 'insert cartridges.  Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't.  Matter of fact, it's only twice worked up after trying it a few dozen times.  And when that happens, maybe I can print before I get the "Replace cartridge" again and have to go through all the steps again.  Only the Cyan cartridge asked to be replaced. all the others are fine.  I occansionally get a message of "Resettlement" of the ink cartridge Light Cyan but let's get when I reinstall the tank.  It seems to be a very intermittent issue, but I'm not sure if it's in the contacts where the tank made contact or...?

I removed the cartridge door on the back and looked at the pins where the cartridges sit and can see nothing weird or distorted.

This just started happening in the last few days or more.  As I said, replacing the ink system, nothing else was hit.

Someone has ideas of what to check next?  David Zuts, any idea on this?

So I swapped the circuit and he took all the ink very well.  Print the last impression I need right now and no problems.  I call this problem!

So now I guess I'll put a meter on the circuit board and see if I can find the bad connection.

    Thank you!

  • Photosmart D110a. Error message: at least one of the cartridges has a problem.

Photosmart D110a, Windows 7 32-bit, error message: at least one of the cartridges has a problem. Will print black if the deleted color cartridge. New cartridges does not solve the problem. Everything suggests not tried twice, cleaning, disconnect, etc..

There is a document with the right information on how to help solve this problem located here.

It seems that you have already made certain steps to help with this. If the printer is under warranty, then you may want to contact the HP Support on this device.

  • HP Envy 110 Series printers and I tried several times to reprint documents m in different qualities and align the cartridges, but the lines of words have dragged through them

I have a HP Envy 110 series printers and I tried several times to reprint documents m in different qualities and align the cartridges, but the lines of words have dragged through them and are not clear. Much of the document is blurry and cut through. Any suggestions?

Read this article, he describes some steps on how to use the printer utility that came with the printer to run a few steps that might improve the print quality, including cleaning the print cartridge and other procedures.

  • is there a way to stop the print alignment test page after changing the cartridge?

Seems that this alignment page uses a lot of ink. Is it really necessary every time?

    Deer,

HP printers can ignore alignment and even fail the alignment and print still sometimes.  Alignment is very important after each replacement of the cartridge that you get the best print quality.  The alignment should not use much ink at all.  Misalignment could cause problems of color etc., fuzzy, flat, spots, lines...

I highly recommend to do the alignment.

The type of printer it is and that is if it can even be canceled would depend on how to cancel alignment.  Usually, it has pressed a button, then press one another on the front panel of the printer while it is lining up.  The web page of troubleshooting HP all-in-one print cartridge and alignment for the color copier product families has without going through the alignment of the cartridge as the last section.

  • I just replaced the black cartridge on my HP Officejet 6310 printer and get a message that I need to replace the cartridge. What is the problem?

Officejet 6310 printer will not print.

Again - the cartridge and DATED?  Did you remove all plastic covering the nozzle before insert?  Have you read in the Quick Installation Guide that you have when you first set up the printer?

If still no joy and it's a genuine HP cartridge, contact HP and get them to replace it.
