  Just got my T400s a few days previously and very happy with it!  But one thing that bothers me is when I unplug ac power chords, screen goes white, then back on. The same thing when I plug ac power chord back in.  I posted this question in another forum (NBR) and someone replied that this problem has disappeared after a clean install of the operating system without Thinkpad utils.  So, it has something to do with one of the utils.  BUT I can't find anywhere how to disable this behavior.  Please advice!

  I had the same problem, I resolved it by disabling the fast start feature in the control panel:

  1. go to Control Panel-> Power Options-> choose what the power buttons do

  2. uncheck the enable quick start

  3 proceed to a complete stop by calling the shutdown /s /t 0 in the console, or create a shortcut with this command and run

  4 turn on the computer, now the headset should work ok :)

  I have a fairly new laptop Pavilion g6 and I left it network connected for a few days. When I came to use it, the screen was very dark, so I cannot read. He lit up back to normal me when I unplugged it. Reconnect and the display then slowly dims.

  Try a hard reset as follows:

  (1) remove the battery and unplug the DC power adapter.
  (2) press and hold the power button for more than 15 seconds.
  (3) plug the DC power adapter (leave the battery for now)
  4) press the power button

  Have you noticed this flickering on external monitor or laptop screen?
  Or perhaps both?

  If you have noticed this only with the help of an external monitor then you can check if a PIN to use 2 adapter would solve this problem due to a grounding problem.

  But note; It is only a suggestion to solve the flickering on external monitor.

  If your monitor internal flashes then you must contact the ASP in your country for a control.

  Have you tried to remove and reinsert the battery while your device is connected to a charger? If not try and see if it blinks.

  Hello, I bought a laptop from lenovo y50-70 about a month ago, model 59445062, and I noticed a strange problem when using flash player content on Web sites.   It seems that you are not able to turn on the laptop and tried to solve the problem

  Please perform steps listed to find out if it is a hardware or software problem below:

  1. remove all cables and devices, disconnect them and try to turn on the device

  2. check the LED light situation and ensure the action of the spring button / stop is normal

  3 Exchange with a well known power cord and the AC adapter

  4 Pack no adapters are available, check if the power adaptor is slightly warm

  Note: This will give us an indication that the power adapter could be good

  5. do you know if the laptop was in battery or power adapter when you used the last time

  Note: Make sure that there is no spill of liquid or cutting

  6. check if the Port of the AC adaptor is loose/broken

  Note: If the laptop is not on even with a power adapter well known, this confirms the hardware failure with the system board or power DC Circuit

• iPad 2 Mini - Lcd shows the Apple logo for 2 seconds and disappears but reloading works when I plug in the charger.

  The title should cover everything about what I'm going to tell you.

  The screen is black, while the iPad is running when I plug it into my mac, I see all my data and I can hear the sound of my messages/screenshot or screen when charging.

  The only time I see the Apple logo for 2 sec is when I restart the iPad now Power + Home at the same time.

  Would appreciate if you guys could help.

  NVM, I found the cause of this. This is a backlight problem. Apparently the filter or the fuse has been damaged and needs to be replaced... another $ 40 on the iPad repair...
