the driver is corrupting the locked pages, follow-up structure

Host: Vista Ultimate sp1 OS 32-bit on a 64-bit computer. VMware workstation 6.5.0 build 118166.  Things work very well for a long time, now, I still get a BSOD when starting a comment system.  Watch blue screens ' driver is corrupting the locked pages followed structure. ", and" in memory of the bios options disable the capture or shading.  MICAELA a few days ago, I added a former removable drive to the system, I have removed the physical hardware and still have problems.   Found this link... http://communities.VMware.com/thread/181400 , and http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/256010 . Added the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management, tracklockedpages reg-dword = 1.  VMWare started, started the virtual machine... no problem this time... no BSOD.  According to the links, a BSOD should appear that shows me the faulty driver... no BSOD.  The links also tell to remove this diminished registry keys, the problem is corrected.  Being that guests will not start without the key, and I'm not getting the BSOD, I'm not sure I should delete this key.  What is the danger to leave, why did I get BSOD and how to track down why I was getting the BSOD as well as the "locked pages?   Thank you.

What is your host who hangs with a BSOD?

VMware Workstation 6.5.1 comes out and is a free update.  Try to upgrade to 6.5.1.    Since you have questions, I suggest to uninstall manually all VMware of your host, remove the registry key you added, restart and then by installing the 6.5.1 package.
