The envelope feeding

Hello

I have a HP AIO inkjet printer, running wireless in Windows 8.

Normal printing is fine, but I am unable to get the power envelope works correctly.

Whenever I am trying to print a word envlope there simply a continuous supply of the State Bar, with no printed address content appearing.

If someone has had this problem and is there any resolution?

Concerning

John

Hello

It seems that the printer performs a check of size and type of paper before printing with ink. The printer is to find an inconsistency in the driver settings and the size (envelopes) media loaded in the printer.

Make sure that the print driver settings correspond to the size of the envelope.

I bought a new all-in-one Epson Wireless WF-3540.  So new Epson technical support people had one to test my problem.  I like it a lot because it has two trays cassette for 250 pages each, and a page break back.  For the love of the work I do in this description I use the back form feed on the Epson only.

Suppose I have a business letter in Word 2007 using Windows XP Pro.  My default printer is a HP 932 C.  I click on Mailings, Create, envelope and print it.  The result is the number 10 envelope with the address of the left retour.3,.3 of the top and the address of destination 2 inches high and 5 inches from the left.  Exactly the way I want it.  A selection button.

Suppose I have install the new Epson WF-3540.  I opened the business SAME letter in the same Word 2007 using Windows XP Pro.  This time around with the Epson WF-3540, I followed the same procedure for click mail merge, Create, envelope and print.  The result is an envelope of number 10 with the return address 1.5 inches from left to right top et.4.  The destination address is 3 inches from the left and the top 2.25.  The non-professional delivery address looks and interferes with the USPS standards.

I worked on the problem for two days.  I was on the phone with Epson for a total of four hours.  Here are the various attempts to set this right using the Epson WF-3540.

    1. in the Ribbon to create open envelopes, click options, and set the margins for the return and destination addresses as I would like.  I always use the et.3 valeur.3 return address and the destination address in 5 and 2.  I put these values in the options, click OK.  Print the envelope, and it is printed as I've described above with Epson.  In looking at the options for envelopes that they were changed to Auto.

    2. I have a test with the help of the same letter of businesss, Word 2007 and Windows XP.  I set the default printer to the HP.  This time I select envelope, add to the document.  I see an image of the envelope, watching leaders aside, it looks I want.  I close Word 2007, without saving the changes.  I have change the default printer to the Epson, open Word, the same letter from the company and select the envelope in the document.  It seems to appear in the same strange settings how it prints.

    3. I tried to change the margins of the envelope in the document with Epson as default.  When I try to print it throws an error telling me that I am trying to print outside margins.

What are the effects of the behavior of the default printer?  Why the change in the appearance of the envelope both printed and in the document when I change printers.  What does the print driver? has to do with the formatting?  The installation of the Epson gives something in the registry that control margins almost anything.

Epson told me there is no problem, but they are ready to buy the printer back to me.  Remember that they don't even have one to test on.

I tried adding some dummy printers, without the actual printer and using the drivers only.  For example, I added an Epson ActionLaser 1100.  When I set it by default and use the same letter sales and Word 2007, I click on the envelope and add it to the Document, the addresses on the envelopes are exactly where I wait until they are, using the ruler on the side.

What is - this subject a new printer is to control this mess?  I'd love to keep him.  I do a lot of letters and need the rear feed and must be able to one click printing envelopes.

I had the same problem with my Epson WF-3540. Came to this site looking for the answer after the Epson site doesn't seem to have an answer. After reading the posts, I went to the printer, and I gave it a try more. I found what seems to be a solution but not transparent, that it worked.

I noticed that when I tried to print the envelope property printer box shows the paper letter size (8 1/2 x 11) and not an envelope (#10). I changed the setting as the skin #10 and checked manually minimize margins. I then used the button Add presets save this as # 10 envelope as a new preset. This allows to print the envelope in the current printing of the page with the ability to use almost the entire surface of the envelope. You then switch to printing standard predefined when you are finished.

  • Black ink on the edges of the envelope

I am printing small envelopes & make me smears of black ink on the edges.  It seems that the ink is on the edges of the paper feeder/rolls. It doesn't seem to be a way to clean these rollers.

I have an officer 6500 Wireless using Windows 7.

I cleaned the print heads using the tools

I think I found the solution.  I tried to print envelopes using the 'better' configuration.  I guess this setting must crack down on the paper/envelope harder than an "automatic" setting when feeding it to print.

    I made these changes:

    New automatic printing settings

Placed the flap of the envelope inside, then pressed the edge to flatten it.

I was able to print envelopes.

Thanks for your suggestions and advice.

  • Print on the envelope paper

I have created 4 "x 9' standard size 'door card' in MS Word."  When I print this document to the 'Envelope' pre-selected on the 8600 printer paper size, height 1/2 "copy is empty.  It will not print to the edge.  Print preview is also blank on the top of page 1/2 ".  I tried 'everything' for this problem.

If I print the same document, but a document 8.5 "x 11" 8.5 "x 11" paper, it prints correctly all the way to the top. "

    Suggestions?

    The store owner

I am betting that with the old printer you need to define a custom paper size so he can feed. With the 8600, the custom paper size function has been removed. I bet that if you assign the printer to use another driver, it will work as did the 3180. This post I've done will be to guide you through the process. Let me know what happens.

The padlock just means it's a narrative that uses a secure connection. It is unlikely to have nothing to do with your inability to pass messages. Who is the account provider?

  • How to change the RSS feed without losing subscribers

I am currently using blubrry to download my podcasts. I'm not the host through them, but rather on my own site and using my feed to send to iTunes (http://racingdudes.com/feed/podcast/). However, I spent to SoundCloud to start my hosting podcasts. I added my last three episodes of the podcast on SoundCloud and they integrated into my website. However, how can I change the RSS feed of my original stream to my new SoundCloud feed without losing all my subscribers and sides?

My first thought was to connect to iTunes Connect and my current RSS is such a list, swap out for my new. Which will work? Is it that simple? It seems that I read many ways outdated, complicated to do this process just make sure, if this is the newest, easiest way?

    Appreciate your help. Thank you!

In order to keep your subscribers, you must either add the "itunes: new-feed-url' to the original feed, or launch a redirect 301 on your server: ideally both." These will change to the new food store and also your subscribers will be transparently redirected - they won't even notice. The complete method is explained in detail here: http://wilmut.uk/move

If you are unable to change the power supply and also cannot implement a 301 redirect, then using Podcasts Connect will redirect the store but not subscribers redirect. In this case, the only option is to include an announcement in the last podcast on old food (you could do a special episode) announcing the change and ask people to re-subscribe from the shop page.

  • What is the small lock shown on the envelope of account symbol?

  • HP Envy 7640: When copying using the document feeder

When I copy in black ink by using the document feeder there is a vertical line either on the left or right side of the copy. It ranges from which side. I cleaned the scanner glass. There is no line if I put the paper on the scanner glass instead of using the document feeder.

Hello and welcome to the HP support community!

Lift the tray and look at the end of the width of the scanner glass.  (Even on the side of the paper feeds through).

You will find a small slit of a window that is the same width as the window of flat glass.  Generally, you will find a piece of paper or dirt in the exact spot you see the line appear!

Use a can of compressed air, or gently move away with a soft brush.

I hope this will fix the problem!

  • Measurement of the envelope of the AC

    Hi guys,.

    I have a cDAQ-9188 with a NI9205 analog input module. I am able 3 AC 10 kHz differential signals and two of them are amplitude modulated at a low frequency of<1Hz through="" mechanical="" movement="" of="" a="" rotary="" transformer.="" does="" anyone="" know="" a="" way="" to="" measure="" the="" envelope="" of="" the="" modulated="" signals="" in="" a="" simple="">

I was thinking about sampling to ~ 25 kHz and and calculate RMS values each 500 samples, however, in time, I get the 500 samples the mechanical system moves a few (2) so the data are useless.

The brute force approach would be to sample at 25 kHz for the complete tour of the mechanics, but gives me a large amount of data and my tampons could get cluttered with her. Even with these data, I'd still need to extract the envelope in some way.

I look forward to any entries.

    Thanks, Felix

    Felix,

Let's look at some numbers: 20 RPM is equivalent to 0.333 tr/s or 1200 (intervals of 0.1 °) / s. So there are 833 US for unit rotation of 0.1 degree. It's time 83 10 kHz signal cycles.

The next question is: Can you get information good range of 83 cycles?

During the sampling of a 10 kHz to 25 kHz signal you get 2.5 samples per cycle, or samples are apartment 144 °. The image below shows that sampled data resembles a 25050 sampling frequency. I adjusted the sampling frequency slightly so that the sampling points are not repeated exactly every cycle, as they do at exactly 10 and 25 kHz. Unless the two signals is derived from the same clock, there will be a slight frequency shifts.

Notice that none of the points shown sample place exactly on the summits.

Extract only your Information.vi accepts an input signal and returns the amplitude, frequency and phase of the signal. I ran some tests to see how much data is needed to get good results.  The data displayed in the image above - 21 samples - set Gets the amplitudes with lower to +/-1% error. He treats (simulated) 3 seconds of data in a little more than half a second.

  • The envelope of the beat (coupled pendulum)

    Dear members,

With my USB6008 I measure the position of coupled pendulums. Fortunately, it works very well.

But I want to create the envelope of my measured of the curve (see photo).

I tried to do it with the help of the Butterworth filter VI and VI of peak detector.

All I got is the first part of the red line, then the black line. But I want to have the whole line is like the red line (see for example also here https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dateiine_envelope.svg).

Attached is my measured data. I would be very grateful if any of you can help me solve this problem!

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: Cannot scan from the document feeder

I'm unable to scan a document using the ADF.  This has never been a problem until I recently updated my OS from Windows 7 to WIndows 10.  Nothing I found online seems to solve my particular problem.  My printer is connected to my Lenovo ThinkPad W520 computer by USB, this is what I've learned so far:

    I can print without problem.

I can copy a document from the Board without any problems.

I am able to copy a document using the charger, so the charger seems to be working.

I am able to scan a document from the tray, then the scan function also seems to work.

I checked the updates and the printer indicates that the firmware and software are up-to-date.

What can I do to once again allow me to scan a document from the document feeder?  Your help would be much appreciated.

Yes, under "Source", I got "Use Document Feeder so burdened" and I got the beep signaling that the document is loaded in the feeder.  So, it wasn't the problem, but I do it thanks for trying to help out.

Fortunately, I finally found a solution, although it took a job.  I have reset the printer to its defaults, uninstalled the printer (and its drivers) from my computer, downloaded the latest HP drivers (even if the printer had stated that he was "aware" before all this effort) and reinstalled the printer from scratch.  A lot of work, but the printer works now as it did before my upgrade to Windows 10.

While I'm not a "techie" and do not really understand why things work the way they do, I hope that my efforts may provide ideas for others who may have similar problems after upgrading to Windows 10.
