  I understand from the description of the issue, you continue to receive notification of update of Java application on the computer of Windows 8. I will certainly help you in this regard.

  During installation of Java from Oracle, you have set to warn of new updates. You can check the Java settings via the control panel.

  You can enable or disable the update automatic pop up. However, you cannot make changes to receive contextual update on the moment.

  Try these steps to delete automatic update of Java:

  a. press the Windows key + X key to find the Control Panel in the lower left corner of the screen.

  b. double-click the icon 'Java'.

  c. click the 'Update' at the top of the pop-up window.

  d. click the checkbox on the left side of the screen, titled ' theself-checking of updates'.

  e. click the "never check" button in the warning box that appears on your screen.

  If the problem persists, it is better to contact the vendor of the application for further assistance.

  Check to see if the following is useful.

  Method 1: Disconnect all devices non-essential connected to the computer and restart. Check to see if it boots normally.

  I when even run some dos applications, which allows to work ok under XP mode full-screen, but when you use Vista or Windows 7. I can only rum these applications in a window.

  Vista + do not support a command prompt full screen, as indicated by the message. You can manipulate the available to the command window to specify the width and height to be as big as you want, but this isn't quite the same thing...

  The error you mentioned does not match the description of the usual Windows blue screen errors. When I put this error for a web-search, it has proved to be a common problem with some HP computers.   If this is the case, disconnect the hard drive power to the motherboard and the power.  Put a bootable CD in the CD/DVD drive and see what happens when the computer is turned on.  If you still do not move forward, then I would start looking for a replacement motherboard.
