The posible Scam Alert

I just got a phone call from a company saying that my computer had a problem with Microsoft updates. I have noticed no problem getting updates so I became suspicious. They (the appellant) wanted to access my computer and I turned him down. When I asked the appellant if he was with Microsoft it tells me they (his company) represent several companies and when asked if they have a web site it would give me a. Microsoft gives personal information such as phone numbers to other companies for this purpose, or that someone was fishing to steal personal information. If so is there a way to inform your clients of the present until someone to take.
Thank you James

It is a well known scam, Microsoft knows well. With
all names and phone numbers, who becomes very common
lately.

In addition to their money get on your part to do anything of any value,
If you leave them in your computer, which knows what losses they did are
where confidential information they stole.

So if you have done so, I highly recommend that you do both of the following
immediately:

1 do a clean reinstall of Windows.
2. change all of your passwords, especially banks or other
financial sites.

How can I set up Vista so that the PC does not switch to another window (for example the Spy Sweeper alerts) while I am playing a game?

Vista is not in control of this technique. Spy Sweeper needs to have an option to control that. If this isn't the case, then it is badly programmed. Flight of focus (go to another window) when it is actually needed is a big no-no for the design. I find this option, if I were you :)

I'm guessing that you're referring to a problem involving the Security Center that happens sometimes after update silent through updates of Windows to the new version of MSE... but it is also sometimes occurring after the updates of Windows 'monthly '.  Usually, but not always the problem occurs on computers running XP.

If the MSE icon is green then you should be protected and cannot ignore this Security Center warning. The problem resolves after a few days.   I do not pretend you disable the protection in real time on MSE, disable Security Center, restart the computer and then turn everything back on and restart once more... some users report this sequence fixed the problem.

    BUT

Remove all device has been installed to allow remote access.

You need to change passwords on accounts and examine your computer and all data within being compromised.

Your line of safer driving is to reformat/reinstall your operating system.

  • The background thread alert does not work

    Hello

I have read the article http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800332/800505/800608/... and followed the instructions to display the background thread alert. However, the alert is not displayed and IU locks (freezes). Specifically, the event of click/touch does not work, but the background thread continues to run.

Structure of my program. The main class (with the main function) extends UiApplication. I create in the function main instance of the class that extends the Application. This class starts backgorund wire. I am missing something or making the wrong way?

Sorry I have expired, I was going to write a long response to this.

But in short, remember that your automatic boot process and your user interface process, both through main with different parameters and are the BlackBerry is concerned, different applications.  So it may be an Application, the other can be a UiApplication, and both can enterTheDispatcher.

No two instances of the same Application, they are two different Applications.  They can be of different instances of the same Application class, but it is a special case.  It depends on what you create in the main routine.

You can play a merry dance with such things.  For example, having a UiApplication be started by the automatic boot process, and then the boot gui process can find it and just put in the foreground, rather than creating a new UiApplication.

Generally however people create a request and a UiApplication.  The problem with the use of these different applications, is that things like static are not shared.  Therefore, use something like RuntimeStore to share data.  It is a pain and something that if I can avoid.

It is perfectly possible to have a UiApplication, which starts when the device starts, runs Background Threads that are working in a network and is bought in the foreground by clicking on an icon.  Code is more complicated, but not much.  And you must have complicated the code when you run the network Threads background to deal with the unit off power and then power anyway.

    Hope that clarifies somethings.

  • Location of the server log alerts in 10G?

    Hi all

Can someone tell me what is the location for the log server alerts in 10g. As we in 11g in $GRID_HOME/log/servername location.

    Kind regards

    Manish Singh.

    Manish,

The server logs will be present under $GRID_HOME/log/host_name followed by different-2 folder containing different newspapers of the cluster process.

Who connect you talk too much? For each specific cluster component, you will need to go into specific folders of component and regain its newspapers.

    As:

    Grid_home, journal, host_name, crsd

    Grid_home, journal, host_name, cssd

  • deadlock occurred but not recorded in the log of alerts

We are using Oracle 11.2.0.3. We have a job every night that injects dynamic package through sql. We get some time after error. I've yet to be able to reproduce the error.

    "

    DECLARE

    *

    ERROR on line 1:

ORA-00060: Deadlock detected while you wait resource

    "ORA-06512: at line 24"

I checked log alerts to find more information on the impasse but did not find anything.

alert_db1.log | more grep ORA-00060 returns nothings. Please suggest what I can try.

The pieces that you have demonstrated (if they ' are actually the things that underlie your problem and not a miserable coincidence - you done overlaps with timestamps) suggest that you see a problem that should be reported as ORA-04020.  (viz: you are blocking on the library cache, not data).  This unexpected error number is perhaps a side effect of the problem called SQL dynamic within PL/SQL code.  I think you should spend your using Oracle trace file in a SR, who may be able to diagnose all the content as quickly as we could.

You shouldn't be falling and creating packages as part of the production, of course, the ideal strategy is to know why you're doing and working on a better way to achieve the same result.  In the short term, however, you can be able to identify what actions may be the cause of this problem.  This is a hypothesis that I would seek to based on the information received to date.

    (a) are there several different packages that could be dropped / re-created as part of the batch

    (b) is it possible for simultaneous sessions do this kind of work

    (c) is it possible that a single session could running A package that includes a line to remove the package B, while another session is running package B which includes a line to it left the package A

By the way, you can repeat the search for alert logs and trace files but look for ORA-04020 because this could be something that makes its appearance in the traces, but gets hidden by PL/SQL.
