  Using Windows XP/RH8/RSC1.3 on a WebHelp project

  The border style, select (Double, 4px) for images displays correctly on the page of the subject and in the preview, but when the project is compiled the border style is not the same thing as seen in HR and preview.

  The image / frame as seen in HR and the preview will appear first below.   The same picture/frame as seen in the compiled help is thereafter.

  It's the nature of a WebHelp project, or something else?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  That's all.   The image appears correctly in IE, but not in FFand Chrome.   Disappointing to say the least, but at least I have an answer.  Thank you.

  Honestly, this entire thread is a repost of this , I pressed "do not open pictures for this device" for when my iPhone connected. Now, I can't seem to find a way to import photos from that device because my phone is not displayed. Can anyone help?

  Have you tried the following:

  • Launch Photos manually once you connect your iPhone to the Mac.
  • Enter the ⌥⌘S tomato (command-option-S) key combination the sidebar visible.
  • Click on the camera in the sidebar when it appears.

  Your iPhone shows in iTunes or in the Image Capture?

  If iPhone doesn't appear at all, make sure it is properly loaded and unlocked, disconnecting, take a new photo, then reconnect it.

  • Start iTunes and confirm that you agree with the mac, the prompt on the iPhone.
  • Try a different USB port.
  • Try to force reboot the iPhone.

• I have the latest version of Lightroom CC2015.  My problem / question is with the Radial filter.  The circle, PIN and anchor point are not displayed.  Ask for help via Chat told me to uninstall and reinstall.  This does not help / correct the problem

• Empty boxes instead of images in the compiled help file (.chm)

  Original title: invisible Images in the CHM files

  I recently noticed that images are no longer displayed when I read a compiled help file (.chm).  There is a big empty space where the image should appear.

  I just noticed the problem today, but it could have been going on for a few weeks.  I say this because the SAME thing happens when I open an e-mail message that contains a picture in Outlook 2003 - no picture, just an empty area.  THIS problem lasts for a month or more.

  Some facts which may be relevant: 1) operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1.

  (2) it is completely up to date with Microsoft Updates.

  (3) the CHM files are associated with the Microsoft HTML Help executable

  (4) until a few weeks ago, no problem was obvious.

  (5) after that I reload problem

  (6) problem persists after as I clear my browser cache (long shot I know)

  (7) when I print a page from a CHM file, the image appears on the page printed as expected.

  (8) OTHER USERS ON THAT COMPUTER DO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM!

  I found the answer to my problem, and it's simple and infuriating at the same time.  It turns out that some time ago (months?), my Internet Explorer option to "View image" has been decommissioned (Tools > Internet Options > advanced > Multimedia > show pictures).  Because IE is not my default browser, I have not noticed.

  Now that I have activated "Show image", I can display images in IE, compiled Help Viewer and Outlook.  Obviously these other applications use IE as their html Viewer (why not?), and are under the same options, adapted to the internet, as the application host (bad idea!)

  Hi, so I recently got a new "XFX Radeon R9 285" graphic card PCI - E 3.0 and installed in my PC, I went to start it and the screen does not light. The PC boots, the fans run and everything just no display. It works with two other Radeon PCI-E graphics cards, but it does not start. 285 graphics card works in another computer, but will not work on this one. I tried to uninstall the old graphics card drivers and no luck.

  Since you had the card running in another computer, you must have connected the two power connectors 6 pins.

  If it were me, I would XFX Service contact customer (800-880-3225) to see what they have to say about your problem.  It may be a BIOS problem.  They need the specifications of your computer.

• Create DVD - scene titles are not displayed

  How can I get the titles of the scene to show in DVD creation.  I have Vista.  I can add video files fine, but when I burn the DVD, there is no scene titles - just the scene buttons.  I clicked everywhere and does not know how to do this.  Can I change the TITLE information - police, etc. - but it doesn't seem in any way to baptize the scenes - all other burning programs I've used - Roxio, Sonic - automatically display the stage (file name of the individual video clip) under the stage/clipping name when you add it to the project.

• Start page URL is not displayed when context-sensitive help is called

  IM using RoboHelp 11 to generate contextual WebHelp files. In the build settings, I selected the output folder and start under the name index.htm page.

  I have successfully the files generated and given the SSL! folder for developers. They use the API of Robohelp.

  However when they call a page with a map id, page, but instead of the left-hand navigation pane displays the link is displayed. Pane appears by clicking on the navigation.

  On checking the URL, index.htm is not present in the file.

  I tried manually adding index.htm to all URLS listed in the whcshdata.js. but then the navigation pane is displayed twice. When updating, it is shown as expected.

  It's there, but it's a little hidden in the amount of information.

  You must specify a CSH window. HR, you create a window and set on 2 panels. In the CSH call, let developers specify the name of the window.

  I just downloaded a free trial of Flash 2015, but when I started to work on a project, it does not display correctly. The canvas is shifted to the right.

  What can I do?

  I tried many things and I only got it right once, then again back like that.

  It's a laptop with i7 and 1 GB of nVidia.

  I've seen this before--has to do with the screen scaling on Windows. Set your display to 100% and see if it is resolved.

  The code in the HTML to the swf seems to be missing a whole bunch of settings, but I can't point the finger to say that it won't work.

  The best advice I can offer to get started is to use the code in the html page that Flash creates when you publish (be sure to have the html option selected in the settings of publication). You will see two sections of < script=""> and < noscript=""> which places the swf file in the html page and up in the head section will be one or two lines of code related to a javascript file: AC_RunActiveContent.js, you will need to include as well. Also, don't forget to copy the AC_RunActiveContent.js file on the server (Flash adds this file in swf file when you publish).

  See if it works for you.

  You can also configure a project basis including all titles.  When it's time to start a new project, open the template and change the name before starting to work.  In this way all the foundations are in place without having to implement the project with these basics every time.

• WatchOS3 does not display the title of alarm?

  I just upgraded to iOS10 and WatchOS3 and I noticed that if my sensors that I put on my iPhone turns off, they do not display the label. It just says: alarm and Snooze, and make buttons disappear. Am I missing something here? I'm sure they use to show when the alarms are triggered. I know it's a small thing, but it's weird not to see it that the alarm is for.

  You're not missing anything - it's how the application currently operates (10.0.1 and watch OS IOS 3).

• The project name will not update

  My html help project name will not change. I changed it to the project settings and the old display name in the title bar. I tried to change the title on the first page too with no luck.

  On the project tab, I chose Windows > new window. I typed the name I wanted in the window caption field. The next time I clicked on primary layout generate the name changed to my new name - yahoo! small victory.

• My firefox does not display the icon fonts!

  I use fontello.com for my web design project. But recently it does not display the icon.

  and the strange thing is that its OK my Firefox friends and just my PC have the problem.

  If Safe Mode is good, the more likely culprits are one of your extensions or incompatibility of the graphics driver. To work around the second question, you can disable use of the hardware acceleration Firefox to see if that helps.

  "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced

  In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

  It takes effect the next time you exit and restart Firefox.
