  Please follow the steps below and update us with the results.

  I have a local RDM that I try to use via a SATA controller but it doesn't seem to be a way to do it. I use VMware Workstation, create a virtual machine (hardware 10), add a new hard drive, select SATA and then gives me 2 options: create a new drive HARD virtual or select a created. I choose the second option, point to the ROW and get an error I should have selected "use a physical HARD disk. However I can't find this option anywhere.

  Answer to myself, the solution is to use the full-fledged vSphere Web Client. Other tools (including the workstation or the native client) cannot display all information (particularly in regards to the SATA controllers) or even that it is inadmissible claim.

  This could be a problem with the current data on the disk. I suggest clean you the partition info using the DD explained to the KB VMware: Troubleshooting in the add storage Wizard error: cannot read this disk partition information to see if that solves the problem.

  The MIME of a Microsoft Office Word (doc) file type is "application/msword".  Try to use when creating the attachment instead of application/octet-stream.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro A120-223 dual core and that's my problem with the keyboard.

  I get this irritating message at the start with BEEBS, where it says PXE - E61 Media Test Failure among others. Then I opened it everything and put everything back once again, the problem seems to go away at first and then comes back, this time, when everything starts up; the letter a?   I later bought a new keyboard, and all kind of went well until the 3rd day with my new keyboard. The problem is back!

  the first error message "PXE - E61 Media Test Failure" is more related startup, so another order of boot (HDD-> CDROM->-> NETWORK FDD) probably solves this problem.

  With regard to your controller keyboard problem: I think that the cable must be realigned PROPERLY since these errors come from a misaligned keyboard cable or a really damaged keyboard controller (where I am skeptical that the keyboard controller is broken).

  I know that you have taken additional precautions when connecting the keyboard, but this time took a few extra super uber mega special care when connecting it. Especially during the connection, check that the small black hook that keeps the cable is properly glued on the port.

  I recently bought a Poweredge T630 Server computer configured with a PERC H730 controller and two 1 TB SATA (raid 1) drives.

  The controller H730 being compatible with no dell certified readers, I bought 2 WD red label records to add more storage space.  The problem I have is it H730 one of the 2 WD drives senses as a 'foreign' drive  Under "available tasks", I see only two options, "Blink" and "Unblink.  Unlike other HDD WD, the controller does not allow me even an option to convert the capable RAID drive.  This only happens to one of the two WD drives. The WD with 'Foreign State' drive is not defective or damaged.  How can I clear the foreign flag on one of the two WD drives so that I can convert the two disks in RAID ready status.
