The readOnly property of shape after it is been unsuccessful.

Hi all

I had a form I created in Acrobat and adds some features using LiveCycle. By pressing a button on the form it was readOnly.

By saving in Acrobat with appropriate rights, in drive, I was able to fill out the form, make it readOnly and save.

It was working fine until I decided to do some editing in LiveCycle. I did this and still once saved in Acrobat with the appropriate rights.

Now in the drive, I am able to fill it, make it readOnly and save it but the next time I open the form in the Player, it is read-only no longer.

As you can see, it has been possible first and then broke. I have no idea why the form does not record the access of readOnly property.

He becomes readOnly when I press the button and stays like that until I close, however.

Any help would be much appreciated,

See you soon,.

  • Change the time of a title after it has been created

    Dr. Dan

    Welcome to the forum.

    To change the length of a title (or a still Image), just click + drag on the head or tail. I would also like to open the Info Panel, when I do this, so that I can see exactly what the change.

    Good luck

    PS - before you create a title, or import an Image, they can change the duration in Edit.Preferences > General.

  • Pop-up ball "this document has been sent to the printer." appears even after printing has been cancelled?

    Hello.

    I have a question about printing, the print cancellation and popup alerts in the taskbar on the print job.

    So, there were already a few documents waiting to be printed online (and print them) when I clicked on my document to print.

    But before my document to print, I decided to cancel it. I deleted my document from the list.

    I thought it was her - when you cancel a print job (remove the document selected in the list), the computer don't forget on this subject and that the document is not printed.

    I was surprised when I got back to the computer about an hour later to find a notification pop up, ball, alert, printer emerging from the printer in the taskbar icon - the alert said: "this document was sent to the printer. (with the name of my document) (But a paper printed my document be found.)

    What does that mean?

    This is a public computer and other computers were connected to the same printer as well - with people printing at the time their company, I canceled mine.

    It made me think that there is a chance that my document has been printed somehow despite the fact that I cancelled (but that is not entirely possible)?

    And that maybe someone by mistake, took my document with them after they finished their impression?

    But I still think that when you cancelled printing your document in the related window, it's a closed work and that the document is never printed. Is this correct?

    So my main question is if the message pop-up means "this document was sent to the printer."?

    It (the alert) has in fact been delayed and he should have appeard at the precise moment I hit 'print' on my document?

    That said this message: only literally only by clicking on "print" a document sent to the printer (but it can always be undone later)? Or this message also pointed out that the print job has been run?

    (I have read on this message a lot and learned that you can get rid of it, but I'm more interested in its meaning; I have not found almost anything on this subject again.)

    I know my question is looooong (when it's not that complicated, really :), but I would really like to clarification (mostly because it was a public computer, and I can't check on what happened with my doc (if anything even made)).)

    P.s.: this is Windows 7 on this computer.

    P.p.s.: is there a way to see how many times a document has been printed in a PDF?

    Thank you in advance for an answer.

    This means that the file was transmitted during the printer, but that the cancel command, you sent were received before the printer actually print.  This is a normal situation.

    With regard to how to see in a PDF document, how many times it has printed, no.

  • How does the JFileChooser "readOnly" property?

    The 'normal' behavior for a file selector usiing the UIManager "FileChooser.readOnly" is the default value of Boolean.FALSE:

    (1) a "New folder" button
    (2) when a file in the list is selected, you can use the F2 key to rename the file
    (3) or, if you click on a file already selected you may also rename the file

    When you use:
    UIManager.put("FileChooser.readOnly", Boolean.TRUE);
    then the behavior changes:

    (1) the "New folder" button is not displayed
    (2) you cannot rename the file using F2
    (3) you cannot rename the file by clicking on a selected file

    I'm curious to know how the property 'readOnly '?

    Looking through the source code for BasicFileChooserUI and MetalFileChooserUI, it was easy to see that the "New folder" button is not created when the "readOnly" property is true.

    However, I can't understand how the 'file name change". With the help of shortcuts, I was able to find the binding between the F2 key and an Action named 'editFileName '. However, I can't find where this Action is actually created in the user interface. I also can't understand how clicking on a selected file name invokes this Action.

    Does anyone know how to prevent that the click of mouse which allows the modification of the name of the file? Anyone know where the 'editFileName' Action is created and how this Action is called by a mouse click?

    It's only a matter of curiosity. Just when I think I understand Actions and shortcuts I find something like this that I don't understand.

    The following NBS:

    (1) the normal behaviour of a file picker
    (2) the "readOnly" of a file selector behavior
    (3) my attempt to simulate the behavior of "readOnly" of a file selector. This works except a mouse click always allow editing of the file name.

    Removing the partner of MouseListener (in a production implementation way unacceptable dependent) seems to do. • Module CVI written TestStand property, property value resets after the step execution.

    Hello

    I did a lot of research and find nothing relevant to the question that I have. I've created a DLL in CVI containing several functions I call TestStand. I also created a type of step customized for each function call. Every function in the DLL has a runtime version and a version edit-time. Time edition features each have a UI associated with them are called from teststand. Change these functions are placed in the custom under the heading "change" step step-type tab Before executing a sequence with these custom steps the edit-time user interface is launched to allow the user to input values that will be passed to the run function. originally, I tried to set up my functions as a 'post step' step in the step properties. However, the sequences would fail to run because the parameters of the step module was empty. Then, I selected CVI as the adapter in the step properties and specified a default module for each type. This filled the tab module settings step like I wanted. However, when I ran the sequence each function execution of measures was called twice, once for the stage of the post, and once for what was in the tab module I suppose. I then re-entered the types of step and deleted all the steps of the post office. I thought that all the problems have been resolved at this point, however, after doing some more extensive tests I always have a bug, I was unable to get rid of that.

    The problem is that two of my step types have to write data to current TestStand to execution after they ask an external device for IT. I know that the query works because my log text that generates the DLL displays the correct values. However, the data are not get rewritten on TestStand correctly. In the enforcement functions after checking the valid data has been returned, I try to write to TestStand using: "TS_PropertySetValNumber (seqContextCVI, NULL,"ThisContext.Step.ParameterValue.NumericParameter", 0, (double) ushortint);" »

    I checked that this call generates an error and also used the TS_PropertyExists method to check that I had the correct search string. These extract so I added then another command that reads the value written to TestStand two return immediately after to write it. I printed this in my log file and found that the value is written to the property of TS. So, the problem is that TestStand is defining the property to reset after the code module is running. How to prevent this?

    Thanks for all comments, let me know if anything specified needs.

    Josh Meyer

    Well, I came to the conclusion that my 'problem' is not really a problem. I had a bit of a basic misunderstanding of the works of TestStand (I don't actually use it, I am writing just a code which will bring an existing one of the tools of the features inside the TS).

    in any case, what I learned is that these properties are retained (so you can set up a sequence, save it, re - open and be able to run it without any reconfiguration for example), when you write to a property when installing editting/sequence. The run time values are not preserved (if connected) because they are only required to carry out. For example, if a user calls one of these functions to extract value from a controller, they probably do so because they want to check the value, it's what they expect it to be. Rather than watching the value after execution (which is what I me assuming they would do), they would set up the step after step "read value" to test the value that it returned. This value is available in 'RunState.PreviousStep.valuename' in the downloaded step step "read value".

    Hope that I did not confuse anyone a lot, I'm completely new to TestStand.

  • Writing to the nodes property DAQmx channel does not refresh the channel values

    Hi all

    I have a riddle.  I created a task programmatically in LabVIEW and programmatically added several analog input channels to the task.  It's easy.

    I wish that my user must be able to modify the individual channels within the task.  To this end, I created a set of screws that allow it to change the settings appropriate to the channel (for example, if it is a channel of thermocouple, it can change the type of thermocouple, CRC value, etc... If it is a strain gauge channel, it can change the coefficient of fish and so on).  These screws all works beautifully, like the VI where they live.

    The specific question that I have is that writing to the channel property nodes refreshes not communication channels.  See the images below.  The first image is the code that needs to define new channels of communication:

    Note that immediately after setting the property nodes, I read their values back, just to see what comes out back.

    The second image is an image of the public Service immediately after the execution of this VI.  Note that the values read from the channel property nodes did not updated to match to the set of values, but instead kept their initial configuration values:

    What I am doing wrong?  I fought this for a few days now and I'm stumped.

    Thanks for your time!

    Diane

    Hi, Diane.  A week ago, I also had a problem changing the channel properties (not sure that our situtions are exactly comparable, but...).  My 'solution' to want to change the appearance of the task was to just throw the original task and recreate all the elements of the task from scratch.

    I've not done enough 'experiments' to work when you can and cannot change, but am now much more cautious...

    I have an intermittent error disabled 1077 on changing the value of a series of nodes of Boolean property in my program. I'm passing an array of references in a loop For, all the controls are in this VI and it can be classified for these purposes as a first level VI.

    Most of the time that my code works fine, however, debugging my code this morning after any recent change in this part of the code I get errors that I have problems. Any ideas on how to get this past or what is causing it please?

    (Loop on the right is normally recorded shirft, but is not currently facilitate debugging).

    Finally found the problem.

    Because my table of numeric values was so small in width, I saw only a figure because I expect only the width to a figure.

    In one of the structures of the event, I wrote the number 030 instead of 0 for the node property disable result with the above error.

    I learned from this mistake and my paintings a little wider. (This is a similar problem when you forget to look for the possible extra line in a control of the chain).

    This.Sum.Visible = false; sum is the dynamic text field

    Even with 5 other text fields.

    Some of the fields appear when I test the movie and others not, but no suppose to appear. The console.log shows no error, and when I investigated console.log as: 'console.log (this.sum.visible)', I get 'false '.

    Yes, the link displays multiple textfields whose visible property works without problems in an animated project of html5.

  • Select next keyframe script (in the selected property)

    I find myself constantly crafting of individual keyframes manually, in order to automatically select the next or previous keyframe on a selected property with a shortcut (assigned a script, since there is no such feature in After Effects, being "Select previous/next keyframes' the closest thing) rather than locate the keyframe and by clicking on it , would save me and everyone else, rush hour and we click.

    After some research, I thought that this was not possible, but after some more (looking at scripts like this AE ENHANCERS • View topic - exponential scaling and Re: How can I access the layer of keyframes?), I started to wonder if it is scriptable.

    Hope it is clear what I want to achieve;

    Basically I would like only by pressing SHIFT + K would take me to the next keyframe in the selected property AND select (SHIFT + J for each other) and

    by pressing Ctrl + Shift + K would choose the next keyframe in the selected property without actually moving the time indicator current (Ctrl + Shift + J for each other).

    (I think it makes sense and it is compatible with the shortcuts Almighty J and K, but I didn't know how to write the code or demand for this feature. Were not lucky, asking co-workers animators either).

    Thank you

    Hi again,

    I don't know how to reference a new shortcut. As I said it might be possible with an AppleScript script somehow but I don't know how it works, and it will not work on Windows in any case.

    Here's another "solution", it works and is actually quite useful:

    1. Opened in After Effects.
    2. Open the script editor (file > Scripts > open Script file)
    3. Copy-paste the code below
    4. In your Scripts folder (not the ScriptUI Panels folder, there is no user interface) under a name which you are sure that this will be the first in your collections of scripts (for the test, I used $01_SelectCurrentKeys.jsx)
    5. Close After Effects.
    6. Then open your after effects Shortcuts.txt (see this thread for more details about where to find it, how to edit: Re: Custom keyboard shortcuts)
    7. Choose a shortcut for "ExecuteScriptMenuItem01" (that's the hardest part all combinations are already taken)
    8. Save and restart AE:

    That will make the shortcut: select the image to the right under the ICT for all properties. Another key is deselected.

    It's not exactly what you asked but I think it's better: use J/K to navigate and this new shortcut to select.

    If you want to paste your original idea, it gives you a base first.

    Note: a script cannot know whether or not a property is revealed in the timeline, so you actually select properties to make it work.

    Xavier.

    $.global.script_doSelectCurrentKeys || (script_doSelectCurrentKeys = function script_doSelectCurrentKeys(){
        var comp = app.project.activeItem, props, n, p, idx, DT;
        if (comp instanceof CompItem){
            DT = Math.min(0.01, comp.frameDuration/10.0);
            props = comp.selectedProperties;
            for (n=0; n0) p.selected = false;
                    p.setSelectedAtKey(idx, true);
                    }
                else if (p.selectedKeys.length>5){
                    p.selected = false;
                    p.setSelectedAtKey(1, true);
                    p.setSelectedAtKey(1, false);
                    }
                else{
                    while (p.selectedKeys.length) p.setSelectedAtKey(p.selectedKeys[0], false);
                    };
                };
            };
        return;
        });
    script_doSelectCurrentKeys();

  • Cound do not use the stage property

    I couldn't use the placement property

    Main.As

    package {}

    import flash.display.Sprite;

    SerializableAttribute public class Main extends Sprite {}

    public var progressAni:ProgressAni;

    public void Main() {}

    progressAni = new ProgressAni();

    }

    }

    ProgressAni.as

    package {}
    import flash.display.Stage;
    public class ProgressAni {}

    public var progressAni:ProgressAni;
    public void ProgressAni() {}
    trace (stage.stageWidth);
    }
    }
    }

    While, I run the application. I show message

    "" cancel the stadium property definition".

    Yes, exactly. After adding the object on the stage using the addChild function you can access variables of step of it.

  • The Title property is showing instead the name of file at the top of the app bar

    Example of PDF Title issue.jpg

    We need to rename a series of files from their original name of a new name.  After you rename the files in Windows (BRU000003. PDF in the example above), we open one of the files in Adobe Acrobat format.  We were surprised to find that the 'name' is displayed in the bar at the top of the application window was title property (000010.pdf in the example above) and not the file name.

    Is it possible to programmatically delete the Title property or Adobe Acrobat to display the name of the file and not the title property?

    You can change this in the properties of the document. Look at the "Initial view" tab.
