  I am Lions to understand if there is a way to allow an online installation for Safari extensions by a button of the CTA.

  For example, on Chrome, can I have a CTA button on my Web site that when clicked, will open a pop-up window of the SCF and give the user the option "Cancel" or "add extension". By clicking on add the extension installs the extension immediately.

  Whereas if a user clicks on the CTA even Safari, they download a file .safariextz. They must then go to downloads, open the file, and then click on "Trust."

  I think you must be in the Apple Developer program (https://developer.apple.com/safari/) and get your extension presented in Apple Safari Extensions web site (https://safari-extensions.apple.com/). I just install an extension directly from there without download. I don't know the details. Safari support has never been very good at the developer program and now it seems to be even less important.

  You can open it by accessing it in the Applications folder? If so, you may have a corrupt Dock alias. Click and hold the alias and make it about 1 inch away from the docking station, then release. Then drag the application in the Applications folder in the Dock to create a new alias. When you have a new alias, control - click/Options/keep in Dock.

  Im trying to remove all Web site data with the following procedure:

  Safari-> Preferences-> privacy-> Remove All Data Web site...

  His does not work. Before clicking on the button I have 108 Web sites stored cookies or other data, I click the button, and nothing happens... I'm still 108 cookies.

  I also did the following:

  . - used CleanMyMac v3 and it says I don't have cookies.

  If I understand your message that nothing happens when you try to remove the Safari Web site data. I know how it is important for you to be able to remove the Safari Web site data. I recommend that you restart your Mac into safe mode and see if you can remove the data from the Web site in secure mode.

  Here are the steps to restart your Mac in safe mode:

  Safe mode (sometimes called secure boot) is a way to start up your Mac so that it performs certain checks and prevents certain software from loading automatically or opening.

  From your Mac in safe mode does the following:

  * Check your startup disk and attempts to fix problems if necessary directory
  * Loads only required kernel extensions
  * Prevents the elements start and the login items open automatically
  * Disables installed user fonts
  * Delete font caches, hiding the kernel and other files of the system cache
  * Together, these changes can help resolve or isolate issues related to your startup disk.

  Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

  1. start or restart your Mac.
  2. as soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
  3. release the SHIFT key when you see the Apple logo appears on the screen.

  After you delete data from the Web site in safe mode restart your Mac and allow it to start up as usual. Then test the issue again.

  I tried and tried to mark an image in an e-mail message, that I'm composing. I have tried both a new message and a reply. I tried it with PNG, GIF, and PDF image files attached to the message. I found the suggestion of Apple to run "lsregister - kill - seeds" and did, my user account and under sudo. He many .bundle, .appex and a couple of files .opplugin, but none of them was the markup. I made sure the markup has been enabled in system preferences > Extensions.

  The small icon of menu drop-down appears in the corner of an image when I wave the cursor over them, but clicking on "Markup" in the list does not cause nothing to take.

  When I try to call the markup extension, the following text is written in system.log...

  Oh, I found a few clues and worked on my fix.

  Referring to the thread Sharing feature works not well, I used

  sudo ls-leOR "/ Volumes/Macintosh HD/System/Library/Caches".

  "to determine that I had not 'limited' flags troubling my Caches. So I jumped to Linc Davis' 9 and 10 steps (in response to 13:40 February 9, 2016) and

  sudo/usr/libexec/xpchelper - rebuild-cache

  sudo/usr/libexec/AppSandbox/app_sandbox_cache_builder - rebuild-cache

  and now the markup extension works in Mail.

  I would like to see the extension of each file I have.  When a file is created, by whatever means, I see via the icon of circle-i of the finder a box named "Hide extension" is checked.  Could someone please tell me how I can permanently uncheck this box, so that my files always show extension that comes with?  Thank you!

  Copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination.

  Launch the Terminal application integrated in one of the following ways:

  ☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

  ☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

  ☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

  Paste in the Terminal window by pressing the command-V key combination. I tested these instructions only with the Safari browser. If you use another browser, you may need to press the return key after pasting.

  Wait for a new line ending with a dollar sign ($) below what you entered. You can then quit Terminal. Log off or restart the computer.
