  I use a script (linux) to start a workflow ( defined by software for the script ;-) thank This mechanism works very well.

  However, yesterday we removed an input parameter in a workflow of some (and also deleted from the script) and now it fails.

  Before the change, the input parameters were: vmName (String), vmUser (String), vmPassword (SecureString)

  After the change, the input parameters are: vmName (String), vmPassword (SecureString)

  In the script, I can add statements to prove that the password has a value and that it is past.

  In the workflow, I've added a task containing a script that is executed first and shows that the value of the vmPassword input parameter is empty.

  The output xml from script of appeal shows also that the value parameter is 'lost '...

  It turns out that, in the XML input, which is passed to the server vCO, the password parameter type spec can be , but the definition of its value must be specified using ....

  We have just improved of RHEL5 to RHEL6 and tried to load the SDK v6.  * SOME * our standard perl scripts that collect data of the inventory of the vCenter servers assorted fail with the following error:

  Unable to load the 'HostSriovInfo' class on line 52 of usr/local/share/perl5/VMware/VIMRuntime.pm.

  However, we are able to run a connect.pl of vCenters successfully all with the same credentials.  Here from the ideas that could help us solve?

  Unfortunately, the modules are not versioned, each version uses the same name "VIM25Stub.pm" in this case.  The likely problem here is an older (from VIM25Stub.pm<5.5, since="" 5.5="" introduced="" that="" object="">

  Can check to see how many files VIM25Stub.pm is on the system, and if they are the same (simple md5sum would work).

  My 6.0 vsphere SDK VIPerl install system:

  $ sudo find /-name VIM25Stub.pm - type f-exec (md5). 2 >/dev/null

  MD5 (/ System/Library/Perl/5.18/VMware/VIM25Stub.pm) = 6740555623a9613b4f9a50b29b457eaf

  You can just check if the name of the package is in the file (make sure you get one that Perl is picking up it is @INC).

  I fixed it.  Master Pages added automatically FormCalc the script to the sections "CurrentPage" and "PageCount".  So, I just deleted the script, he added without my permission.  VERY ANNOYING!

  That would mean that your 32-bit TNSNAMES. ORA file does not have a good connect descriptor for what you provide in the UDL file.

  Check your TNSNAMES 32bits. ORA file and make sure you have a good connect descriptor for the Oracle database.

  In AdobeLiveCycle Designer when you drag - move a Webservice run button in the layout, and when you write a script, it is deleted by the system. Because according to me is there is an Execute button and not associated with the URL for WS, so no script writing is allowed...

  Strange there is no warning or anything before the removal of the code, but the code is always available and working in the Source XML... that is a bug in the Adobe software, I guess.

  Only found this when I switched to a type of normal to Execute button or submit, he throwed a warning, which will be the Click event removed... However when you directly create a run button and write a script, no warning occurs, but it removes the script from the script editor, but not the source XML...

  in any case found the problem and thought of this ad for future reference and bug correction.

  First copy the files on local disk was OK.

  If this works for local disk, but not to a network drive, then hit you indeed a permissions issue any.

  But if I run the script with tools VMware service script, the commands of copy (of the remote shared folder) failed while other controls worked well. I'm quite confused.

  In fact, it is easily explained. The VMware tools service (Yes, it's a service) runs under the account Local system and by default, the local system account has no access to the network for security reasons. You can change the user of the service runs under and see if that solves your problem (very likely)

  To do this, go to computer management (right-click icon desktop, select 'Manage') and open Services and Applications, service page, locate the VMware Tools service in the list. Select properties, log on to the page tabs and change account at your own Local System account. Restart the service and it should work.

• Set the permission on a stand-alone host failed with the script that I made

  I made a script to set the permissions on our ESX host.

  The goal is to set the permissions on the host itself. The same permissions when connect directly with the vsphere client to the host.

  The problem is that after running the script, that the permissions are not set to hostlevel. They are only vissible connecting to the virtual Center Server.

  Hello, we will create a form that includes a small graph to calculate a difference of two portfolio risk and return %'s.  We want to be able to protect and save the document.  We, too, would like to re - open the document at a later stage and update the values. Our script works fine when we enter values, protect and save it; However, he fails once we re-open with the password and enter the value; for example. It will simply show the previous calculated value.  Thank you for any input on this question of fixing.

  We finally understood the question - using FormCalc, we had to add a formula of JavaScript in the "output" Script Editor section "recalculate" to exit.  We then had to save the document as a dynamic XML type.

  It now works correctly even after you save the document safely without having to edit permissions, and then re - open with the password to update the information.

• Script fails with 1 user - no other users

  I have a problem with one user where a script on a drop-down list box preOpen event fails. The script is located in FormCalc.

  The error message says:

  Error: accessor unknown ' Cell'.

  I use various hidden tables to store 2 multidimensional tables and name all ranks 'Row' and each ' cell '. This allows me to access the information of things like the values of list box by using a loop to fill lists drop-down and search for values, etc.

  I used this technique for a couple of years and there is no problem with the scores of users. I had this user, completely uninstall Reader 9.x and go to the Adobe.com site and install X. They have encountered the same problem with X.

  It runs Windows XP.  Any ideas?

  I was only guessing how looks like to your form, thougt you're table is dynamically, so I used the instanceManager.count method.

  If this isn't the case, you can also use a fixed value that you mentioned.

  It is the same for the columns.

  In this case you can also drop the second loop.

  Variables are not used outside of the loop, so I put them in it.

  But it also works with the varibales outdoors.

  You cannot use the nodes.length method, when the table contains header/footer lines.

• VERY simple calculation - "Script Failed' unknown value

  Hello people. I'm not new to LCD (I used this product for a period of time to create graphic documents), how ever I am new to use the LCD screen to create documents that make mathematical calculations... This is exactly why I'm having this problem. Sorry grrrrrrr...

  I have a simple document with a few tables/rows. Each line has a value simple condition (if something is checked there is a numeric value), it works fine. What I try to do is just the total value of all the rows in each table, and that the bombs (errors) with "Script Failed (language is formcalc;» context is..) then identifies all the field names as 'unknown '. I'm tempted to test a little differently and I still get this error, in fact I can't get this form to just add to the simple numbers without a similar error.

  Novel I don't know it's me - has been less-than-smart, I didn't belive there is an error with the LCD itself.

  Any direction would be most appreciated. Thank you very much!

  Two things:

  1. the sum command has capital S Sum() not sum() is

  (2. There is no space between the sum and the)

  3. When you reference other fields, they are in a different subform that the total amount, so you have to way to the fields. The best way to do this is in the Script Editor, the place the cursor where you want the reference to appear, then hold ctrl and move the cursor over the desired field. The cursor turns into a version V. the mouse when you're on the ground and the correct reference will be written in the script editor.

  4. you can not split the order through two lines... .in all on a single line.

• Flashing v2.2 to flame does not work: Gecko pushing the device failed.

  Seems Virtual Box was to blame: use the scripts to upgrade from a virtual machine of Xubuntu. After migrating to VMware player, things went. As reported by other institutions, Virtual Box has problems of stability with the USB communication.
