  What problems are you having with the arrow? You go to Tools-> annotate-> arrow and an arrow appears. Then you can drag around the head and tail to make it to the desired location.

  I am currently working on a PDF form in Acrobat Pro for a small company, and they asked if there was a way to limit the amount of text that you can put in each text box to the actual size of the box. For example, when entering in your information, the text should be limited to the size of the text box and allows more to be written after that. I already disabled 'Scroll long text' properties tab, but for some reason any it always scrolls when you type beyond the limits of the area. Is there a way to fix this?

  You may need to limit the size of the text by making a right click on the text field, and then select Properties.

  The dialog box "Text field properties", go to the 'Options' tab and then enter the number of characters you want in the option "limit of characters.

  This is a default behavior, I'm afraid, it is not possible to stop this behavior at this point in the Muse.

• EP 6: change the size of the text box without changing the font size?

  OK, it took me awhile looong to finally install PES 6 (from 4 PES) and now it's been a Loooong time that I used it.

  4 PES, you just had to click on the text tool in the text box to see the squares bounding, and you can make the changes. In PES 6, it seems the only way I can get the bounding box to show is now with the tool selection... which of course does not change the size of the font as well.

  I did beaucoup Googling etc and that you can't find the answer. Help, please. I'm not a PSE newbie by any means. I used it for scrapbooking widely in the past which included a LOT of text resizing box... but it seems that 6 is designed differently than 4 and it is NOT intuitive at all. I've figured it out at some point, but it's been too long... > 1 year.

  Please help... need to finish scrapbooking for Christmas gifts...

  OK people... it seems it's on my own computer performance issues! To do a break more significantly on areas bounding while using the text tool. I was so rushed... I had mice on and if something didn't happen immediately, assumed that he would not. Sorry for the trouble, but maybe this will help some other impatient soul like me!

  I'm building my first photo book project - I was able to choose a theme, add images, open 'options', type in the text box, edit the fonts and size and move the text up and down the text box - BUT I couldn't resize the text box or move it to the lowest point in the page.

  Which is not supported. You should choose a layout that is the text box where you want it.

  Click on the Options button in the toolbar, and then select a layout that has a text more large field or to another post.

• Print form fields don't all of the information in the text box

  I work with Adobe Pro.  I created a form to fill out.  When you print this form I get all the information in the text boxes that you want to print.  Anyone out there know how to do this?

  You must set the size of the font of the auto field so that all the text is visible on the screen, and then it will appear in its entirety on the printed page.

  Adobe Acrobat DC recently auto updated to the latest version, and it seems that the new version does not change the text boxes.

  The screenshot below shows what I mean.  I added a text box and pointed the police to change the size / font style / color, but it is gray just to go out in the toolbar properties (Ctrl + E)

• Automatically convert soft line breaks in the text box to hard breaks

  I have the design of textbooks and convert to ePub recomposable, broke up. These ePub files get formatted then can be used interchangeably on the printed text. A book that I am currently in conversion is a literature book where there are lines of text with the overall line numbers so that teachers can quickly refer to a specific section of the text.

  All the line breaks in the ID file are defined just by the edge of the text box. So the text box change sizes, all line breaks would also change. Isn't a problem until you need to keep these online breeze in recomposable text and add up the numbers in.

  
  What I'm looking for is a way to insert automatically the line breaks in these LONG sections of text in the right places. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do that?

  You can change the standard paragraph style or creating a new paragraph of this character style and alignment and orientation of the paragraphs are left.

  Just moved to CS5 to CC and to see that the text boxes are always short fixed width despite URLs always larger than the size of the content.

  At hope that they corrected it because it is really difficult to type manually or correct a URL in these boxes of short.

  The MUSE toolbar (if it is the correct name for it) to view the size - width and height of the text boxes, while I was working on page layout. This is very important with presentations of several columns that are not complying with the grid column - what types of old school like me know that * measures. (Not a description of PC, but that's what they were called in the publishing at least the last 50 years).

  But in the latest version, that happened the next day - it disappeared. It shows the coordinates X and Y, so I can see where is the box (not that I really care). But it does not show the DIMENSIONS which is what I want. They used to be next to the coordinates on the toolbar or Ribbon or whatever this is.

  Am I missing something? I tried several options, but they do not appear. I may be stupid, but I want to just my rear dimensions. Bypass it is laborious: make the first box of the column, and then draw another box above it, and then drag on the second position. And so on. And very tedious if I already have two or three columns of text on a page that I re - works. What should I do? Guess? If they are "similar" to Muse they will even when the site is updated?

  I'm trying to understand and master the elements of text boxes in Muse.

  Why some text boxes seem to have a minimum size (sometimes) and cannot be resized to fit the text content?

  What does the line in dotted lines in the text box?  It seems to be linked to the entire text box, but I don't see how or why.

  Why some text boxes have no effect on the BG Image.  for example when... Add text in an INFOCYCLER widget, text size box Exchange (even if there seems to be plenty of room for more text) and the bg image is contained in the size of the changes.

  There are many things that will come into force when we add the blocks of text that contains text, such as font, size, spacing between the characters, space after/before, space of text frame, text etc. frame border.

  The dotted line indicates a height for the text frame, if you drag the shorter than the text frame, the dotted line will appear. Muse inserts a style property called min-height in the code that tells the browser which frame should be less high and can develop in height, if the content he dictates.

• Width of the text box

  Hello

  I am eager to find the width of a text box and if it is longer than say 200 pixels, decrement the (points) by one font size until the width of the text box is less than 200 pixels. I guess I'm going to need some form of loop here but I have problems with this.

  I have not included all my code just the important parts.

  TextItem.Size = 50

  TextItem.Kind = 2 (for me to find the width)

  Var TextWidth = TextItem.Width

  Now my thoughts for the loop are...

  While TextWidth > 200

  TextItem.Size-= 1

  TextWidth = TextItem.Width

  End while

  I'm not the best programmer so don't know if the loop is just fine but my idea is that, while the width of the text box is greater than 200, reduced by one font size, find the new width of the text box, then if it's still higher than 200, repeat the process until it is less.

  Is the part that I seem to have a problem with the "'TextWidth = TextItem.Width ' inside the while loop." Tests, I know that when the width of text box is greater than 200 pixels, correctly enter in the loop, decreases the font size, BUT I can't seem to find the new width of the text box. Instead, it seems to be still using the original value for the width and therefore without end of the loop.

  Can someone tell me please in the direction where I'm wrong?

  This code looks like VBS (or some other flavor of VB). If VBS works in the same way javascript, change the size of the text will not change the width of the text box.

  There are two types of text layers, point and paragraph text. The width property is applicable to the text of the paragraph but corresponds to the width of the bounding box of the text, not the width of the text itself.

  You should be able to get the width of the text of the bounds of the text layer property.
