The touch mouse settings

When MS will come out with a more precise adjustment of the touch mouse? Specifically setting the sensitivity of touch. Boost rarely picks up the movement, laying my hand on the mouse active options of two fingers with any purpose of me. These two get rather frustrating, one does not work when you want and others work when you don't want it.

It is not MS that controls the touchpad, it is manufacturer of the touchpad that provides the driver for it.  The controls are in the mouse control panel applet.  I am convinced that the touchpad is a mosochistic device created by evil demons.  :-)

A small investment in a real mouse is not a bad idea when you can buy them for as little as $4 these days.

I hope this helps.  Good luck.

  • How can I get my mouse to grab things without having to click on the buttons, if I have the touch mouse on my laptop?

How can I get my mouse to grab things without having to click on the buttons, if I have the touch mouse on my laptop?

You will need to go to the control panel > hardware and sound > mouse and see if the settings for the mouse pad have a function called "Tap-to-click" or something similar in the description.  The exact name of this feature differs depending on the manufacturer of the software for the mouse.

If you do not see this option to be available, you will have to probably go to the support site for the manufacturer of your PC and download the latest drivers for your model computer mouse pad and install.  Once installed, go back to the mouse settings in the Control Panel, where you will most likely available additional settings after the driver installed.  I hope that the "Tap-to-click" function will be available to turn on or off.

    Hello

Visit your local computer store, box store/wholesale office supplies store and check out them.
By their very design a tactile mouse should have a quiet click.

    I hope this helps.

  • Sculpt the Touch Mouse: mouse and keyboard not fully functional Center

I bought and installed a Microsoft Sculpt Touch mouse. The Strip in the center of the mouse has three buttons by default assigned to the previous Page, click Middle and Page Down. I installed the mouse and the keyboard Center (v 2.3.188.0) to reassign these buttons but it allows to assign the button in the middle of the band. How can I redirect the other two buttons?

Documentation for the mouse and the keyboard and mouse Center also says that I can assign macros to keys, but the mouse and keyboard Centre does not appear to include these options. How can I assign macros to my mouse keys?

  • where the touch pad settings

I can't find where the settigs are for my touch pad am runn [vista ng

I can't find where the settigs are for my touch pad am runn [vista ng

The location of the touchpad settings varies from one computer to another brand.

I used to have a Dell with Vista, (I'm on Acer Win 7 now), and the steps to change the settings for the touchpad did not apply to other brands.

    Basically, you'll...

Start > Control Panel > Classic view > mouse > from there, you need to look for the settings of the device. If you find it, you will find the touchpad settings.

Sorry, I can only offer this small.

  • The yellow light that locks / unlocks the touching mouse pad stopped working

Hi, last week I couldn't block touching my laptop mouse 4720 s probook. The light shows just not when I double click on it. It simply no longer works. Here I need to download the software again?

    Hello

First, download the latest installer driver Synaptics, on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=4145330&prodNameId=4145205&swEnvOID=4058&swLang=13&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-101045-1

Then, open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the entry "Synaptics Pointing Device Driver" and choose uninstall.

When this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has completely recharged, open your download folder, click with the right button on the setup of Synaptics and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once done, restart the laptop.

    Kind regards

  • Menu as soon as I open it - the synaptic mouse settings, Win 7 HP Pavilion G6 in the process of disappearance

    Increase in Ay.

I'm running Windows 7 on a HP Pavilion G6 with touchpad synaptic.  However, the pinch to zoom is in danger of makes me sane!  I tried several times to turn it off using the Synaptics setting Menu.  It flashes on the screen (most of the time) then flashes off just before I have a chance to change the settings.  I think it's something to do with the security settings, but I don't remember what I did to set up like that.

If it carries on like that then there will be a laptop-shaped hole in the window!

    So two questions:

    (1) what have I done?

    (2) how I put right?

It also seems to do this on several other options menu as well.  Help, please...

Have you used windows update to install the recommended updates that include drivers?

If so visit HP support and reinstall the chipset & synaptic drivers

  • Buttons on the touch pad G505s does not properly in game?

This is the second time I am posting this because of no response:

I recently bought a Lenovo G505s about a month ago. Everything goes well with her until I downloaded Steam and downloaded games. 3 games I downloaded are snipers and therefore requires the left button of the mouse. But when I click it to shoot, he is sometimes unresponsive and is very laggy. This isn't the fault of the game, as I tried in different, but the problem is still there. I tried to change the round buttons (so that the right button is left to aim and shoot) and it works fine. I'd rather have the usual way around fact does anyone have a way to solve this problem? has this happened to you?

If it is necessary here are some specs for the pc:

    AMD A8

    6 GB of ram

    WIndows 8.1

also the buttons and trackpad works quite well with everything else except the game like Minecraft. It seems that when I move with WASD, the button does not work but the click of the button.

Can someone give me an answer please?

only, I have solved my problem. While randomly browsing settings for my PC, I stumbled upon the Windows mouse settings and it turns out that the time for clicks has been in the Middle, which explains the shift. I have this disables and problem solved without help of Lenovo at all. Lenovo support team good job

  • Problem on Microsoft Touch mouse and Windows Vista

I had a tactile mouse memory of Microsoft Corporation, and I use Windows Vista on my laptop.

Of course, I know that this is exclusively for Windows 7, but I had no PC Windows 7.

Until I open the box of the mouse, I would like to know if Vista can support the mouse with basic functions such as the left and do a right click, return and scrolling.

If these basic functions are not supported under Vista, I have no choice and have to sell the touch mouse instead.

So pls tell me what function will be supported.

Or I have to install some kind of pilot...

    Thank you!

  • Re: Satellite L750 - advanced of the mouse settings do not work correctly

Satellite L750 model (one month). The problem is that whenever I have start the computer, does the point of the mouse synaptics device, but retains the advanced settings that pressing on with three fingers, turn to turn, or you can use the wheel to move up and down the page. The funny thing is that is activated by clicking on the mouse icon in the control panel. Once I have access to the icon, the mouse works perfectly and is displayed in the toolbar.

In device management, tells me that works perfectly and that the driver is up-to-date.
Everyone thinks of any solution? Thank you

    Hello

To be honest, I put t really understand what you're talking about.
Do you have problems with the USB mouse or the touchpad?
This device is not working properly: mouse or touchpad?

The series L750 supports a touchpad with additional feature called gesture (multi-touch).
Here you can find nice description on Synaptics how it works page.
    http://www.Synaptics.com/solutions/technology/touchpad

In addition the parameters could be found in Control Panel-> mouse-> Advanced tab

FYI: you can disable and enable the touchpad function by pressing the small button above the surface of the touchpad (POWER).

  • The mouse settings are reset if restart windows on Tecra

For two weeks now, I have my tecra "nine". I'm an advanced windows user, so the first thing I, was setting display of the records and other things like the mouse settings. Here is a problem:

When I change the speed of the mouse in the usual windows Setup window and I start my computer the next time, then the settings are canceled again.

I am shure that this has something to do with toshiba / alp extended mouse settings tool. With this tool, you can define the speed of the mouse, but I'm already on the ceiling it and I also want to use the increased windows mouse acceleration. Also, this box is checked, whenever I start windows again.

I already uninstalled easy Launcher from toshiba, but nothing has changed. So, I'm shure that it has something to do with the alp extended for the touch pad driver. Someone know any solution for this problem or will it soon be a driver available (debugged) updated?

    Luck & peace 4 all!

    And what model Tecra?

  • my touch pad on my laptop does not move the pointer, but when I have my mouse wireless pluged in it will work I was told I could have disabled the touch pad which I have to do to activate it again?

my touch pad on my laptop does not move the pointer, but when I have my mouse wireless pluged in it will work I was told I could have disabled the touch pad which I have to do to activate it again?

    Hi dove2k,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.

You will need to enable the touchpad on the laptop itself.

Find the area of the touch pad, you will find a button to enable or disable the touchpad.

If the step above doesn't, try this step.

Go to control panel > mouse > device settings tab
    Click (or to disable)

    Notes:
On some models, there is a keyboard shortcut to enable or disable the touchpad. For example, ACER, just do Fn + F7.
You can click on Reset device if none of these solutions work.

If you still can't touch pad to work, you will need to contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer for more information.
