  I read your post on food and wanted to help you!  I understand that you are concerned about upgrade options.

  You should be able to improve the power you want.  The Office should take but a lot of power, it must, food that is installed.  Just check that the power supply to use, firmly enters the tower.  Based on the Specifications of the product, you can find the dimensions tour here:

  Forget the increase in ram.  The improvement of the performance would be negligible.

  Look at the power supply Corsair CX600 .  This power supply has enough amperage to run the NVIDIA GTX 570 and most NVIDIA cards less than the GTX 570.

  Review the specifications of performance ATI and NVIDIA . Look at the specifications of strip memory bandwidth and level of DirectX support.

  You should not need a power supply upgrade. But just in case, open your PC and display the information on the label of power such as the amperage supply total wattage and 12v.

  Since this is my first post here I would start by saying hello to everyone. I recently bought an HP Elite M9400t Core 2 Duo Quad 2.5 GHz. It came with 4 GB of ram and an its Soundblaster wireless Xtreme pci-e card but unfortunately only came with an Nvidia 9300 GE, which is more or less a rebadged Nvidia 8400. I would like to know what are my options for the upgrade. I would like to upgrade a 680 to 700 watt power supply food to accommodate the new GPU and I've had my eye on the Geforce GTX 260, but the thing is 10.5 inches long. I measured and it would be a tight fit, but the PSU cables would be in the way, unless I went the way of a modular power supply. HP came with a 350 watt PSU. Tell me a 350 Watt power supply would be sufficient to run say a Nvidia 9600 gt or say a solution simple 9800 gt slot. They all have two minimum system requirements of 400 watts... But.  And. will be a more recent judgment out of the PSU shelves fit in my case? And there at - it no real advantage to using the modular power supply she calls space-saving?   This 9600 GSO is easily from 550 to 700 MHz overclock with ATI tool or equivalent, to put it in with the 9800 GTX.

  Here is the troubleshooting guide for the Studio XPS 8100 It may not be very useful, but a flashing amber light would indicate that you still having the problem of internal power source. Since you've already tried another power supply that would indicate a possible motherboard failure.

  Yes. A standard ATX PSU will agree and will function properly. As you upgrade the video card (GPU), I suggest to install a large manufacturer of at least 500 watt POWER supply.

  I recommend the OCZ and Corsair PSU. Ensure that the specification of the PSU is EPS12V ATX12v V2.2 80 Plus Bronze certified.

  Thanks to all who responded!  I just got back from my local Best Buy store, and they had an 850 Watt Thermaltake 'Black Widow' food on sale for $100,00 and I bought. After reading the comment by wb2001 about the depth of power supply, I'm a little worried about that, but I don't know until what I opened the box (the physical dimensions are not printed on the box) and try to mount it. In my case, officer was running a kernel extension - then I deleted this app and went through my library/LaunchAgents and records of the library/LaunchDaemon, remove all items launch left by home and others deleted apps.

  EtreCheck reports said that so-called SIMBL caused several accidents. So I got rid of this, by following the instructions on the site SIMBL.

  Here's the problem: even after all these efforts (and each variant reset, I could think of) troubleshooting, nothing has changed. My Mac always has exactly the symptoms you describe, upon awakening from sleep. Every time.

  In the end I just gave up and restored my iMac to its State, 4 days ago in a backup using Time Machine. (It took 12 hours). With Dropbox, I didn't lose all of the work I've done in the meantime. So, I am now running a stable El Capitan, with an understanding to why people wait a few months before installing the latest OS updates.

  Sorry I can't offer more useful troubleshooting options - but perhaps some things that did not help me could help you anyway? Thanks for posting: it seems that the Sierra has been a pretty smooth update for most people, so I guess we're just out of luck?
