  Crazy became Windows Installer

  have windows Xp Sp 3 and when I want to uninstall or install a program error message appears saying that "the Windows Installer Service could not be accessed.   Having the same problem I have tried most of the above steps, then decided to down load http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/win-services/vista/msiserver.reg and installed according to the instructions and Bingo, I managed to down load the file ' Kies from Samsung.

  I use Vista 64 Ultimate.

  The last item I have installed is iTunes 8. I managed to install, but a few hours later the error pops up.

  I can download is nothing more.

  Step 2: Windows Service install

  To check if the Windows Installer service is set to Disable, follow these steps:

  3. If the drop-down list Startup type is set to the value off, select the Manual option in the drop-down list Startup type , Start the service and then click OK.
