C309 Photosmart Premium: C309 didn't scan to computer

I can't get my C309 to my laptop.  From the analysis of the computer offers me an option of pdf.  I recently bought a new laptop (a Dell) having experienced the same problem with my previous laptop (a Toshiba).  Initially the computer analysis has worked with the Dell printer but has now stopped.  This seems to have been a common problem with the C309, but the solution I found on the forum does not work for me.  For some reason any my HP program folder contains the HP309 program identified in the solution, or the HP Service in another piece of advice online.  Should I buy a new printer/scanner (which won't be HP!)?

  • HP Photosmart premium c309g-m not scanning

    I have a HP photosmart premium c309g-m all-in-one that I'm trying to use wireless with my HP laptop running windows 7.  I can print fine wireless but I can't scan to my computer, I tried to use the controls on the printer as well as windows fax and scan.  It will allow me to scan from the printer to a memory card (although when I try to load the jpeg scanned on my memory card on my computer, it shows) also infected but I can't scan to my computer.

    Technical support said there Firewall Norton 360 but when I contacted Norton they disabled the firewall and it still does not, and now tech support said I'm a month out of warranty and will not help me unless I pay and I am reluctant to pay to get the same answers I receive for 9 months now so I thought that maybe someone here could save me money and help me.  I'm also tired of the pass the blame game of: oh, it's for lack of qwest, now it's the fault of windows 7, then it's lack of norton, I even had a tech tell me it was my fault that this printer can not scan wireless but it worked before on my old network.

    When I ran the diagnostic scan it says no scanner installed so we re-installed the software, the updated drivers, but it still says the scan driver is corrupted or missing and it cannot update the driver.  When I run the diagnostic utility that he says no printer not found on the network, but still the printer says no problems found and the network is configured correctly and I still have no problem of wireless network printing I just can't scan.  Please help me!

    If anyone has this problem I finally solved it, (no thanks to HP technical support) here's how:

    I disabled my firewall, I reinstalled the software from the Web site (once again) then I found this download for a software fix http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-77751-1&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&os=4063&product=3793676&sw_lang= (even if I've never had Vista on this computer only windows 7 so I have not upgraded) after that I went on the start menu to HP , HP photosmart premium c309g and finished install the software then restarted and it worked.  Since then the only time where I had a problem was when my computer is closing because of low battery and when I'm back from fashion 'sleep' my printer has been disconnected and the scanner n "t work so I rebooted and the printer and the scanner worked perfectly!

    Restart your Mac, then try to run the software update as follows:

    First of all make sure that the printer is turned on and connected to your Mac or on the same network.

    Click on the Apple icon, then select about this Mac.
    Click software update, and then click the Store from the top of the indicated window menu and click on reload the Page.

    Be sure to install any update HP or Apple, then check for the difference.

    If it persists, try manually install the package below:

  • Photosmart 309 a habit of scanning the computer.

    Hi guys,.

    IM about to throw this POS out the window... For some reason, I can't scan my computer... I can print, I can even, scanning to a USB key.

    I uninstalled the HP software, and tried to use the Apple drivers, I get a timeout. So I thought I would like to take the HP.com drivers - still no good.

    When you try to scan from the computer, I don't get an error, HP Scan, will just in an infinite loop trying to find the device.

    Since the device, I try the two Scan for computer - add iPhoto library or open in preview.

    I get this error:

    If you are using Snow Leopard and you have the HP software before Snow Leopard (either from a CD that is not marked as compatible with 10.6 or you recently upgraded to Snow Leopard and had the HP software on your Mac before you upgraded), you must uninstall the software by using the "scrubber".  If you do this and you installed from the CD originally, re - install from the CD and uninstall in this way:

    Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
    Click on continue
    Highlight your device in the left pane
    Hold down the Ctrl and Opt Cmd and click on uninstall
    There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
    Click on continue and let it finish

    Restart your Mac

    Now run a software update.

    Finally, download and install the "Full Featured" driver and software from the "Support & drivers" link at the top of this page.

  • Photosmart Premium C310a impossible to scan several files into a single file.

    I often send documents several pages by e-mail, and I can't seem to get all pages of the document 1 in 1 file with the C310a. I don't know if it's the printer or HP Solution Center software. I've used both the scan function on the printer and the HP Solution Center and I'm still not able to scan a document of several pages in a single file. Is it still possible more?

    I use Windows 7 64-bit.  I have to do with HP director on my pcs 2355 printer, by simply choosing the more option to check after each page.

  • HP photosmart premium c410 ser: error Scan storage

    Hello

    I just spent the afternoon sizing and scanning more of 100 pictures of family.

    Unfortunately my target drive must have been defective (lexar USB key).

    When I looked for the files, a message says disc not available. I have not all messages saying that there was a problem, while I was working however.

    I hope that the scanner sent the photos to a different location. I tried without success. They are not in the default drive in the computer.

    Any ideas, other than start over again?

    If scanned files are not saved, then try the procedure below...

    1. Press Win (key) + R (key) keyboard to display the RUN.
    2. In the window RUN, type %TEMP% , and then press OK.
    3. Temporary folder opens. Now, delete the contents of the TEMP folder.
    4. Restart the PC
    5. Now, try to scan.

    The function photo scan Solutions Center will allow not to store an image where several photos are scanned.     Tried to scan several photos off the Board and save as .tif files, but only the first image has been saved in the destination directory.

    Changed the recorded in .jpg format and pictures appeared in the destination directory. Go figure?

    Solution Center apparently dislikes the .tif files.

    I see your message and the private message that you are unable to scan to your computer using the C5580. I am very sure that you found something not HP if she asked you to pay for the drivers, unless you've tried to order a CD

    The computer and the printer are turned on and connected.  The menu scan give 2 options of scan and reprint or scan to storage device.  In the past, I was always able to analyze the items to a file in the computer.  What should I do?

I would like to help you today with this problem of scan. The issue you are experiencing seems to be due to a problem of 'No Scan Options'.   • Photosmart Premium C309-g: the drivers and the printer software will not be installed.

    My network all-in-one Photosmart Premium C309-g worked very well on my desk until recently, when suddenly the HP software could still see and connect to the printer, but Windows 10 could not. I tried to remove the printer and uninstall all associated software, then tried to reinstall the software. Unfortunately, the installation will not get to the point where it starts and then suddenly disappears with no trace of her still running in the background. I can deviate from the default installation and bring to the top of the page to select the components that I want to install, but when I do the button 'ok' on this page does not work. No matter how many times I click on it, the page remains open and the installation will not so fast. If I click Cancel on this page, it disappears and the installation back to the previous page, where I can choose to continue and happen almost immediately out of sight again. This happens whenever I try to install selected software and drivers. I deleted the printer from the devices page in the Panel, I made sure to this it is not is more listed in the Manager of peripheral devices (printers and imaging devices), I removed the Windows 10 print queue and I deleted all the data of the folder under the Program Files (x 86) HP folder on my hard drive. I also disabled Windows Defender and run the installer as administrator, yet none of these steps help the process at all. I have never, in my 20 + years using nothing other than printers HP, encountered a problem like this. I'm used to receive error messages during the installation of software to fail, but I have never had a process simply disappear from the computer without leaving any trace of never having run. I hope that someone out there has an idea, that I have not thought yet, transferring files to my tablet to print from becomes a pain in the rear.

    I understand the printing software will not fully installed for your Photosmart C309 on your system Windows 10, and I wanted to answer with my suggestions for trying to help! Here are my suggestions for you to try. When you are finished, please let me know the results and problems or errors that you may encounter!

    First step: clean boot, restart the PC and try the install again.

    1. start by typing "msconfig" in the search box of Cortana, and then click MSConfig (run command)
    On your keyboard press Windows + R key at same time and type Msconfig in the run window, and then click OK or press ENTER.

    2. now, choose Selective startup

    3. Remove the check of the Load Startup items

    4. click on the Services tab

    5. check "hide all Microsoft Services" and then click on disable all

    6. click apply , then OK

    7 restart the PC and temporarily disable firewalls or antivirus programs

    8 run the Installation Wizard for Windows HP printer to install the printer

    9 turn on the firewall and start services

    Second step: you unregister and re-register the Windows Installer Service:

    1. hold down the Windows key + R to fill the box "Run" and type cmd.exe, and then click OK.
    2. at the command prompt, type msiexec /Unregister , and then press ENTER.
    3. at the command prompt, type msiexec/regserver, and then press ENTER.
    4. at the command prompt, type exit and press ENTER to close the command prompt.
    5. run the Wizard for Windows HP printer installation

    Step 3: run System File Checker Scan (up to 3 times) to repair the corrupted system files:
    1. go to start
    2. type CMD
    3 right-click and run as administrator
    4. to check and repair the OS type sfc/scannow (note the space between sfc and ' / ')

    You may need to run this upward to 3 times to solve all the problems

    When finished, it will say one of three things
    Windows did not find any breach of integrity (a good thing)
    Windows resource protection found corrupt files and repair the (good)
    Windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some (or all) of them (not a good thing)

    Try to reinstall the printer.

    Step 4: activate the built-in Windows administrator account

    1. first of all, you'll need to open an administrator mode command prompt by right-clicking and choosing "run as Administrator" (or use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Enter in the search box).

    Note that it works the same in all versions of Windows. It just search for cmd and then do a right-click on the icon of the command prompt in the start menu or the boot screen.

    2. If you are in Windows 8.x or 10 you can click on the Start button and choose to open a command prompt in this way.

    3. now type the following command:

    NET user administrator / Active: Yes

    4. you should see a message that the command completed successfully. Log out, and you will now see the administrator as a choice account.

    (Note that this screenshot is for Vista, but it works on Windows 7 and Windows 8 and Windows 10)

    You will notice that there is no password for this account, so if you want to leave it enabled, you must change the password.

    Try to reinstall the printer.

    Since I installed Windows 8.1 scan my Photosmart Premium C309 printer would not work.  I deleted the printer and associated software.  When I try to reinstall the printer (from the original disk or downloaded files), the last installation screen.  The software considers that the printer is already installed.

    HP Officejet software and driver removal utility    (Run level 3 Uninstall to remove all the files)

    Reinstall the printer using the printer HP install wizard for Windows

    I have a Photosmart Premium C309 all-in-One, which must be recycled or donated.  It seems to be broken because the transport will not return and the error message says there is a paper jam but it is there in no paper in the printer.

    Before you get rid of it, I want to ensure that all memory is cleared of all components.  How can I do this and is it possible if it does not work properly?

    HP inkjet printers have no drives in them until you get something like an Officejet Pro machine series X.

    Printers without hard disks don't keep documents in memory once the power is turned off, the only exception being that sometimes a fax remains a document in memory until they are printed once they are printed, they are gone.

    I took a quick look at a picture of your model and have worked on similar models, none of them had hard drives installed.

    So basically, is it safe to launch it won't be anything stored on it.
