"Then to initialize at the root folders to display"

I use my laptop at home (where I connect to my network, my media player drive and my DVR), at work (where I connect to 2 network drives) and a free desktop environment (sometimes connecting to a network drive). All of these drives have specific IP addresses, passwords and the loginnames.

Often, I get the message "initialization of root folders to display. I read that the easiest way to prevent this from happening is to disconnect the networkdrives. But next time, opening session, I have to fill the IP addresses, the loginnames and passwords. Disconnection makes it not easy for me, it makes it much more difficult.
Is there a parameter, a tweak, a workaround or something else to tell Windows that he shouldn't check all readers of registry?

    I am trying to install the first elements 14 on a Win10 system. When I try to install the popup "initialization Installer" through the process... then just ends. There is no error message or anything like that either... just stops.

    I tried a lot of ideas on the forum:

    1. place modifications to files in the root...

    2. don't run under Win 7 and 8 compatible... no change

    3 uninstalled Acrobat XI Pro... no change

    4 run cleaner for entries creative cloud (although I have no CC product)... no change

    5. I even uninstalled 10 items (which I liked) then tried 14... no change. But an additional complication, I couldn't reinstall 10, it failed on the shared technologies.

    I'm puzzled. Any ideas? I spent way too much time on it.

  • When you use Windows Explorer to view the files and folders, the thumbnails of image files appear briefly then are replaced with the default icon of the image file. I tried the answers to similar problems, but none worked.

    Browse the folders with image files, I cannot see the thumbnail icons for images correctly.  I know, it should be possible, but I can't do it.

    When I first open a folder in Explorer, I see the correct images for a fraction of a second, then all images are replaced by the thumbnail of the image file (which looks like part of a digital SLR).
    I put all folders to display picture to display the preview and the filter, and the "always show icons never thumbnails" is not checked.  Display file icon "on the photos' is unchecked (I tried checking, too, without change).  I also deleted the thumbnails using disk cleanup as suggested on another question, but which did not allow them.
    The result is that, if I want to open an image for editing or downloading, I have to use a third-party application (for example, Pentax Photo Browser) to preview images, and then return to the Explorer window to select the correct file by name. Don't try to difficulty of these things that are not broken.

    izzlecrate,
    You might want to try it and I just did this procedure myself a moment ago and surprising, it worked!  First of all I must tell you that I have Windows Vista, but the information I got was for Windows 7 and it worked.

    First: You must create a NEW FOLDER and put it on your desktop.
    Second: Move or copy the contents of the original file in the NEW FOLDER on the desktop. I copied the content, just in case something went wrong.
    Third: After that is finished and all the contents are inside you.
    Fourth: On the desktop right click on the folder and click Properties at the bottom of the box.
    Fifth: Click Customize tab at the top and then the Middle click on DEFAULT settings for the folder.  Click on apply to, click OK and your done

    NOW! You can move the folder wherever you want by drag-and - drop the folder and when it's done and that's the best part, you should see the thumbnails of the folder on the EDGE of the folder that you just created.  It worked for me and I hope it works for you.
    I have 10 years of experience with my computer and have troubleshooted my friends for viruses and other computer problems successfully.  I'm advanced computer user.

    That this is done, it restores the folder its original settings.  Good luck! Rick

  • Files and folders created in the root of C: are deleted after reboot on computers with AppStacks attached.

    Users using Visual Studio had created the C:\work folder to store projects.  After the restart, whatever it is created at the root of C: had disappeared. Is this normal behavior or the result of one or more of installation contained in the C:\ root and thus managed AppStacks by AppStacks.    Is there anyway to tell that AppStack could be the cause in addition to test each individually?

    Thank you

    It's actually expected as the operating system behavior is essentially be virtualized when an AppStack is attached. All changes to the operating system are stored in a folder called SVROOT on the volume system (C :). This folder becomes "visible" when an AppStack is attached and therefore virtualization is enabled.

  • Failed to load existing records from the database on SD card during initialization of the application

    When the Simulator is launched upward, not able to load existing records from the database in the Inbox, so no records appear in the Inbox even though they exist in the database. It seems to be a problem with the SD card in the Simulator - the file system for the SD card is not correctly initialized when the application starts first to the top. During initialization of the application tries to access the SD card by using the following code.

    Boolean

    sdCardPresent = false;

    Enumeration e = FileSystemRegistry.listRoots ();

    If

    (e! = null) { }

    While (e.hasMoreElements ()) {}

    root = (String) e.nextElement ();

    If

    (root.equalsIgnoreCase("SDCard/")) {

    sdCardPresent =

    true;

    }

    }

    }

    sdCardPresent is always set to false and was not able to access existing records from the database. Once the application is initialized and try to create the database, the database is created successfully on the SD card.  The code is the same as above when creating the database and was able to do sdCardPresent = true.

    Is there anyway to register or add the SD card during initialization of the application or any property as System.setProperty overide the path of the default directory value?

    I use BlackBerry 9550 Simulator. I checked the "file system using PC for files from the SD card" and I use "C:\bb\SDCard" for the file system of thr.

    Also tested on the BlackBerry and found the same thing, if the device is hard reset, then it not reading the SD card as well.

    Mark the thread as solved then.

  • Curious behavior on initialization of the property

    Creating a custom component I stumbled upon a question that I did not quite understand. Trying to understand with an example from Hello world, I got more confused...

    Definition of a control with a simple text property, CSS file defining the skin and the implementation of the skin. I tried to put a listener of changes on my control's text property in the constructor of the skin.

    When you create a sample test to create a control and by then setting the text, I was expecting the changes listener to be called. More importantly, when to print the value of the property, it still shows the initial empty string even though its value has clearly changed.

    I use Java 8 on Linux Mint Debian Edition.

    Here is the control itself:

    package javafxtest.label;

    import javafx.beans.property.SimpleStringProperty;
    import javafx.beans.property.StringProperty;
    import javafx.scene.control.Control;

    public class MyLabel extends Control {
        private final StringProperty text = new SimpleStringProperty(this, "text", "");

        public MyLabel() {
           this.getStyleClass().add(this.getClass().getSimpleName());

        }
        @Override
        protected String getUserAgentStylesheet() {
            return getClass().getResource("/javafxtest/label/"+getClass().getSimpleName()+".css").toExternalForm();
        }

        public String getText() {
            return text.get();
        }

        public void setText(String value) {
            text.set(value);
        }

        public StringProperty textProperty() {
            return text;
        }
    }

    The CSS file:

    .MyLabel {
        -fx-skin: "javafxtest.label.MyLabelSkin";
    }

    Skin:

    package javafxtest.label;

    import javafx.beans.value.ChangeListener;
    import javafx.beans.value.ObservableValue;
    import javafx.scene.control.Label;
    import javafx.scene.control.SkinBase;

    public class MyLabelSkin extends SkinBase<MyLabel> {

        private final Label label;

        public MyLabelSkin(MyLabel c) {
            super(c);
            label = new Label();
            c.textProperty().bind(label.textProperty());
            c.textProperty().addListener(new ChangeListener<String>(){

                @Override
                public void changed(ObservableValue<? extends String> ov, String t, String t1) {
                    System.out.println("Value changed");
                }
            });
            System.out.println("Text value of the control: "+c.getText());
        }
    }

    And finally the test application:

    package javafxtest.label;

    import javafx.application.Application;
    import javafx.beans.value.ChangeListener;
    import javafx.beans.value.ObservableValue;
    import javafx.event.ActionEvent;
    import javafx.event.EventHandler;
    import javafx.scene.Scene;
    import javafx.scene.control.Button;
    import javafx.scene.control.Label;
    import javafx.scene.layout.StackPane;
    import javafx.stage.Stage;

    public class LabelInitialisationTest3 extends Application {

        @Override
        public void start(Stage primaryStage) {
            MyLabel lbl = new MyLabel();
            lbl.setText("Hello World");

            StackPane root = new StackPane();
            root.getChildren().add(lbl);

            Scene scene = new Scene(root, 300, 250);

            primaryStage.setTitle("Hello World!");
            primaryStage.setScene(scene);
            primaryStage.show();
        }

        public static void main(String[] args) {
            launch(args);
        }
    }

    My first thought (only having a problem with the listener changes not beeing called), I thought that this is an initialization problem, as the skin only get instantiated when the scene is rendered for the first time, but this isn't so. Now, I think I am missing something completely obvious, as the correct use of the property of type string.

    Someone at - it an idea?

    First thing is earlier as suspeced. The initialization of the skin happens only when the scene is shown:

    Of course, this means that to get the original value of the control in the text of labels property change listener will not be triggered. Instead, the value must be set by hand.

    The second question was an oversight on my part: what to appear, the label must be added to the list of children in the skin:

    public MyLabelSkin(MyLabel c) {
        super(c);
        label = new Label();
        label.textProperty().set(c.getText());
        c.textProperty().bind(label.textProperty());
        c.textProperty().addListener(new ChangeListener(){

            @Override
            public void changed(ObservableValue ov, String t, String t1) {
                System.out.println("Value changed Skin");
            }
        });
        System.out.println("Text value of the control: "+c.textProperty().getValue());
        System.out.println("Text value of the label: "+label.textProperty().getValue());

        getChildren().add(label);
    }

  • Try to change the root directory in built-in Server

    I run the server integrated into ColdFusion 9 to test a web site that I am building. My site is located in a subfolder of the folder wwwroot directory ColdFusion9 (C:\ColdFusion9\wwwroot\Everett\*). I try to use links relative to the root, but I would like that they refer to this directory, not the wwwroot directory. For example, I would like the link "/ index.cfm" to open the C:\ColdFusion9\wwwroot\Everett\index.cfm as opposed to C:\ColdFusion9\wwwroot\index.cfm. It is my understanding that this is possible through the virtual mapping.

    I added this code in the jrun - Web.xml file in the WEB - INF directory:

    <>virtual-mapping

    > resource path < / * < / resource-path >

    < path system - > C:/ColdFusion9/wwwroot/Everett / < / path system >

    < / virtual mapping >

    Then I moved folders CFIDE and cfdocs in the Everett subfolder.

    Then I restarted the ColdFusion server.

    Any thoughts?

    Jeremy

    HA! I don't know why it works now, but it does. Alexander, I tried your method and it did not work, but then I moved the directory WEB - INF back to wwwroot and he's fine now. For those keeping score at home, here's what I've done with:

        /*

        C:/Web_Sites/Everett2

        /WEB-INF

        C:/ColdFusion9/wwwroot/WEB-INF

        /CFIDE

        C:/Web_Sites/Everett2/CFIDE

    As I said, I don't know why it didn't work the first couple attempts, but it works now and I guess that's all that matters. Thanks for all your help!

  • recommendations for the use of files outside of the root of web documents

    Hi all

    I decided to give another go to Dreamweaver now that I have CS4, rather than "hand coding", it's been a while, and I'm just getting used to everything...

    So the first site I created is a PHP/MySQL site and I have the installer. I have the files local/tests/remote view works fine, trotting along, now I want add files I normally outside the root of web documents, for example, if the web root is/website/htdocs / I like to put some files in/site/includes and include / require them as needed. The problem is that I can't decide how to view these files/folders by Dreamweaver.

    My only choice to move the root of the document/site sets up a directory? How will this effect site preview and other features?

    Thank you

    It is one of the less satisfactory aspects of the management of site in Dreamweaver, and several developers, including myself, made pressure on the Dreamweaver team in recent years to improve it. Who knows? They could possibly take knowledge.

    The only way to do at present is to create two site definitions, one nested inside the other. Set up the site definition normally based on specific folder as the root of your site. Then create a new site definition based on site. Dreamweaver will be nag you it can cause problems, but this doesn't actually block you to do. The only potential problem is with synchronization of the site.

    The problem with the use of site as the only basis for the definition of your site is that Dreamweaver automatically puts things like connections, Scripts and other files in the root of the site. Thus, all things evil at the level of the site hierarchy. Frankly, all this is a bit of a pain. Development of the dynamic site has been added to Dreamweaver only in the version 6 (Dreamweaver MX), and nobody had really thought through the need to store files outside the root of the site.

  • Managed server starts once the root directory specified.

    Friends,

    I am facing a problem when you start the managed server. I've specified the directory root as/var/opt/bea / < DomainName > / < servername > tab to start server in the administration console. I kept running node Manager.

    Thanks in advance

    In fact up to 7,0 WLS wls always used to create the domain within the BEA dir install dir only.
    but we can specify the directory of area outside the facility of dir BEA WLS 8.1.
    It's the only relevance for the different directory for a domain you can specify the domain root dir anywhere on the file system.

    Now the root directory server the only relevance to the root directory of the server is different from the root dir field is when you have your domain distributed on different machines.
    For example: If you have a domain with a server and administrator on a Machine and a server run on the B Machine.
    Then you can't have root directory of the managed server, the directory of the domain as the root directory of the domain will reside on computer A and Managed Server Root Dir will reside on the Machine B.

    And if you start the managed using the node Manager server and that you have not specified that the directory root of the Managed Server through the java_option then by default the root directory of the managed server will be created with in the nodemanager/common/WLS_HOME directory on computer B.

    And if you managed servers in different domains on the same Machine B therefore all managed servers by default their directories root within the nodemanager dir which will make it difficult to recognize what managed server belongs to what field.

    Therefore, it is always recommended to have specific server root directories if the field is distributed on several machines.

    Hopefully this will clear your queries.
    Thank you

  • Do you know how the root a Medion E4503 phone?

    I realize it is a bit a nerve to ask this question in my first post - I hope that you will forgive me. The phone is designed by Lenovo. I've been able to find a guide to rooting for my camera, and it was written in Japanese. I felt it better to ask here than to try to guess what that meant Japanese authors!

    If anyone knows which phone Lenovo is similar to my E4503, I could find a guide for this, or maybe someone here has root them? I hope you can help
