  You need start the game up more so that we can see if you have a backup, you can restore from. Go to settings > general > reset > erase all content and settings so that you get the Hello screen. Then, you configure the iPad, sign your iCloud account and when asked if you want to restore from a backup to say Yes and see what is listed to choose from for restoration.

  After the back if you don't see any options for restoring your backup.

  The bad export quality could be linked to the pre-selection of PFD you have chosen. Some of the presets are designed to re - sample images to make a smaller final PDF

  SUNDAY NIGHT, I HAD A SUMMER PASS PHOTOS IN MY DOCUMENTS ON A CD - THERE WERE ABOUT 7 DIFFERENT FOLDERS WITH PROBABLY ABOUT 1000 PHOTOS ALTOGETHER.  I WENT INTO MY COMPUTER, MOVED IN THE DRIVE E.  I PUT A NEW CD IN DRIVE E THEN I CHOSE 7 PHOTOS FILES WRITE TO CD.  THEN WHEN THEY STARTED TO TRANSFER, I CONTINUED TO GET A POP-UP THAT SAYS THIS PICTURE ALREADY EXISTS: I WANT TO REPLACE OR SKIP.  SO I CHOSE TO JUMP IN ALL CASES.  WHEN THE PROCESS WAS DONE, I HAD NOT ONLY NO PICTURES ON MY CD, BUT NOW THEY HAVE COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED FROM MY COMPUTER.  IS IT POSSIBLE TO RECOVER?  I'VE TRIED A SYSTEM RECOVERY CHOOSE SATURDAY AS A STARTING POINT WITH NO LUCK.   Help?

  The files might be hidden on the CD.  If they are, this will make visible again:

  1. go in Control Panel > Folder Options > view .
  2. Select display the hidden files and folders .
  3. click on OK .

  If the files are really gone, you might be able to get them back by running a program like Recuva file recovery.  Immediately, do so before using the computer for something else.

  For safety, always copy the files on a CD.  Do not move the.  Consider removing them from the computer until you are sure that the files are on the CD and you can read them from the CD 100%.

I then move the folder in my pictures on a 4 MAC/lightroom folder then open LR and select onlyy images I am interested and (remove disc) that I don't want.   You cannot delete files in the Menu import, you must import them into Lightroom before deletion is possible.

  Try this: right click (or whatever the equivalent of Mac is Cmde?) on the bar that says "Snapshots" and in the context menu that appears, click "Presets". Your presets thingy had turned off; you haven't lost anything.

  I think I got it, it was not well documented feature.

  When you import, you are given the option to create another copy of the raw as a backup file.

  I recently did the update online to 5.7 and it did an uninstall of 5.5 then installed 5.7 instead of simply adds the updated files.

  During this time he must have updated the catalogue with the backup/archive folder. Once it did I saw is no longer my CR2 file where they should have been.

  To resolve this case fully, I have to move the Archives to a location outside of the images folder and re-import the missing files.
