ThinApp application streaming on the Internet

Hello

I would like to deliver packets ThinApp taking advantage of the streaming supported by thinapp mechanism.

I couldn't find "how to" on this subject.

Someone knows how to do?

I have the packages right now, but no idea how I could deploy them on Internet

Thank you!!

How can I stop this? There are displays on internet and previous assignments on this resolution by using Terminal commands for OS X 10.5.x & 10.6.x, but these commands do NOT work in 10.7.x or 10.8.x. Make sure that Firefox is installed correctly.

Open the Firefox disk image (DMG) file and drag the Firefox program in the folder of the application on your hard drive.
You should not double-click the Firefox application to run from the disk image and drag it out of the DMG file instead.

  • How do you re ports and IPs for FMS 4.5 allow RTMFP streaming on the Internet?

Basically I have an AS3 application implemented allowing video conversations between some n number of parts, using RTMFP.  The problem is that when I tried to connect a computer from across the Internet, as opposed to our intranet, suddenly he couldn't connect at all to RTMFP for this app (even if she was able to succeed by using an RTMP rescue who was there).

So after hunting around, I am the network administrator for supposedly open until 1935-1960 UDP for outgoing traffic on the external IP address for the server of the FMS (same server as the application AS3), and it apparently opened for inbound traffic as well.  Also, I went in Adaptor.xml and changed this element:

    <HostPort>:19350-19360</HostPort>

    to say this:

    <HostPort public="XX.XX.XXX.XXX:19350-19360">:19350-19360</HostPort>

where XX. XX.XXX.XXX is the external IP address of this computer.  Right now, however, even if computers on the Internet are able to connect via RTMFP, video/audio streams do not receive through all through the Internet.  What's more, it is that even on our intranet, there are one-way versions of this problem now.

Network administration is not my strong point, in all honesty.  Where should I start looking to solve this problem?  Thank you!

Found the answer to the problem.  It was something quite specific to our internal network.  For anyone else who runs into something like this, cc.rtmfp.net of use on each client computer and refer to the things described in the http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashmediaserver/configadmin/WSdb9a8c2ed4c02d261d76cb3412a40a4 90be - 8000.html #WSec225f632fa008755a148c52131fca3d386-7ffe, especially less "understand the connectivity RTMFP test."

  • Pavilion G7: Desktop Applications cannot access the Internet but metro apps can

I have a Windows 8.1. About 5 days ago from desktop applications (IE, Chrome, Google Drive Office) has ceased to be able to access the Internet at all.

However, apps of metro (metro IE, Facebook, Mail, etc.) can still access the Internet.

How could it happen? That the two environments use different settings? Is there a setting or registry entry that applies only to the desktop environment?

Analyses of viruses and malicious software (Malwarebytes and Windows Defender respectively) were not able to do what anyone. But since they are two desktop applications they have not been able to update their files of signatures since this problem started.

I found the answer on the Microsoft site on this topic.

The answer is to reset Winsock using this command from an administrator command prompt: "netsh winsock reset" and then restart.

I did and that fixes the problem immediately.

  • RealConnect Agent Application Error preventing the Internet connection

Our laptop using Windows Vista Home Permium.  When my son logs in to his account, he gets a window titled "Registration.exe Unable to Locate component."  The error message in this window is "the application failed to start because MFC42." DLL was not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. "When the popup is closed, a Microsoft Windows popup window opens with the message"Agent of RealConnect Application has stopped working.  A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. "Then it is not able to connect to the internet.  This problem started a couple of weeks with his login.  The connection that my husband & I use doesn't have this problem.  Help someone?  Thank you!

Something you have from Windows is the origin of the problem. This isn't a component of Vista. Search on Google for "Agent RealConnect" shows that it is connected with Toshiba, Corel or DataLode. If you have a Toshiba, call their tech support. If you have Corel software, remove startup or uninstall it if you do not use. If none of these things is applicable, the connection of DataLode may indicate malware. Make sure that the computer is clean:

    Manage startup:

Start Orb > Search box > type: msconfig and when it appears in the results area above, right-click and choose 'run as administrator '.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue. Then see what is on the Startup tab. You don't need to restart immediately, but next time you do, you will get a dialog box saying that you have used the utility. Usually in Vista it will be blocked by Windows Defender and you will need to enable it so you can then check the box that says in effect, "don't mind to this subject again".

Important - do not use the System Configuration utility to stop the process. Instead, use the Services.

Start Orb > Search box > type: services and when it appears in the area of results above, made a right click and choose 'run as administrator '. Confirm the elevation necessary.

I hope that Super Antispyware has given you the opportunity to remove those things. Since your initial Malware scan came clean, it is likely that located SuperAntispyware cookies only track, which are odious, but generally not a threat from System.

It is possible that you have apps which unknown to you, that run automatically in the background whenever you start your program. It is good to check if they are legitimate and necessary to launch when you start your PC.

Start button, click on you. In the run box, type: msconfig.exe

A System Configuration tool runs. Go to the Startup tab. You will find a list of applications that are set to run every time your PC starts. If you recognize all of them, use Google to help identify their purpose. Many times, you can open the application that is in question and prevent the application from starting. For example, on my system, I see that Java runs once more a verification tool to update each time you start. In this case, I can set my preferences Java Panel, select Java and uncheck automatically search for updates.

I also use OpenOffice and it wants to run a startup of service to reduce the time that openoffice requires to open. I don't really want something constantly running in the background to save me a few seconds to open the application. Then I go to Google to find out where the switch is to disable this "feature".

If you have unwanted applications running in the background, it is best to either uninstall, our to disable the option that allows them to run at startup. Although you could definitely "uncheck" the application through msconfig.exe, it is essentially a tool of troubleshoouting and not intended for the struggle of the apps (even if you do).

You can always uncheck/check again on this list to see their impact when you then restart your PC.

Once you have verified that apps that are set to start, you can run Windows Task Manager and scroll elements in the process and Services tabs to see what is running. The Services tab can be pretty intimidating to investigate on (there is a lot of misinformation the ' net), so if you are unsure about the services listed, it is best to ask or to jump on this area.

I just got this phone, and I was hoping to get without a data plan, because I intend to use it mainly for phone and texting. Hello Jayn,

You can control access to web your device by locking.

    Reach:

    • Main menu >
    • Security >
    • Lock Application >

    * You may be asked to enter a number 4 unlock code at this stage. If so, enter the code to go ahead. The default code is 1234 for all devices ATT, unless you changed it.

    Then:

    • Scroll down to the Web Access > select "Lock".
    • Scroll to Media Net > choose "Lock".
    • Scroll to Web Sessions > select "Lock".
    • Scroll to IM > choose "Lock".

After you apply the settings above happen:

Whenever you attempt to access Media Net, an Internet dependent application or instant messaging, you will be presented with an unlock screen.

Unless you enter the 4-digit code in the screen unlock, your device does not connect to the Internet.

Note: To disable all Internet applications, dial the AT & T customer.

  • Even though I have my iPad WiFi connects to the internet even after that I have reset the network settings

Having never had a problem with my iPad since buying about 3 years ago, suddenly I can't access the internet use it & none of the applications that need the internet have access either. (since the last update for IOS 9.3) I have reset the settings of the internet and the WiFi signal at the top is visible. Airport app told me that I have access to the internet, but I did not!  Does anyone else have this problem? I would really appreciate a quick solution, because it's so annoying when things sync and I need them to-such as the events of diary, photos email etc. not to mention the SMS!  Any help gratefully received!

General suggestions for Wi - Fi problems, maybe one of them will help you...

    (1) perform a forced reboot: hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Leave the device to reboot.

    (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

    (3) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (support Web site of the manufacturer for a new FW check). Also try different bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and different bandwidths (recommended for 2.4 to 20 MHz bandwidth).

    (4) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

    (5) disable the prioritization of device on the router if this feature is available.

    (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

    (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

    (8) to restore the device (ask for more details if you wish).

  • BlackBerry smartphones restrict the use of the internet on a Blackberry Bold 9700

    Hello

I understand that it is possible to do so, can someone advise how?

I still want to be able to receive emails and use applications that connect to the internet, simply cannot use the browser

Self-restraint would work: don't click on the browser or open links in emails.

Hide the icon of your browser.

Do not install applications that use the Internet.

Disable email HTML formatting if you download not data belonging to the images in emails.

In other words, other than your OWN self-control, you can not use just 'part of the device' and not the other.

If you don't want to use the data for applications other than e-mail, do not install them.

Ideal Architecture Oracle APEX, with the help of ADR would be:

    • Database Oracle as database level
    • Data services Oracle REST deployed to support for Java EE application server Middle Tier part 1
    • Apache HTTP Server or any other server HTTP Reverse Proxy Middle Tier as part 2
    • Browser as a Client Tier

You can view it here: Dimitri Gielis Blog (Oracle Application Express - APEX): prepare the architecture for the APEX 5.0 update

But I would advise you to delegate this task to one of the hosting providers available for Oracle APEX.

or you can go cloud: Apex on cloud?

  • Audio streaming on the entire folio

We have a customer who is interested in the creation of a 'radio' function, where we would have audio stream through the entire folio. The desired effect would be that audio play continuously and without interruption on each page of each article.

I know that there is a way to read a local audio file across the entire folio. We have already tested which and it should work perfectly, but the customer would like the audio streaming on the internet because we cannot have the rights to incorporate audio files.

Do you know if there is a provision to do something like that Adobe DPS? We heard that it might be possible using a set more like managers of browser, but I was unable to find any documentation about it.

    iPad only.

We do not support creation of audio and video streams using the DPS, creative tools for the moment. There is no way to do it with an overlay of web as the overlay will get deleted from memory once that your player moves to another article.

  • Use of the client and Application streaming

    Hello

I have a question about the use of the customer when using disc that I'm looking for some clarification on application streaming. According to the ThinApp user manual "ThinApp does not write data but the disk.". So I reason by saying that the ThinApp client runtime and all the blocks of the application are stored in memory and there is no interaction with the local hard disk, providing that the sandbox sand is configured to be hosted on a network share?

In a situation where the blocks required to run the application is greater than the remaining quantity of RAM how ThinApp handles this. He just throw blocks that are no longer needed and load in the new blocks?

Finally, what are the consequences when the network connectivity is lost when a ThinApp application is already running. The application continues to run because it has the necessary blocks already loaded into memory, but will eventually fail if there where blocks have not yet been charged with the new features of the application?

    Thank you very much

    Ben.

    BenBrazil,

So I reason by saying that the ThinApp client runtime and all the blocks of the application are stored in memory and there is no interaction with the local hard disk, providing that the sandbox sand is configured to be hosted on a network share?

You're right to a point... It's more about the isolation modes.

If the application is completely isolated, then any new data created during execution would go to the sandbox.  However, if this has been done, we would have a problem printing because we would need to write to the folder of spool of physical systems.  That's why the record of spool is on merged default Isolation mode.

If you have funds % set the blending mode for Firefox (like a thinapp) then you can save the data directly to the desktop of the host.  Therefore, it is the way that the package is configured.

    > In a situation where the blocks required to run the application is greater than the remaining quantity of RAM how ThinApp handles this. He just throw blocks that are no longer needed and load in the new blocks?

How windows manages it on a native-ly... by exchanging installation application.  Even if it's a thinapp, the thinapp is just another Windows application.  If it exceeds free RAM and need more, windows will exchange what he can.

    > Finally, what are the consequences when the network connectivity is lost when a ThinApp application is already running. The application continues to run because it has the necessary blocks already loaded into memory, but will eventually fail if there where blocks have not yet been charged with the new features of the application?

I guess the thinapp would crash with errors to the file cannot be read.  It is similar to she runs from a USB key and unplug the USB.  It would probably crash because it cannot read the disc source.

Once you restore connectivity, try to revive the thinapp.  If it works then great, if she don't then deletes the sandbox sand.

    Just some thoughts...

    Kind regards
