Think the Version is the last step?

I would like to give feedback on the miserable performance of the latest versions of FireFox: v6 and v7 specifically. The thing will not completely load Web pages. Never. Its so bad that I actually released on bail and set Chrome as my default browser.

So I'm going to 'Help' and 'Submit comments' and the resulting page says I am under an older version. And he tells me this, immediately after a complete uninstall, reboot and reinstall THE LATEST RELEASE!

And I tried the Safe Mode and all disabled, etc, etc.

Your string UserAgent in Firefox is marred by another program you have installed.

type of topic: config in the URL bar and press ENTER.

If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access this page.

Right-click the preference and select reset

Then restart Firefox

  • Firefox does NOT start, the removal and resettlement will start as the last step, but once Firefox is closed, it does NOT restart.

Both browsers (Firefox 21 & IE) installed on my Widows XP 64-bit office refuse to start or click the icon on the desktop, the start menu bar or the executable files themselves. What happens is that all the icons disappear from the screen for 15-30 seconds, then the icons appear on the screen, and the last information message displayed from the system tray at the beginning upward is repeated.

Firefox deleting and reinstalling will start the browser as the last step, but when the new copy is closed, it will not start. Also just restart the download installation without removing Firefox will be 'Upgrade' and start in last step, but when the new copy is closed, it cannot be restarted. Restore running on the new copy has apparent effect on the ultimate inability to restart after closing.

I have downloaded the driver and tried to install it by following the exact instructions.  Everything was fine until the "last step" when it asked me to plug in the USB cable and turn on the printer.  "A wizard, he is only"

    Hi @chuehh,

I see that you are having problems reinstalling the printer. I'd love to help you.

If you has not fully run an uninstall of the software of the printer, the printer is probably still detected in the Device Manager, which is originally the printer is not being recognized again.

Verify that connections in Device Manager for the entries of the printer, under Bus USB controllers look for a USB print media or anything with an exclamation yellow, storage device or an unknown device. Right click and uninstall the device. Here is a document with the steps to access the Device Manager in two Solution: troubleshooting software. "The device has not completed" or the "Unknown device" Message appears in Windows USB Installer...

Do not take into account the title. Then follow the steps from the beginning of the document. If the printer is not listed in the Device Manager window, let me know.

  • Vista to 7 ultimate; Hangs at 62% on the last step, even with the Microsoft Fix tool.

    Hello
I'm currently upgrading my Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 to Windows 7 Ultimate edition. The entire dose has been smooth, except on the last stage, the progress hangs at as records of XXXXXX/XXXXXXX (62% to be exact). I have not tried the difficulty It Yourself option, but I get woozy when messing around with records. Is there anyone else who is having the same issue, or better yet, a possible solution?

    Hello

You can wait for the difficulty he has done and if the progresses installation more than 62% then the issue is resolved.

If the automatic fix does not resolve the issue then, try the manual steps to fix the problem.

To fix this problem yourself, follow these steps:

    (a) restart the computer. Then, your computer will roll back to Windows Vista.

    (b) click Start, right-click computer, and then click Properties.

    (c) in the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.

    (d) under System variables, click new.

    (e) in the name of the Variable of type MIG_UPGRADE_IGNORE_PLUGINS field.

    (f) in the value of the Variable of type IphlpsvcMigPlugin.dll field.

    (g) click OK three times to close the dialog boxes.

    (h) restart the upgrade installation.

  • What is the last step in the installation of Adobe Acrobat XI?

I installed Adobe Acrobat XI and I see the directory on my desktop (this is the default location, but I thought it's weird). However, it is not completely installed because the drive is not an option, when I try to open a PDF file. What else should I do? I use Windows 8.1 (new to me).

    Hi barbiedell,

It is perhaps a silly question, but have you run the installer after downloading the reader? (It can be the installation icon that you see on your desktop). If you have run Setup, try restarting your computer, and then see if the drive appears in your list of installed programs.

    Best,
