ThinkPad T410 Wireless card

Welcome to the forum!

You can replace the map with the same exact - probably your best bet - BUT make sure it is a card issued by Lenovo with a FRU number on it, otherwise you'll get an error during startup.

Good luck.

  • ThinkPad t420s wireless

I bought a t420s to replace my dead 410 s. It cam without a wireless card, but it won't let me use my 410 map s.

Unauthorized network card is plugged in - power off and remove the miniPCI network card.

Is there a way to get around this? I was sure that she would accept another card of thinkpad.

No, there is no way around that. The T420s has a whitelist, and you can use the cards on this white list. Unless find you a way to Flash a modded BIOS, that does not work the last time I checked.

See the part number #5 in the figure: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/pd009913

  • ThinkPad T410 Upgrade option

I start by saying that I love my thinkpad! There's just one thing I don't like abtou it and it is the plug there atm. This is the laptop I'm using right now:

    ThinkPad T410 2539 - Core i5 520 M/2.4 GHz - vPro - RAM 4 GB - 320 GB - DVD-brander - HD Graphics - Gigabit Ethernet - WLAN: 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 - TPM - vingerafdruklezer - 14.1 inches; breedbeeld TFT 1280 x 800 (WXGA)

The thing is, it's perfect for simple office tasks, but really miss me a grapich power when I go to work and on the road. So I was wondering, what options are there to upgrade the CPU/video card?

    pepio wrote:
OK, thanks for your response. I'm guessing there is nothing for me to do that so go get another laptop.

Well don't get me wrong the T410 is always a great computer and not this old, but seems useless to me and spend too much to upgrade a previous generation Thinkpad so all you will get is a graphics card that is a little better. Buy a new T420 will be still more expensive of course, but then you get a brand new model with all new features and HW.

  • ThinkPad T410

I anticipate get me the new ThinkPad T410, but I need to know one thing.

    The integrated video graphics card is the following;

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 5700MHD - AMT

What is the max resolution that can be set to when the laptop is connected to a 40 "LCD?

I see that the video options include 2 discrete graphics cards, but I really don't need them unless onboard video can't display the resolution I need.

the use of the integrated Intel GPU display port can support up to resolution WQXGA, which is 2560 x 1600.

  • T42 2373 wireless card

I just took it and can not get on my network because of the security of wireless b card I tried to change the map with a bg wireless Intel and I get an error. Unautherized electric network card and remove it... There must be a way to upgrade this thing isn't there? I tried a second card intel and Broadcom card. I'll try a bios update if ever I can get it to load the driver page.

    Welcome to the forum!

You need a card issued IBM with a certain number FRU, since wireless cards are on a white list in the BIOS and that's why your 'new' raise an error.

If you exhaust your options, feel free to leave me a private message, I have a couple of sitting around, all Intel 2200BG cards out of ThinkPad T4x.

Geez, how could someone enter into your computer to steal the wireless card? In any case, your device supports the following cards:

    • Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2200 802.11 b/g/n (2 x 2)
    • Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 (2 x 2)

  • Need help finding the right wireless card

    Hello

I'm trying to find out what wireless network card should I buy for my laptop computer backup HP Pavilion dv4000 (dv4253EA) can someone help with this?

    Hello:

Your model came with the wireless network card.

Is there a place to install a wireless card?

Are there already the antennas in the compartment?

If this isn't the case, you will need to purchase an external wireless adapter.

Please see the service manual in Chapter 5 for the location where the wireless card is going.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c00553278.PDF

There is also a list of the supported WLAN cards with HP numbers.

None of them are available for sale to HP, then your best bet is to buy used on eBay.

Questioned by the HP part only number.

Only one of the listed cards will work and they also have the HP piece on them or they will not work.

    Hello

After manually installing windows 7 32 bit on my satellite T110-13R after formatting drive C:, my wireless card does not want to connect, and fn + f8 does not work.

The wireless card appears in the device management, but does not connect and no network is detected.

    All other functions are OK.

After downloading several drivers on the support, nothing changes...

Want to restore in a factory with f8 at startup state, HDD TOSHIBARECOVERY function is not available.

Excuse me for my bad English

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello

If your laptop comes with Win7 64 bit home premium and that you have installed your installation image of the origin of the 32-bit HARD drive can no longer be started. It works with the factory only settings.

Have you installed Toshiba Value added Package?
Don't forget the wireless network adapter is correctly enabled. Yu can do it with the help of tool ConfigFree too.

  • Satellite Pro L450D-12 X - Wireless card in the process of disappearance

    Hi guys,.

So, I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite Pro (L450D-12 X) in my possession.

She has 8 installed inside windows (but came pre-installed with windows 7).

The problem I face is that, suddenly, the wireless still endangered, literally as no wireless card exists - but there is a wireless card.

I was able to fix it by reinstalling windows 8 OS. It worked only for a little while and then it disconnects / disappears. No wireless in the "map settings" icon Only the "ethernet" adapter
Cannot search or browse for wireless network either.

Since the fix above was not permanent, started the service that controls the card wireless among others who are associated with what this either wireless (don't remember the name) - it worked again.

Now it has stopped. Well, I'm not with the laptop at the time, I said there and all attempts to restart the service via the phone, does not provide any solution.

    Any ideas guys?

    All responses appreciated.

Problem is that your laptop model is NOT supported for Win8.
What WLAN driver have you installed?
    Where did you find?

When you are faced with this problem wireless network card is listed in the Device Manager?
