Third tool in the toolbar?

I can lose my mind, but I think remember that there was a way to implement an extra "alt-tool" next to two existing tools at the top of any window of logic. Sometimes tell me that I'm not imagine that?

No you are not imagine.

  • Modify click & timeout for the tools in the toolbar

    Hello fellow Photoshop-ERS!

My question is hidden in what concerns the click & hold the delay of selection tool in the toolbar. Since the last update of Photoshop CC 2015 (version: 2015.0.1, Build: 20150722.r 168 x 64) the delay time after I click & hold is significantly more time to display the option of the tool in the toolbar (for example, click on & keep on the move tool to access the work plan tool). Is it possible to shorten this period in preferences somehow? I went through each of the menus in the preferences and didn't see an option for this. Any help, as always, be appreciate! Thank you!

If you want them to appear earlier, use a right-click instead to wait or try a left click. When you right click, they should appear.

Sorry, I'm new to the type of problem-solving process, and I don't know how to change my first speech. My true statement is less to:

My pdf freezes when I click on COMMENT. I'm trying to get the tools to edit a pdf file. If I use the tools on the toolbar, there is no problem, but as soon as I click on the COMMENT, the document hangs and I have to open the Task Manager to plant it. It started in the last seven days (3.31.15).

I responded to your questions below, BUT while I was looking for properties, I found repair service REPAIR the INSTALLATION of ACROBAT, and (this is) the issue has been resolved!

Thanks for making me look for information.

I use Acrobat Pro XI, version 11.0.10.32.

I created the file, that I worked in during the freeze, so I tried a PDF I created with Adobe and it also freezes when I click on COMMENT. I discover that the OBSERVATIONS of the plug-in is loaded. (See image

I used the REVIEW for years without this problem occurring. He started in the last 2 weeks.

I could not find real estate under the file menu, but found a security setting in the preferences in the Edit menu. It doesn't have a way to allow/disallow COMMENT.

  • Tool on the toolbar change

If in Photoshop when I select a tool in the toolbar and right-click, I give myself a "sub" Tools menu to choose. In Illustrator, however, the same can't. I can select the tool in the toolbar, but right clicking has no effect on these tools that seem to have tools available (indicated, I thought that, by the small triangle in the corner of the icon, like Photoshop). ALT-click alt right by clicking shift-click, Ctrl-click, nothing seems to work.

How, for example, to pass the rectangle tool for the rounded rectangle tool (if it exists)? And how that I see that suboptions are available in tools that have the little triangle?

    I use Illustrator CS6 64 bit on Windows 7 64 bit

you forgot to try just clicking (left mouse button) and hold a bit.

I think that's what most users with little computer experience first tries, but you are too advanced.

Edit: it will show faster if you click and drag (left mouse button). And don't forget that you can tear the submenus by moving the mouse to the tear-off bar on the right side of the submenus

Edit 2: and the left mouse button holding or dragging in Photoshop works the same too

  • a new icon appers on tools on the toolbar after the Firefox update. It says not 'connected '. What is it? How to remove it?

After that I updated Firefox to ver.16.0.1, on the right side of the toolbar a small icon appeared! When I click this, it says no 'connected '. I tried to remove it using customize, but nothing happened, it's still there. I don't know what is it and how to remove it! Help me please! Thank you very much!

Try dragging this button in the toolbar palette.

Alternatively, you can check for problems with the file localstore.rdf.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.
  • How can I add the hand tool from the toolbar on Adobe Acrobat Reader DC?

Acrobat Reader DC (I downloaded the correct version of Windows 10, so this isn't a compatibility issue) runs on Windows 10 on a tablet with touchpad online - I have a mouse or conventional keyboard.

The CD player was installed less than a week ago and 10 of Windows has been installed in about three weeks. Windows 10 is fully updated.

How can I make the hand tool appears in the toolbar so I can scroll after that I used the tool to highlight? The hand tool only appears in the unlocked page controls menu... So I need to dance my finger on the bottom of the page to make the mini toolbar appear, then select the hand tool. otherwise, I can't scroll with my finger because the highlight tool cannot be disabled. Is it possible to place the hand tool in the permanent toolbar?

    Hi nweissma,

I'm sorry, but the hand tool to pan on the document is available in the bottom floating toolbar.  There is no way to add it to the toolbar at the top.

This seems to be the behavior of the design.

    Kind regards

  • Change the position of the tool in the toolbar?

I would like to move the eyedropper tool at the left end of the toolbar of InDesign. Is this possible? Thank you.

    ^ Law.

Interface for Adobe customization does not extend to the individual buttons. I have kept with the status of the Adobe Configurator application, allowing you to get closer to what you want, so I can't tell if there is a currently available version that is compatible with your version of InDesign, but it might be useful to check in. In addition, key to get the tool just typing the I is a handy habit.

  • Add icon for 'paste the image to the Clipboard as stamp tool' in the toolbar.

I had to configure Acrobat 9 all over again after getting a new computer and I swear to you that I remember having a quick access on the toolbar icon for "paste the image to the Clipboard as stamp tool.

Now I have to go to the dropdown for the tool to access when buffer before having its own icon in the toolbar.

How to get set up on my old computer?

    Thanks for the help.

    I found the answer.

RT-click on the comments (I rt-click on the stamp tool) toolbar

Select Show all the annotation tools.

There you go, now just to rt - click again in this area and remove the additional tools that came by deselecting them.

Now you will see him stick the image to the Clipboard as a tool as a quick tool.

  • PSE8: Tools in the toolbar can drag them upwards and downwards to reposition?

The tools in my toolbar PSE8 are in any position other than my Photoshop CS3.

For example, the Zoom tool is located next to top in PSE8 but in PS CS3 is low, above the foreground and background colors.

For speed and efficiency when exchanging between apps that it would help if the toolbars have been like almost identical as possible.

If the tools can be repositioned... I can't find anything about it in the Help menu?

    No, sorry.

  • By clicking on tools on the toolbar brings up the menu drop-down instead of switching tools

CS3 (real licensed copies), OS X 10.5, Cintiq 12WX - using keyboard shortcuts changes the active tool, but clicking on a tool in the tool bar with the mouse or stylus does not; Instead it shows the menu drop-down with associated tools - Polygonal Lasso, magnetic Lasso, etc. - and clicking with the mouse or stylus in an active window has no effect until a second click. It is absolutely infuriating bug, and I have better to do that swearing screaming at my computer when I have deadlines to meet. Can someone please tell me how CS3 accept 'by clicking on a tool' as ' switch so that the tool "rather than" drop-down menu view other versions of this tool? It took half a day of Googling to figure out how to fix these trash the last time it happened, and stupidly, I did not write the process.

Your understanding of the "obsolete" is as poor as your understanding of 'help '. CS has done everything I need Photoshop CS2 and do still works very well on my Windows machine, CS3 is just what was common back when I had access to student discounts making it actually worth buying a new version of the program.

I had already tried to reset everything that was possible to reset in Photoshop itself - and reinstall the drivers using another mouse and the Cintiq, and restart the computer - several times without success before finally discovering the source of the problem... which is that whenever the System for the mouse settings have been changed, CS3 distorts apparently any setting double-click outside the default as a Ctrl-click the equivalent of a right click Mac in Windows. Because the double-click speed has been changed, each time I left-button/single-clicked on anything in Photoshop, it had misinterpreted as a right-/ Ctrl-click the button instead, which is the normal command to put in place the drop-down menu with all the other partners of the tools.

Reset the speed of the default double click in system settings solved the problem, so I'm CE marking as "assumed answered" in the hope that someone else running into the same problem on an old system might find with Google at least.

  • How can I change the width of the line that appears when using the distance tool in the toolbar meaasuring

When I want to measure the distance of a line of architectural drawing and I scroll to the bottom of the toolbar to measure and then I select distance when I measure the distance line is about 24 points. How can I make thinner?

You should be able to view the properties bar (cmd + E), select the annotation of measure and change the line with setting. If you click on the button 'More', you will be able to select the checkbox 'Use default properties' so any new measure you will have these new settings.

Currently I have to hover over them to see what they do. I would like to be able to read what each icon does, so I don't spend time in hover to find the icon I need at this time.
