  I have a HP Pavilion a1240n runnning Windows 8.1 nor the ATA DVD HP 740 b device or appliance IDE\CdRomLITE-ON_DVDRW_SOHW-work. I get the following message appears in the Device Manager box

  We organize a Dos based Windows 98 application and I need to find a driver for the integrated parallel port. The motherboard is an ASUS P5GD2-TMX/S. Both the local provider and ASUS only provide XP and more drivers for the motherboard. How can I determine the manufacturer of the parallel port and download the driver directly from their site? I done this before for the serial port and downloaded and installed a Sunnix driver, which worked.

• Network cards - "this device cannot start." (Code 10)

  I recently bought a new video card and in order to make it work, I got my BIOS and motherboard software updated (v9 to v20, a huge leap that I've apparently updated in 2012). After the update my new graphics card worked perfectly, but I ran into a problem with my network card.

  At the start, my internet connection is broken. When I access the Device Manager, it shows me that network cards, specifically my Intel 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection has an alert, and the message is: "this device cannot start. (Code 10) ». Now, if I reboot either OR I right-click on Intel 82579LM Gigabit network connection, and then select Properties > advanced > value and select "Automatic Detection" or "Force Master Mode" it resets and I have access to the internet (at least until the next time I turn on my PC and there is no need to repeat the process). If I try this again, it breaks and I need to restart.

  I guess I have to reinstall my drivers and to this end, I visited the site Web of Gigabit and downloaded PROWinx64.exe (as I am running Windows 7 64 - bit).   I have a brand new Philips Soundbar which does not work.  Running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and try to use the audio driver generic usb (which is what suggests Philips).  I get the dreaded "this device cannot start. (Code 10) "error.

  It is possible that the Soundbar is perhaps not compatible with Windows 7 64 bit operating system.

  Check out the link here and open the user manual where it does not list Windows 7 in system requirements.

  If it works, try the step below and check out them.

  1. click on Control Panel.

  2. double-click on the sounds and Audio devices icon.

  3. in sounds and Audio devices

  1 properties, select the Audio tab.

  2. under sound playback, select Philips SPA5210.

  If the previous step fails, then try to connect to it on the other USB port and check.

  If you have Windows 7 32 bit on another PC, check if the Soundbar works.

  e. restart the computer and check.

  You can also see the Intel support Web site and try to install the latest version of the network adapter drivers.

Then plugged the device and select the driver manually installation option and wanted Xbox 360 controller for windows driver in the list. Now my controller F710 currently also works well in mode Xinput and Dinput.
