This graphics card back on my Optiplex 7010?

Hello

I want to improve my Optiplex 7010 with a high-end graphics card. I'll buy a new power supply, but the problem here is that this card on my pc?

The card is ATI Radeon HD 7950 with dimensions 275 (L) x 115 (W) x 42 (H) mm. The size of my optiplex is 21.5 x 21.5 x 13.8 inches. It fit?

You can answer the question for yourself with a plastic ruler. The answer is THAT NO, it won't FIT in ANY model because hard drives are on the track of the cards that are over 9 inches long.

    Hello

I'm looking to upgrade my current graphics on this PC card a NVIDIA GT630 for an Asus NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti.

My current features on the PC are:

    Model: HP Pavilion p6-2489ea

    Motherboard: h-joshua-h61-µATX

    RAM: 8 GB

    Power: 300W

    CPU: i5 - 3350P

I understand that I may also update my 500w all about food but other than that I just wanted to know if my PC would be able to support the graphics card GTX 750 TI?

    Hello

Consult this publication of the article.

Some models of the NVIDIA GTX 750 TI require a PCI-E power connector 6 pin auxiliary. The 300 watt PSU is not this power connector.  If the particular graphics you plan requires the auxiliary power connector, then you need to replace the power supply.  If this isn't the case, then you don't need to replace the power supply.

Your PC has a BIOS version 8 so the NVIDIA GTX 750 should work.

There are published of the updates to the BIOSof your PC you can consider applying the last update. There is always a risk of the BIOS update. I keep my PC on UPS to avoid having a power failure during the BIOS update process. You must disable Secure Boot in the BIOS and save the changes. Then start and apply the update to the BIOS.  A your PC is stable and then install the new graphics card.

Mrseano509, I see no reason to review the specifications of the card which should cause a problem.  I strongly suggest you using Catalyst Control Center from AMD.

  • Appropriate power supply? (HP Pavilion p7-1010) and this graphics card work on my computer?

I try to add a graphics card to my computer (HP Pavilion p7-1010), but before that I need to replace the power supply. I have a graphics card which is the Powercolor Radeon HD6670 800 MHZ 1 GB GDDR3. I think I need at least a power of 500 watts provided, but it's my first time replacing a power supply so I do not know how to choose.

    Graphics card:http://ncix.ca/products/?sku=63154&vpn=AX6670%201GBK3-H&manufacture=PowerColor

The Powercolor Radeon HD6670 800 MHZ 1 GB GDDR3 appears it should work on your computer. I think that the specifications of the cards require a 400 Watt power supply. Please consider the Corsair CX500, CX500M, CX600 or CX600M because they are highly recommended and are known to adapt to most HP computers class consumption of office.

  • Dell optiplex 755 mt graphics card update

    Hi all! :))
I have an optiplex 755 minitour. I have a gt graphics card EN8600, I want to buy http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/R72501GD5/ it. It comes in the box? I know that low profile 7750 is the best choice, but in my country is not available. Sorry for my English when I wrote something wrong. Thank you for your answer :)

OK, so I ended up buying the card low profile Diamond HD Radeon 1 GB for my Dell Optiplex 755 minitour, well right off the bat I knew there would be problems, firstly the big black box is really tight against the card and because of two "transistors" just above the video card slot radeon hd7750 didn't come home. So I removed the top of the video card fan and he went, but when I got to the top of the computer screen, black. OK for the next, that I made that I had uninstalled my previous ATI Radeon X 600 series drivers and Yes, they were gone I also ensured that in my BIOS, this graphics card was elected s and when it does not work I went back to "automatic". Still does not work, the monitor says no signal it stays black. I tried to install drivers before I put the video card in and that has not worked, I tried to put the card in and remove the cmos battery to see if it would work and that SO it did not work, either I am completely frustrated and it was my birthday present and I was very happy to receive now really upset! I know I should of treated Tigerdirect! I bought the video card in DiamondMultiMedia on eBay, that they had a positive rating of 99% so I thought ok good deal lets roll. After all this, I called support and the tech told me as if I was a student of fifth to which I informed him that I had tried everything. He wanted to give me another card but I have to pay the shkpping return this Radeon HD7750 and then they send me another lmao graphics card I said no as I want my money back on my card! Do not buy this is not going in the Dell OLptiplex 755 MT

  • Pavilion HPE - 533 sc: installed new graphics card. Hard drive stops

I can also clearly see that disk hard fails or starts the Windows 7 Edition operating system home premium.

I am running Nvidia GT 630, and back on this card machines works well again.

It just loks like the new graphics card prevents the hard drive to run.

All attached cables (power cable 6 pin) and locked firmly into the PCI slot.

Is it possible that the new card draws so much power that it prevents the hard drive of the race?

When you press ESC, it seems that the hard drive is registered in the Bios.

This nvidia gtx 950 is better? It seems to be more the size of the one I have - nvidia GT 630. Link shows specifications.

I'm not familiar with current PC for sale, regarding upgrades.  Since is considered a new HP, try looking at the list of options on the HP website.  Most higher end PC have the options that you choose before buy you, to customize the generation.  Choose a model with options that match your criteria now and notice the upgrade options - write down them - to avoid confusion later.  OR go with a customized version, but this could mean significant spending.  It is the hand off the coast between prebuilts and personalized.

Please solve the problem, as I say if installing windows 8 will solve the problem?

    thnx

    Hello:

It is very easy to solve the problem.

Since your new video card has an HDMI output means that the video card also has a HD processor.

So when you have installed your video card, your PC think not only do you have a video card installed, but you have also installed a new card audio too, so he turned off the onboard video and the audio system built into the BIOS.

To make the sound system working again, go into the BIOS and in the Advanced menu, find the embedded audio setting.

You will see that it is now set to off.

Change the setting to "Enabled". Save there by pressing the F10 key, then when you go out (save the settings and exit).

After restarting your PC, you will have your sound back on board and if you plug an HDMI cable to HD TV or monitor, audio video card works at the sound of the TV.

  • Graphics card compatible for HP DC7800 SSF Core 2 Duo - 2, 33 GHz

    Hello guys,.

I'm about to buy a second hand HP DC7800 SSF Core 2 Duo - 2, 33 GHz. In addition, I want to buy a graphics card for it and accidentally found this one:

    http://www.eBay.com/ITM/gigabyte-ATI-Radeon-HD-5450-1gb-DDR3-PCIE-low-profile-video-card-GV-R545D3-1...

My question is, this graphics card is supported by HP DC7800 SSF Core 2 Duo - 2, 33 GHz. If incompatible, what would be the best option?

Your time and your tips are good apprecited. Thank you

    Hello:

You can actually install the HD 6450 low profile card.

It is the optional video card in the 8200 Elite SFF that has also a P/S 240W.

You can see this post where someone did exactly cela and the card works properly - page 3 of the related thread.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/desktop-hardware/graphics-card-for-HP-Compaq-dc7800/TD-p/1228843/highlight/true/page/3

If you buy a card with HDMI output, make sure that you go back into the BIOS > Advanced Menu > device configuration settings and change the integrated audio system setting from disabled to enabled. You save the setting here and once again, when you go out.

Also, make sure that you uninstall the graphics card in the Device Manager before you install a new card.  Do not restart afterwards. Shut down the PC instead, unplug the unit, press the power button to drain any residual power and install the new card.

I also believe that a GeForce 210 works OK in your PC too.

P/S advertised requirements are 300W if that makes feel you safer.
