  I'm glad you found what was causing the problem. Can you post the name of the extension that caused the problem and mark this message as the solution so that users can quickly find what extension to remove if they have the same problem?

  Unfortunately, some extensions are known to cause disturbances of the navigation of the user experience. For example, see the article: delete a toolbar which took in charge your search Firefox or the home page. At the end of the day, installation of extensions is like installing other applications on your computer - do not forget to get a reliable source and remove it quickly if it isn't something suspicious. There are other extensions to backup Firefox as well in case something irreparable happens, see FEBE and OPIE.

  I'm here to say sorry for the post this problem here because the problem was not never firefox was rather my (opensuse with Gnome 3.8) operating system configuration causing this bad behavior.
  The simple reason was the selection of the language and the region , the configuration of more generic language to Spanish is [Spanish of Spain], but my choice was [Colombian Spanish] this cause bad behavior in firefox. I have change the selection and the problem was solved.

  EDIT: I solved this problem on my end. It turns out that my mouse manufacturer had a "helper" program that has been screwing the horizontal tilt support. Stop smoking it solved the problem. To other people having the same problem, I recommend that you check the utility of using your mouse.

  I give myself to understand that previous versions of Firefox support a horizontal scrolling when it is used with a scroll wheel mouse that supported messages of tilt. However, I was unable to make it work on Firefox 20.0.1. I tried to disable scrolling smoothly, hardware acceleration, restart in safe mode, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

  (The troubleshooting information below represent the usual configuration of my browser, disable all extensions).

  However, other applications seem to handle mousewheel tilts very well; I tried it with applications as simple as Notepad on Windows and they scroll horizontally in response to the inclinations of mousewheel. I'm puzzled; delete Mozilla tilt support in future versions of Firefox?

  Q: can you the proportions for a rectangular selection of cut-and - paste be unlocked?

  Formerly, in Snow Leopard 10.6.8 cut and paste a rectangular selection of an image in the preview has resulted a selection with eight points of click-and - drag: one at each corner and one on each side.  By clicking and dragging one of these licences stretching/tilt the value selected in any direction.

  Now, in the current version of El Capitan 10.11.3 preview, dragging these points only expands or collapses the selection and the aspect ratio is locked.  I have the impression I'm missing something very basic, but can't find any way to unlock the proportions for the selection in the drop-down menus or toolbars.

  A minor inconvenience, but boring, as the old function provided an extremely useful tool for making models quick and easy collage images that eventually became the graphic designs.

  New system, 27 "envy tilted, the keyboard does not work. new replacement shipped by HP keyboard is also non-functional. So I guess the question is with computer, no keyboard. Pls advise on this a driver problem or a hardware problem.

  The dongle does not synchronize with the keyboard, only with the mouse, even when the button 'reset' blue on the keyboard has been held down various lengths of seconds. A new keyboard/mouse/dongle synched did the trick. The dongle attaches behind the access panel on the back of the tilt on the internal USB port for this purpose.  Nothing wrong with tilt, down.

  Then maybe you should check the USB settings.

  Go to Device Manager and open the USB bus controller tree
  Here, you must mark the unique USB root hubs and select Properties.

  In the Management tab to disable the function allow the computer to turn off this device

  In addition I recommend upgrading the XP to the last State. I want to say that all fixes and patches must be installed!

  I noticed this problem which looks like 3 weeks ago or not. I am running 64-bit Windows 10 on my T450s and when I start to close the screen, the screen will turn black. The red light at the rear stays on, but as soon as I fully open the screen again, the computer will be turned off completely. My options are set to put the computer in mode standby when the lid is closed, but it can happen when the tilt a few degrees. I'm on BIOS version 1.22.

  The solution that has been provided to this client, Connor_o, was a repair of the equipment. He was released in a TIP Service. I recommend contacting the Lenovo Service and SEO Service TIP # T0110-SF14 / HT101490, as your system will probably require the same repair.
