Time UTC

Can someone tell me how I can get the seconds elapsed since midnight January 1, 1970 in flash? Like the PHP with
$_SERVER ['REQUEST_TIME']
that looks like 1176394301

I tried it work with no luck.

Update = new Date();
year = (pDate.getYear () - 70) * 31556926
m = pDate.getMonth () * 2629743.83
d = pDate.getDate () * 86400
h = pDate.getHours () * 3600;
min = pDate.getMinutes () * 60;
s = pDate.getSeconds)
trace (Year + m + d + h + min + s);

Sorry, I thought you meant milliseconds... re-read, it tells you seconds.... Although valueOf() simply returns milliseconds... so divide by 1000... It's easier.

  • Time different time UTC

    Hello

    I noticed the time UTC gives me time British. Is there a way to avoid the TSB, British summer time and continue to use coordinated universal time as a time of cross-country stable?

    If I type UTC in the nearest town, I get UTC without lag. It says GMT as the time zone, but I guess that's maybe because the TSB has not started yet.

  • How to retrieve the time UTC

    I am trying to retrieve time UTC how to get UTC time?

    or how to convert the current time in UTC?

    in java, I can use the time code below to retrieve UTC.

    Calendar cal = Calendar.GetInstance ();

    SimpleDateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat ("yyyy-MM-dd hh: mm s");

    sdf.setTimeZone ((TimeZone.getTimeZone ("UTC")));

    Return sdf.format (cal.getTime ());

    But in the time zone BlackBerry only supports "GMT" as an argument...

    So, how to convert hour UTC for the hour UTC or how?

    In my view, there is only a non-significant difference between time UTC and time GMT you will get from BlackBerry.  The time GMT is NOT performed by DaylightSaving.

    So I think you can use both you get System.currentTimeMillis () as the hour UTC, expressed as a value of type long representative milliseconds since 01/01/1970.

    If you wish to format it, then things start to become a little more complicated.  But you can create a DateTimeField and set its time zone GMT, and it will appear correctly.

  • Terrible problem with the dates and time UTC

    I have a countdown, but he seems to not work in other time zones. I think that the problem is related to my conversion to time UTC. If the end date is in UTC, so I have to convert the date now time UTC, too, but I couldn't find a way to do it. Here is my code - count is off because the end date is in UTC, but today's date is in local time. I could really use some quick help (before my end date can't!).

    Well, I have a solution, and it was much easier that it seemed to be.

    All the asp file has to say is:
    <%response.write FormatDateTime(now(),0)%>

    Then the as3 code is:

  • The time UTC is off by one hour

    Today is the first day of April. At work, my laptop Windows 7 (64 bit) claims that the time at the moment is 2142 UTC, but it's NOT it's really 2042 UTC. Accordingly, my local time is ahead an hour - she claims is 1442 Pacific Daylight Time, but it's really 1342.

    Yes, it has something to do with summer time daaylight, but I'm all good. The problem seems to be that last weekend, the British Isles went on British summer time - and Windows 7 clock utilities push by mistake UTC before an hour.
    I tried various time servers and the result is always the same - UTC is off in an hour.
    It seems impossible for me - how could one screwup $ M something like that?

    Excuse me!

    What is the problem with you, RESET the time... manually?

  • Time UTC of handler (Get-VIEventPlus)

    I use the function Get-VIEventPlus of Luke to monitor events in failover HA.

    However, when you export the events I noticed that the event handler that is used by this function has the time to UTC, which gives me a shift of 2 hours during the summer period.

    PowerCLI C:\ > (Get-view EventManager). LatestEvent.CreatedTime.Kind

    UTC

    While the regular Get-VIEvent command uses local time (I guess times the vCenter Server):

    PowerCLI C:\ > (Get-VIEvent |) Select - 1 first). CreatedTime.Kind

    Local

    I solve this 'problem' using the .NET method. ToLocalTime() to get reports that is not misled people unfamiliar with the UTC format:

    $Event.CreatedTime.ToLocalTime)

    But I wonder if anyone knows why the event handler uses UTC while Get-VIEvent uses local time, and if you can change it somehow? Whence the event Manger get timestamps?

    And a bonus would be if anyone knows if I see what ESX host rebooted AP VM has been placed on the front the reboot?

    VSphere servers follow events in UTC, because these servers can be in different time zones.

    The Get-VIEvent cmdlet converts the UTC to localtime.

    As far as I know, this behavior is not configurable.

    Surveys I've done for my failover HA VM monitoring post, there is no easy way to find where a VM was organized before the HA event.

    You can run a daily inventory and a record where a virtual machine is running.

    An alternative is to find what node ESXi failed and makes HA to take these steps. But it is not infallible.

  • The date/time value UTC?

    How one set the Date and time UTC on the NEX - 5R? Y at - it a specific setting for this, or is it necessary to cheat it via the parameter map area?

    The NEX5R has no GPS (like some similar devices) so there is no way to know what time zone, you're really or what time. You can set the time zone to a zone that you want, then set it to the United Kingdom and correct the time you must be what it is in the United Kingdom.

    I am not sure, but I guess that there is a possibility that the NEX5R could restore the local date and time if you connect it to a computer via the USB cable, perhaps even through Wi - Fi, so watch out for that.

  • Date formatting according to UTC time zones

    Using MySQL, php

    www.freecrm.x10hosting.com

    Before installing my paintings, I need to better understand the relevance of the datetime property and conversion of this area.

    I am based in th UK (UTC, Greenwich mean time), but my host is in the States, which means that the date of "now" and time is based on US time (UTC?)-

    I did the formatting of the date, for example <? PHP echo date (, d/m/Y ', strtotime ($datetime ['DATETIME']));? > but don't know how to approach the problem compared to all visitor's time zone in the world.

    I have a sniffer script that detects the language of browsers, but I don't see that to be very useful.

    The site requires registration/login so I guess I could have a preference of UTC (UTC + 3 or whatever) in their folder. This could then be used to something like that.

    <? PHP date echo (se, d/m/Y ', strtotime($datetime['DATETIME']+$row_recordsetuser['UTCTIMEZONEPREFERENCE']));? >

    Does make sense?

    I know that the formatting will be a challenge as well because the United States use d/m/Y,

    Or is there a way to format the data of MySQL before its even called?

    You must use date_default_timezone_set() instead:

    | Note: Since PHP 5.1.0 (when the date/time functions were written).
    | every call to a date/time function will generate an E_NOTICE if the

  • DateTime file back at the time UNIX

    I have some old pictures I scanned and sets the file date time via the touch control to a date earlier than the time UNIX (January 1, 1970). It works, but only for a period of time, when the file returns to the time UNIX. As I understand it, HFS + supports the beaches of dates January 1, 1904 - February 6, 2040, and touch not to complaint using the date, so I'm surprised by the behavior.

    Here is an example:

    $ touch t 194310010000 testfile

    $ ls-l testfile

    -rw - r - r - 1 personal bnixon 0 1 October 1943 testfile

    After a certain period of time (I've not been able to determine a model)

    $ ls-l testfile

    -rw - r - r - 1 bnixon personal 0 31 December 1969 testfile

    Note that I am in the Central time zone, December 31, 1969 makes sense once the time zone is applied to the date/time UTC of January 1, 1970 00:00:00.

    Any thoughts on what could be the cause and how to prevent? Or are the date before the time UNIX not supported? I ran the disk first aid, and there are no errors.

    OSX is a UNIX certified 2003 operating system and UNIX systems hate dates wrong files before the DAYS of UNIX itself. Therefore, the operating system is saying that it does not include the date of your imposed file and puts it at the TIME, the first valid date in UNIX.

    You will need to either organize your photos in the dated folder names (e.g., 1943), incorporate the photo date in the name of your file, or as a comment via Get Info Finder, whenever the date is outside the valid range of UNIX data. You can then specify the Finder, for example, to show you all the images in 1943, where this date is in the name of the folder, name of file or comments.

  • cRIO PTP time sync: 35 second offset?

    Hello

    I'm new to the PTP Protocol, and I'm trying to synchronize the date and time between the 2 CompactRIOs and a GPS (a Tekron TTM 01-E) clock.

    The PTP network comms work correctly: I can put 3 devices as master and the other 2 will follow his time. Especially, when I push the Philippe clock to be a slave, he will ignore the GPS value and track the value of cRIO.

    However, regardless of which device is the master the cRIOs times will always be 35 s ~ before the time of Philippe. The 2 cRIOs will always be the same time.

    Why could this be? How can I get rid of this shift?

    I don't know whether a problem with cRIO generic PTP config or config. I've attached a screenshot of 2 desks if it provides clues. Any guidance/insight will be appreciated!

    35 seconds corresponds to the current offset between time scales TAI and UTC. PTP usually use the time scale TAI, but not always. What is your device Philippe configured to report the time UTC when the master?

  • synchronization of time of Windows with different servers.

    I'm using Windows Vista and I live in Greece. is there a difference of synchronization if I choose another server from the default list?

    choose one server other than "time.windows.com" will always offer the same time, right?

    .. .choosing one server other than "time.windows.com" will always offer the same time, right?

    That is right. A time server provides time in UTC (or coordinated universal time) format which is the same from everywhere and anywhere in the world. This used to be known as GMT ( Greenwich mean time). Your computer takes time UTC and converts it to local time by using the settings you have for time zone and daylight saving time.
